Lisa and I met while she was visiting her twin sister. During her visit, Lisa had participated in several activities. One of them was kayaking. She told me about her experience of paddling a kayak for the first time. Lisa described the type of kayak that she used. She also explained how she maneuvered the boat. She answered some questions about her experience. They are listed below: Discussion Questions What did you think when you saw the kayak? How many people went kayaking? Did you know anything about kayaking prior to your trip? How did you sit in the kayak? Did you use a (kayak) skirt? If the kayak tips over, how do you straighten yourself up? If you had the opportunity, would you go kayaking again? Since your sister has gone kayaking
So here's how it all started I was on a boat going to go hunt for game. Until the captain pointed out ship trap island in the distance. I heard 3 gun shots and ran to the rail to see what happened I dropped my pipe and tried to catch it but instead i plunged into the water. I swam with all my might to get to shore because the the water was freezing cold so i swam towards the shots because it meant shelter in my head then i fell asleep.I woke up and went to find some food I saw the remains of a dead animal and a rifle cartridge and some foot prints.
There is nothing like spending the day outdoors and having quality time with my dad. He is an avid sportsman and has been sharing his passion with me since I was young. Hunting and fishing allow me to get away from my daily pressures while experiencing the great outdoors.
As I looked backed at what seemed to be a decent sized wave, I started paddling with all my might, digging through the water, deeper and deeper. The wave came closer and I felt a push from my cousin as I caught the wave. “Stand up” my cousin yelled behind me as the monstrous wave began to swallow me up. I stood up, rode the wave all the way to the shore, and fell in love with the sport of surfing. Since that day, I have loved everything one could ever love about the sport: The salty water as it touched my body, the push of the wave as it stood me up on my smooth yet sticky board, and the exhilarating rush that I felt after every perfect ride. But not quite everything about the sport came easy to me, it took a long ride to find the love I have for the sport today. When I first started competitively surfing, I
Water. One of the world most powerful elements. Waves. Always moving. Always crashing. Always breaking. Something that has always pulled at my attention. Since I was little, I marveled at the waves and their great dominance and the endless amusement they offered. I longed to swim in these waves. I longed to roll with the great crash on the shore, to find the treasures that lurked beneath them, to surf.

I want to explore the ocean and discover new sea life. The ocean is very interesting and big just waiting to be explored and discovered. I hope to major in Marine Biology.
Fishing charters are a fun activity to partake in when you go on an Alaskan vacation, no matter what time of year it is. You get to socialize, spend time on the water, see a variety of fish and even catch a few. While this can be exciting and unlike anything you have experienced before, many people have made the mistake of bringing certain items with them onto the boat. Depending on these items, the fishing charter may not be as fun and exciting as you expected.
Preview statement: Not only is the killing of sharks extremely inhumane, it does more harm than good to our environment.

Do I feel like I know what I’m supposed to be doing in my job and how I fit into my team?
One of the most pleasant ways to go bowfishing is by boat. Although standing on the shore can be restful, as can sitting on a fishing platform gazing down into the water and waiting for your catch to swim by, there is little change of scenery with either of these methods. By contrast, using a boat allows you to glide along many small waterways, exploring nature, seeing different vistas of water, reeds, trees, meadows, and small lakes, possibly encountering other wild animals such as otters, ducks, or herons, which are interesting to see, and generally enjoying the outdoors.

I don't usually do resolutions, but this year I have one primary goal...Get Organized! Last summer my husband and I bought a camper. Every time we used it I felt relaxed, comfortable, peaceful and even slept better. This probably shouldn't be the case and I couldn't really figure it out. I had a realization a month or so ago that the reason I was so comfortable in the camper is that it's much more minimalist. We literally only have room for the things we NEED and the things that serve us and our purpose. I would feel overwhelmed by all of the STUFF at home. It's stuff we may have had since we got married 25 years ago..or stuff people have given us but we don't want to throw out for fear of hurting feelings. I've decided that while
In this essay youll learn how to fish. People think they know how to fish until they start to fish and don't catch anything but sticks. When people catch sticks they tend to lose their temper. "The Open Boat," by Stephen Crane, has been critiqued and deconstructed by many thinkers. One such critique is "The Dialogic Narrative of `The Open Boat'." This critique on Stephen Crane's "The Open Boat," was written by two authors: Sura P. Rath and Mary Neff Shaw. The authors focused on a five main points in the duration of this Critique. First Mikail Baktin's theory of the "Five basic types of discourses," are discussed and used in the deconstruction of "The Open Boat." The critique then delves into the use of first-person actor-character to third person spectator-narrator. Shaw and Rath then annotate the tonal quality of "The Open Boat." Fourthly the critique characterizes and analyzes the key figures of the Novel. Lastly
