Personality is the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character. It is something that is informally assessed and described every day. When talking about others characteristics of an individual and their personality are frequently referred to. Each personality tests has its own set of strength and weaknesses. The "Jung Typology Test" is a test designed to give an individual a four letter personality type. There are 16 personality types available for people to obtain. Each four letter personality type gives one a sense of who they are. Meyer Briggs developed the tests based on the theory of physiological types. The theory of psychological type was introduced in 1920 by Carl G. Jung. Thus, the personality …show more content…
I have a moderate preference of extroversion over introversion. I have a slight preference of feeling over thinking. Also, I am closed-minded, slightly disorganized, and agreeable just to name a few. The tests had a few things that matched my personality and a few that did not. One quality that matched was the level of extroversion. In social situations, I tend to talk to everyone and tend to like being around people. Disorganization is something that also was valid. During the school year, sometimes I misplace my things or lose track of them because they are not as organized as they can be. Many friends and family members would say I am agreeable and willing to compromise. However, one of the tests said I was closed-minded. I do like to stick with things I know, but I will also try something new at anytime if I feel that it would be better for me. Although I do sympathize for people, I would say that I have an equal balance of feeling and thinking, and that I use each one depending on the …show more content…
I knew that I was calm and easygoing at times, but I thought I was a bit high-strung than the test said. One area that I would like to approve on is my organization because I find that having a neat room or space helps me to stay focused and finish what I am doing. To improve the skill of organization, I might want to take a few minutes each day to tidy up my work space, locker, room, etcetera. I can also have set places where I put any of my things so I will not misplace my items and be looking for them in a
An example of how this describes me is, I tend to make decisions based off my internal feelings. A few weeks ago, my friend asked me to go with her to meet this guy for the first time ever. She said that she didn’t want to go alone, so she wanted me as backup. The guy my friend was planning to meet was someone she met online, and he was her boyfriend. I declined the offer to go with her because something in my gut told me it was a bad idea. Luckily for her he turned out to be a nice person, however I’m still glad I did not go because who knows what kind of crazy person he could have turned out to be. In this situation you can see how I go off thinks I just know are
I believe I am well organized, I plan things out the minute I receive them I don't like to waste time and regret that choice later in time. I have been told by many of the people around my I am organized and responsible, during my tenth grade year I would make study guides for even the smallest tests to make sure I would make the highest grade possible. I also try to turn in my assignments in as close as I can, the only reason I see that I wouldn't be able to is because of a legitimate problem and not just because I was too lazy to do the
One of them being conscientiousness. Conscientious people are very driven and orderly. They set goals and firm plans to achieve these goals. Rarely are they spontaneous or disorganized. My score within the Big Five Personality Profile was moderate for conscientiousness. I would say that I do exhibit some of these characteristics. I can be very organized and reliable. As a weakness, I find that I am not always a self-starter. I will set goals and stick to them, but need that push from others to get started. For instance, I was given the opportunity to work on an exciting new project at work that involves direct feedback from employees that I would personally deliver to upper management. This would be a big responsibility as I would be representing hundreds of employees and voice the current concerns of our group. I was asked to think it over. While processing the position, three others volunteered and I lost out of the opportunity. I took my time and wasn’t as organized in my decision making, therefore I missed out greatly.
Within the Jung Typology Test (JTT) it states that my type of personality is introverted, sensing, feeling and judging. The results indicated I am an introvert over extrovert, the score showed 56%. There was a marginal or no preference to sensing over intuition at 1% for this result. Moderate preference to feeling over thinking at 25%, and a strong preference to judging over perceiving at 78%. So this is saying that I am an introverted sensing with extroverted feeling.
After taking the Jung Typology Test my four letters were ENFJ. According to these results my personality type is that of an extraverted individual. It states that I am a person who is outgoing, generous, talkative. It highlights I am a person who likes to be social and values relationships and collective values. I agree with this because I do believe that I am a person who loves to interact with people.
