“Throughout the past, there has been a lack of intimacy, affection, and regard for Islam by Christianity. This, to a large extent, has been due to a lack of knowledge of the great human and spiritual ideals for which Islam and the teachings of Islam stand.”-Aly Khan. The Islam and Christian religions are really not that different. Whereas Islam and Christianity are different as Islam practices the 5 pillars, believes in the Qur'an, their symbol is the crescent, and worships in a mosque, while Christianity follows Jesus, believes in the Bible, their symbol is the cross, and worships in a church; they are also similar as they both monotheistic, believe in the afterlife, have holy books, and have prophetic leaders.
Islam and Christianity have some similarities, they are definitely not the exact same. The Islamic practices are very different from the Christians. Muslims practice the five pillars: The testimony of faith, prayers, support of the needy, going to Makkah, and fasting the month of Ramadan (Where you would abstain from eating, drinking, and having sexuall relationships from dawn untill sundown for an entire month). The Islamic and Christian religion are both monotheistic meaning they only believe in one god. The Muslims believe in Muhammad and the Christians in Jesus. These religions both believe in the afterlife. Islam teaches that Muslims have both a body and a soul. The soul lives on after death and waits to be judged. Muslims believe that they will be judged for their actions in life. Christians believe in the idea of judgement after death, and that God will treat people in the afterlife according to how they lived their life on earth.
