Keeping The Night-Personal Narrative

Even after all those twenty years, he still thinks she was gorgeous. Yes, even twelve years ago when she was still maybe, ten? It is not totally her appearance. She looks like a little fairy from the story. She was active and she was beautiful. Her brown hair curls a little and always shines because their owner takes good care of them. Even when it was the middle of the night, Carl can still see her working on herself, from her hair to her toes, literally. Every little details are being considered. She is a quite considerate person, but she doesn’t show it normally in life. She would rather just let others to think that she needs help and then help her, because she was so little, innocent and most importantly beautiful. With tears in her big blue eyes, she can get everything she want.

The darkness is coming in closer now. The king’s throne has fallen. The citizens cry as the walls crumble. The enemy laughs as they swing their swords. Fire blazes across the grounds as bodies fall. Children scream as their parents bleed. The warriors rally. They fail as the arrows whiz by them. They each fall one by one. The royal family flees, but get killed on the way out. When they woke up they gathered their things and began traveling through the forest. Tabitha became cautious when she kept hearing noises behind them and was on guard as well as the others. Suddenly, a hand reached out of the ground and cut into her ankle making her scream in pain. Neart realized what was happening and cut the arm off of the creature making it give a shrill shriek. “Ghouls,” shouted Neart as they sprang up all around them. Seeing an opening Tabitha ran and the others followed. Soon she could no longer take the pain of being on her leg and collapsed. Neart quickly picked her up and put her on the centaur 's back and shifted into a wolf. Neart and the sphinx stayed to fight the Ghouls, giving Tabitha and the centaur time to escape. As I sit inside this cold and dingy home I hear the doorbell from what seems miles away. Making my way to the door I hear a loud voice from the other side of the door “Jake, I finally made it!”. I open the door and she continues “the ride was horrible! Didn’t think I was gonna make it.” This was the last thing I wanted to hear. Deep inside I wished she hadn’t make it. I felt anger and disappointment seeing her. I held it in and gave her a half grind. We stood at the door with what seemed like a century. Her voice then snapped me back to reality. She said, “Are you doing to let me in silly?” I replied “yes, yes of course!”. As we walked together pass the large living room into the kitchen all the memories of this house rushed me. I remember the year she and I played throughout this house. How happy our company our grandparents. Entering the kitchen she leans over, placing her arms around me and giving me a huge hug. Her warmth was what I had sought after for months. Her hugs felt as if our grandmother was once again hugging me. I smiled for the first time in months. At that moment I want to hold her and sob. Although, my resentment and anger didn’t allow me to. She then turned to the house and said “this house feels so warm and full of life.” At that moment I wanted to reply how that could be? Ebon tossed and turned in his room bed that night. After a playing his flute for a little while, he, Ilene, and Grace went to eat downstairs. The food was delicious. The rain fell in torrents, the wind that accompanied the rain echoed to the far-reaching ends of the forest. The white, shiny light provided by the ever-present full moon poured in through the old curtains as if it was calling her to the window. Whatever it was, she felt in the great depths of her soul. Someone was out there. They needed her. They wanted her. But what if it was a trap?

It was like any other show. It sounded familar like as if I had forgotten it. I had forgotten what a voice could sound like. I opened my mouth to try and speak but nothing came out. He looked at me puzzled by how mute I was. 
"Come on it 's not that hard. Don 't tell me you 've forgotten how to talk as well." His voice full of disappointment made me want to speak to him and tell him I could talk.

I sat on the bench outside the apartments as I watched the day we had finished practice and all the girls had plans so I sat here and watched the weather. I had been sad all day so I half expected rain and terrible downpour and cloudy and grey just terrible weather but it wasn 't. Knock, Knock, ding dong, ding dong, Knock, knock, I woke up out of a sound sleep to a frantic knock at the door followed by the ringing of the doorbell. This happened several times before I was coherent enough to realize it was not a dream. The Saturday morning, when I did cleaning I saw a very beautiful box lay on my closet. I knew what is inside it, it is a neck chain John gave to me when we were together. I opened the box and brought the chain out; I started to remember old things…… It was also a Saturday, I went out the house in desperate search of deserted paths, beautiful trees, the smell of grass, the sounds of the sleepy city and something that would make me smile. Autumn was already in the air and I was thinking about how cruel was the world and how impossible was to be happy in it. I’m waiting outside a dark apartment complex parking lot. The monsoon has finally calmed down and know there is light raining and wind. This day has already been an eventful day especially after my tree was uprooted and destroyed my neighbors brick wall. I’m waiting on my brothers wife who called me in a crying panic to hurry over to their apartment. Once I get there ,she has my niece and nephew with her , she asks me to take her to Maryvale Hospital. I asked her what happened and where is my brother, she says he was picked up by the paramedics and on route to Maryvale Hospital to be admitted. She explained to me that he had been sick for weeks and refused to see a doctor. He was complaining about not being able to breathe and feeling nauseous, he thought he had bronchitis. Before she called me he was in the bathroom and wouldn’t allow her to come inside to check on him because he was vomiting. Once he stopped she called his name but there was no answer, she went inside and found him unconscious, she immediately called emergency and started CPR.
