Another benefit is creating a competitive advantage by passing on suggestions for value engineering and energy efficiency to future customers.
From this assessment, the company can determine specific areas in company operations
where the company can be environmentally responsible and set goals accordingly. This vision or code of conduct can then be passed on to the employees with expectations for participation and implementation. The second recommendation is that a waste management plan become part of the day to day operations of the company within the office and all construction activities on all projects.
The company has been required to provide a waste management plan for two construction projects over the past 3 years. These plans included a recycling/reuse percentage goal for the project, a list of the types of materials and waste that would be generated by the project, what types of recycling, reuse, or disposal methods would be used and what vendors would be used to fulfill the waste management goals included in the plan. By implementing a waste management plan for all company operations the company isn’t just being socially responsible in this area due to a contractual requirement, the company is making a commitment to always be socially responsible by managing waste in an environmentally responsible manner.

Once the policy has been executed and training has started, communicating aspects about the code of conduct can have a significant impact on the ethical culture. Many of these communications come through the human resources department, but the voice of the executive management team is critical in these communications.
1. In order to implement an organizations commitment to social responsibility it is necessary to identify what social problem the organization intends to address, develop policies on what the organization plans to do to successfully fulfill its obligation and ensure stakeholder buy-in. The main obstacles an organization faces when implementing socially responsible policies is pressure from stockholders and business analysis who want steady increase in earnings. Without steady increase in profits, it becomes difficult to reinvest money in these areas. The following actions can be taken toward increased social responsibility:

We as business owners, management and or in a role of authority must set, address and comply with a solid foundation of ethics. “A code of conduct is the single most important element of your ethics and compliance program. It sets the tone and direction for the entire function. Often, the code is a standalone document, ideally only a few pages in length. It introduces the concept of ethics and compliance and provides an overview of what you mean when you talk about ethical business conduct.”
At Company X, it is our upmost desire to comply with rules and laws pertaining to our business, and to hold our values at a spectacular level. Our company values include responsibility, equality, honesty, confidentiality, respect, and integrity. These values are the building block of our company, and should be followed by all employees, management, and any persons associated with our business. By adhering to the code of conduct, our work environment will be comfortable and reliable, and will help avoid unethical behavior.
3) Code of conduct policy stating expectations of employers regarding what is expected of employees and what they can expect in return.
The project will follow a series of phases during production. Each phase will reflect a goal in achieving a particular task and also the resources needed to
A code of conduct and a statement of formal statements describe and explain what an organization expects from its employees and a code of ethics generally consists of statements that serve as principles and basis for rules of conduct. Leaders and managers must be role models for organizational success. If employees see leaders and management demonstrating the organizational values then it adds to the commitment and credibility of leadership and reinforces the importance of the organization’s values which leads to employees who are more engaged and committed to the organization. Also turnover among employees tends to be lower and productivity tends to be high. On the other hand, if leadership demonstrates behavior that is inconsistent with the code of conduct then a negative message is sent to the employees. Therefore, employees may disengage and compromise company standards as seen in the
One of the major decisions that Humans of New York have done to not only increase people 's knowledge of this business, but to help the community, is to take up a lot of social responsibility, mostly through philanthropy. On many different occasions since 2012, Stanton has started many fundraising campaigns. On November the 11th 2012, Stanton, partnered with Tumblr owner David Karp, started a fundraiser for the relief effort after the destruction of Hurricane Sandy. With an original goal of $100,000, $86,000 of this was raised in the first twelve hours. Stanton offered gifts such as ‘follow Humans of New York for a day’ and prints of photos for the larger donations. Eventually, this campaign

Recycling is defined as the separation of salvageable items from composite trash. Recycling is a crucial part of environment sustainability. Benefits from proper recycling systems are obvious, as the life of consumer products are extended beyond one use. By replacing a new product with a used product, raw material usage is minimized as well as the intermittent pollution associated with production. In addition, the re-used product is diverted from becoming
