UPDATE 2: My girlfriend came over to my house to spend some time and she decided to stay the night. So we went out on the porch about 6 or 7 pm to talk and to work on the rail Bc it was tilted and I think I know why. But I didn't want to tell her Bc it would frighten her or she would take it as a joke. So while I was out there I had a pistol on me to protect me and her if the skin walker came back and I was hoping so to kill the damn thing but around 10 or 11 my girl friend had a couple of drinks she offered me but I said no Bc if that thing came back I need to kill it or drive it away. She went to bed and I did to so I wouldn't have to face the skin walker or any other night creatures. At 2 am I woke up to kind of a moaning/ screaming and no stop out side witch sounded like my girlfriend and I didn't think twice I put on my jeans and my shirt. …show more content…
It wasn't her so I fell back on the grass it was her but her face was like disfigured and her eyes were pitch black and I remembered about reading how skin walkers could do this and knew if this isn't her than she is in the house and this is when the horror sets in, I felt so afraid ever know I have a
Even after all those twenty years, he still thinks she was gorgeous. Yes, even twelve years ago when she was still maybe, ten? It is not totally her appearance. She looks like a little fairy from the story. She was active and she was beautiful. Her brown hair curls a little and always shines because their owner takes good care of them. Even when it was the middle of the night, Carl can still see her working on herself, from her hair to her toes, literally. Every little details are being considered. She is a quite considerate person, but she doesn’t show it normally in life. She would rather just let others to think that she needs help and then help her, because she was so little, innocent and most importantly beautiful. With tears in her big blue eyes, she can get everything she want.
The darkness is coming in closer now. The king’s throne has fallen. The citizens cry as the walls crumble. The enemy laughs as they swing their swords. Fire blazes across the grounds as bodies fall. Children scream as their parents bleed. The warriors rally. They fail as the arrows whiz by them. They each fall one by one. The royal family flees, but get killed on the way out. Death is everywhere. The earthquake begins and I fall to the ground, arrows flying by. My eyes shut and the pain begins...
She marvelled as her grandson sat admiring as she told them the story of how she and her husband had met. Though she had told it many times she was always fascinated by how attentively Bruno sat, listening as she spoke. 'It was a winters afternoon; wet and windy, quite like this day. I was at his fathers restaurant with my mother. Your grandfather was our waiter that day. He came over to me and smiled, ' said Nathalie tapping her husbands arm as she spoke. 'We stayed all afternoon and by coincidence I might add, we left the restaurant at the same time. Our chauffeur was there but he insisted that he should open the door for such a lovely lady– '
hold on tightly, and he lurched himself into the air flying clear over the river. He gently set Tabitha down on the soft ground and flew back to get the centaur, but the prince of the shifters turned into a small owl and flew over with them. They began traveling again and decide to set up camp on the outskirts of the forest. They enjoyed telling stories and eating their meals. Tabitha then realized that she was freezing, the closer to the mountain they got the cooler the air became. The chattering of her teeth prevented her from sleeping, and suddenly she was embraced by a huge warm body. She jumped and grabbed her knife at first, but relaxed when she realized the Neart had shifted into a bear to keep her warm. When they woke up they gathered their things and began traveling through the forest. Tabitha became cautious when she kept hearing noises behind them and was on guard as well as the others. Suddenly, a hand reached out of the ground and cut into her ankle making her scream in pain. Neart realized what was happening and cut the arm off of the creature making it give a shrill shriek. “Ghouls,” shouted Neart as they sprang up all around them. Seeing an opening Tabitha ran and the others followed. Soon she could no longer take the pain of being on her leg and collapsed. Neart quickly picked her up and put her on the centaur 's back and shifted into a wolf. Neart and the sphinx stayed to fight the Ghouls, giving Tabitha and the centaur time to escape. Once they cleared the
As I sit inside this cold and dingy home I hear the doorbell from what seems miles away. Making my way to the door I hear a loud voice from the other side of the door “Jake, I finally made it!”. I open the door and she continues “the ride was horrible! Didn’t think I was gonna make it.” This was the last thing I wanted to hear. Deep inside I wished she hadn’t make it. I felt anger and disappointment seeing her. I held it in and gave her a half grind. We stood at the door with what seemed like a century. Her voice then snapped me back to reality. She said, “Are you doing to let me in silly?” I replied “yes, yes of course!”. As we walked together pass the large living room into the kitchen all the memories of this house rushed me. I remember the year she and I played throughout this house. How happy our company our grandparents. Entering the kitchen she leans over, placing her arms around me and giving me a huge hug. Her warmth was what I had sought after for months. Her hugs felt as if our grandmother was once again hugging me. I smiled for the first time in months. At that moment I want to hold her and sob. Although, my resentment and anger didn’t allow me to. She then turned to the house and said “this house feels so warm and full of life.” At that moment I wanted to reply how that could be? We have lost the person that would make this house feel alive. Yet, I kept my mouth shut. She continued “grandma would be so proud of you.” “You were always her favorite”. Then the
Ebon tossed and turned in his room bed that night. After a playing his flute for a little while, he, Ilene, and Grace went to eat downstairs. The food was delicious. Grace then said she had to get home. Ebon wondered why, but decided it best not to ask her. He and Ilene went back up to their rooms and went to bed.
