LSU Football Tickets It was a couple days before my 12th birthday, and my parents called me into the living room. When I walked in they handed me a birthday card and told me to open it. I was kinda confused as to why they gave it to me early because they have never done it and when I saw what was inside I became very excited. As I sat there and looked at it a little longer to believe that I actually got 5 tickets to the LSU football game. When I looked at my parents with a surprised look on my face, they knew that those tickets were worth the money. When I pulled them out of the card, they were shiny with a football player on the front. My brother and sister were shocked too because they were going to an LSU football game also. As I looked closer at the tickets, I saw that the date for the game was October 26, 2013, which is three days before my birthday. That’s when I figured out why they gave it to …show more content…
On the way to the game we made many stops along the way. I slept most of the way there, so I didn’t actually get to view much. The times I was awake I could not wait to get there because I wanted to see what it was like to attend an LSU game. When we got to the campus, there were so many people there trying to get a parking spot. Finally, when we found a spot to park, we were extremely far away from the stadium and as we were walking up to all the tailgating spots, there was the LSU game day parade passing by. They threw out many things and after that we walked around for awhile, and finally it was time for the game to start. After a while of waiting to try to get in, we finally got in and we went looking for our seats. We had to walk up many stairs to get to our seats, and we waited for the game to initiate. When the game started everybody was hollering, jumping up and down, and full of excitement when the football players came out on the field, and I couldn’t wait to watch them
Over the years throughout high school, I have been a part of many athletic teams. I have been blessed with the ability to become apart of volleyball, tennis, dance team, softball, and even club volleyball where I have a new team annually. Travel volleyball includes driving on the weekends up to nine hours away to compete for the majority of the day for three days straight. Over this time period, being with your teammates for such a long time, you made bonds that will last a lifetime. The memories made are priceless and are cherished so dearly. Being apart of all of these teams has taught me important life lessons, and has shaped me into the person I am today. I encourage everybody to become part of an athletic team because you learn helpful characteristics
That morning I was so happy and filled with excitement. I came into school and everyone was happy to see me. Even people I barely knew were happy to greet me with a sincere birthday congratulations. It was awesome because I had so many new friends and all of us were joyful on that day.
It was less than a second, maybe half a second, but it changed everything. It was late at night after a soccer game. I was laying down in my room, coloring in a picture book, when my parents called me downstairs. After my sister and I walked downstairs, we were told to sit on the couch. Apparently my parents had something important to tell us, i didnt really realize what was going to happen because I was younger, so I sat on the couch smiling widely.
It was new year's day and my family and I were at a party, but the party was about over and we were packing up our cooler and the food we brought to head home. My dad and my mom got it all back in the car and my brother, my sister, and I piled in and we headed home. Once we got home we unloaded the car quickly because we were all tired and wanted to go to bed. All of us knew the next day was going to be super exciting because we were going to a fourwheeler hill climb place for the first time.
It was one of the best days of my life and soon one of the saddest days. When I was 5 years old I got one of the best gifts any kid good ask for. I’ve always wanted one and was so glad when I laid eyes on her. Before I go into detail why not just start from the very beginning. One evening, my little brother and I was watching tv with my mama when I heard my mama talking to my dad on the phone saying “what you mean you have a surprise?” When I heard that, I knew that It had to be something really intriguing. Minutes later I could hear the sound of the tires running over rocks and an engine running. It turns out that It was my daddy pulling into the driveway, so I had gotten even more anxious to find out exactly what the surprise was. My mama, brother, and I all waited in the living room, ready to find out exactly what my daddy was surprising us with. He finally walked in but in his hand was a box with holes in the top.

America’s most popular sport, football, draws popularity from young children to adults, and as time has progressed, many debate the safety of the physical game. Convincing parents to withhold children from participating in tackle football, the fear of injuries and brain damage produces controversy and debate over the quality of the sport. Although people often believe football has a high injury rate, lasting injuries or concussions occur in less than 1% of children under the age of twelve participating in Pop Warner football (Straus). Popularity comes expectedly as the sport does produce beautiful memories and moments in modern American history. Hastily deciding against football, parents often overlook the benefits of the game and fail to
Walking out into the giant stadium felt unreal. There were rows of chairs set up in the middle of it all. I approached my white foldout chair and took my seat. I had never felt so small. Once I was seated, I turned around and took a look at everyone sitting in the stands. Even though there were hundreds of people there, my eyes immediately went to my family. Everyone was there, my parents, sister and brother, even cousins that I had not talked to in years. They were all there for me on my day. So that is when I decided to be there for
Before the game my teammates and I were all hyped up. It was like we were warriors going off to battle. We could hear the roars of the crowd outside of our locker room. We took a peek outside and saw the student section was packed, in fact the whole stands were filled. Then

It was August 28th 2013 , I knew the next day would be the biggest day of my life. All throughout the week, all I had on my mind was the big game. When I woke up on that Friday morning chills would run through my body a bolt of electricity. Knowing I’m one day away from one of the biggest games of my life. The winner has a spot in the playoffs. I was so excited and anxious that I went for a run around my neighborhood because I was filled with so much energy. When I got back from my run I had a creamy peanut butter and nutella sandwich. The best sandwich I’ve ever conceived to this day. Next thing I had to do was take my shower and get all my stuff prepared for the big game.
The Nebraska football stadium, otherwise known as the Memorial Stadium, is one of the most famous stadiums ever. There have been 360 and counting consecutive sellouts in this stadium. In fact it’s a world record, beating second place by more than 100 games. As you can probably tell I get a little nerdy about this kind of stuff. With that information, on the other hand, this shows how the Nebraska Cornhuskers have the best college football fans in history. When I joyfully walked into the stadium the pregame feeling melted with the sun and I began to feel that game time feeling. This is when your mind is only set to the game in front of
2 Friday's ago, my mom took me to the DSHS football field so I could be ball boy for the high school football team. When I got there I got a huge surprise from my mom and dad. My dad told me to go to another one of the coach’s computer and click on the Microsoft Word. When I read it I was in shock. The computer read something like, “Davis and Carson you are going to see the Tigers play!” and it had a picture of Cowboy Stadium. I knew instantly that it meant we were going to the LSU vs. TCU game, which was the next day. I was so excited, even though I tried to hold my excitement in. It was going to be my second LSU road game, but my first ever LSU neutral site game.
It was my birthday. Two things that I never thought would happen. One was me getting a chocolate lab I named Hazel, the second was losing a loved one. These two thing happened on one day that I will love and hate for the rest of my life.
