For some students them, school is just school. It is something that has just become a part of life, another one of our daily routines. All kids have their own opinions of school, for some it is the best time of their lives and for others, they’re dying and hoping it will be over and done with. For victims of bullying, school can be a living nightmare. (It is probably the last place they want to be at). School is just another place these victims get harassed by the everyday bully at school. (Many people do not know the seriousness of bullying. Bullying is very harmful to kids. These effects kids mentally, lead to poor self-esteem and can even hurt others around them. There are three types of bullying, verbal, social, and physical. Verbal bullying is bullying with words. For example, saying or writing mean things to others. This includes teasing, name-calling, taunting, and threatening to cause harm (Bullying). The next type of bullying is social bullying. Social bullying includes leaving someone out on purpose, telling other people not to be friends with someone, spreading rumors about that person, or even embarrassing someone in public (Bullying). For examples, a group of cheerleaders spot the new girl eating lunch alone, so they walk over there. The new girl is thinking they are coming to eat lunch with her but they are not.