Personality Results Extravert Personality Type The Jung Typology test revealed my personality type as an extravert more than an introvert. I prefer to deal with the world outside myself versus dealing with the world internally. As a newly identified extravert my “source and direction of energy expression is mainly in the external world” (Personality Type Explained n.d.). The personality test exposed me to a perspective I have not
According to the Jung Typology Test, my four letter personality type is ISFJ. I was not surprised with my results at all and found them to be very accurate and represent me as a person. As an introvert, “I often prefer doing things alone or with one or two people (CITE). As a student, being an introvert is a disadvantage for me because I do not work well with large study groups and instead rather lock myself in a room and study alone. With sensing, “I learn best when I see how to use what I’m learning” (CITE) and only complete things using what I know from experience. By only using my experience when completing assignments or school work hinders my experience as a student by limiting my ability to learn new material. Through feeling, I tend
My personality type according to the Jung Typology Test is ISTJ. These letters stand for Introvert, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. I agree with my results because, I’m introverted and would rather be by myself a majority of the time. I tend to try to make sense of things instead of allowing my intuition to take over. I think long and hard about certain outcomes that could go bad or good.
Hello, I’m Joshua Dudley and the results I got for my Jung Typology Test was on point for the kind of person I am. In the Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test my letters were ENFJ. ENFJs are the benevolent 'pedagogues' of humanity. They have tremendous charisma by which many are drawn into their nurturant tutelage and/or grand schemes. Many ENFJs have tremendous power to manipulate others with their phenomenal interpersonal skills and unique salesmanship (butt). All of the letters have different meanings. (E)- Extravert (34%), (N)- iNtuitive (9%), (F)- Feeling (19%), and (J)- Judging (28%) and these for letters ENFJ make up the type of person I am. I also had to find a two letter temperament for my personality. The two Letters I think that fit me is (NF)- “The Idealists” which my primary
A personality type dictates ones compatibility in his environment. A personality is an explanation for how one acts, feels, and thinks. Once a person can understand their personality type, one can investigate further in order to interpret new meaning within his persona. The Jung Typology assessment is a test that analyzes people based on their responses to a 64 question test. Once an individual completes the test each person is arranged into sixteen categories.
ESFJs find it hard to make a decision. This happens daily, whether it is buying a snack, or picking an outfit it is a battle for me to decide on what to do. Yet, when I have to make a decision for others it is almost instinct. I always felt this was a bad thing, but now I know I react in this way because it is my personality
My conformed profile is introversion this means that in business and school I am timely and objective. As my personality I have it confirmed of my actions in relation to the test I took which stated: · You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (41%) · You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (25%) · You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (12%) · You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (53%) I am very thoughtful over things and situation than mere feelings, my feeling has never been a challenge to me and I always do things based on my own thoughts and not my feelings. I respect the thoughts of others but constantly reconsider outside decisions before I act.
The first subset of my personality is Extraversion, as opposed to Introversion. As an extrovert, I would describe myself as social, external and gregarious. This characteristic helps me communicate and reach out to others. However, there are cons that go along
My reaction to the “Jung Typology Test” is that it was fairly accurate. I took the Myers-Briggs test last semester for one of my classes and I got the same results. I thought that the test was very simple. However, I thought that some of the questions on the test were a little tricky to answer because I went both ways on it. Some of them were similar to each other with little variations, so it was hard to answer. Overall, I believe that the findings were true to my personality because I can relate to all the letters very well. They truly describe the type of person I am.
Also, extroverted people tend to act impulsively without thinking of consequences. An introverted person will think about his or her actions before committing to them (Extroversion). After taking the Myers-Briggs test, I discovered that I had an extroverted personality (Flynn). This is very prevalent in my job, as well as school. While I benefit from some time to myself, I enjoy working with groups of people. If I must choose between conducting a project on my own or with a group, I will usually pick the group. I also have a job that requires working with large groups of children. While some individuals may find such a large group overwhelming, I find it easy and comfortable. Another indicator of my extroverted personality is my tendency to act on impulse. Many times, I will enroll in classes before I take the time to see if I need them or will do well in them. I also make choices without considering consequences. Last semester, I chose to skip class to attend other events. While friends thought it made me a fun, flexible person, I ended up failing my class due to absences. Being introverted and extroverted both have their positive and negative qualities, but I typically benefit from my outgoing personality.