The rain fell in torrents, the wind that accompanied the rain echoed to the far-reaching ends of the forest. The white, shiny light provided by the ever-present full moon poured in through the old curtains as if it was calling her to the window. Whatever it was, she felt in the great depths of her soul. Someone was out there. They needed her. They wanted her. But what if it was a trap?
I had glanced over at my mom, her breaths were shallow and light. Her eyes were closed and her hair was still soaked from the shower. She tapped my Dad on the hand,
It was like any other show. A mixture of nervousness and excitement filled the air which, surprisingly, smelled just like the hairspray which hung over the freshly-curled heads of hair of the group of dancers which I stood with. The lights were dim in the side stage wing, allowing me to see only the silhouette of my friend, Jade, who stood impatiently next to me.
In the early morning in the magical forest, we lived in a cabin. The sun gleaming through the leafs on the trees, the water glowing blue as it flows down from the melting snow as it falls into the lake.
Everything was grey wonderful grey. Grey cloudy skies. Life felt still, empty, and quiet outside. So quiet. Then something clicked in my mind and noise filled my head getting rid of the empty feeling and filling it up with life. White windowless houses all side by side for miles. If not for the door a house would be blank. Some house didn 't even have doors. They were the new models of houses. I walked on the street because there are no roads to walk on. The sight of ever lasting green trees came into my view. And I knew I had reached the park. The park full of plants that never died. And there he was. It was the first time I saw him like this. The first time I could see him in real life. I could just barely see his dark almost black eyes under his dark brown bangs. His skin was pale white just like mine. I noticed how his face changed from a distant gaze into a bright lit up smile when he saw me. "You came!" I felt shocked to hear his voice. It sounded familar like as if I had forgotten it. I had forgotten what a voice could sound like. I opened my mouth to try and speak but nothing came out. He looked at me puzzled by how mute I was. "Come on it 's not that hard. Don 't tell me you 've forgotten how to talk as well." His voice full of disappointment made me want to speak to him and tell him I could talk. "I..." His face perked up. "Go on." He encouraged me. "I... I can talk." I was surprised by my own voice. It had been a long time since I needed to speak. "I
I sat on the bench outside the apartments as I watched the day we had finished practice and all the girls had plans so I sat here and watched the weather. I had been sad all day so I half expected rain and terrible downpour and cloudy and grey just terrible weather but it wasn 't. It was beautiful the sun was shining and it was slightly cloudy so it was perfect 65 degrees out I looked at the sky and just sat my head on my knee I wanted to cry but maybe my eyes had dried out from crying I pulled my knees up and I just sat in silent as the chilled air wrapped around me I just watched the empty space for what felt like ever. I still watched the sky as a car pull up in front of me I heard the door open and close and soon there was a person in
Knock, Knock, ding dong, ding dong, Knock, knock, I woke up out of a sound sleep to a frantic knock at the door followed by the ringing of the doorbell. This happened several times before I was coherent enough to realize it was not a dream. I sat up and place my feet on the side of the bed placing them in the slippers that I slip on and off when I am going to bed. I could hear a voice behind the knocks but it frightened me when I looked at the clock. I gaited like a duck to the front door because my left foot would often become stiff when not in use for an extended length of time. Although afraid to answer I decided to listen to the voice on the other side of the door before calling the police. When my mind realizes who was the owner
The Saturday morning, when I did cleaning I saw a very beautiful box lay on my closet. I knew what is inside it, it is a neck chain John gave to me when we were together. I opened the box and brought the chain out; I started to remember old things…… It was also a Saturday, I went out the house in desperate search of deserted paths, beautiful trees, the smell of grass, the sounds of the sleepy city and something that would make me smile. Autumn was already in the air and I was thinking about how cruel was the world and how impossible was to be happy in it. It is not that I was broken hearted by I thought that my patience has come to its end. I looked at the sky and set at a bench, which was John and I usually set and talked dreams together. My eye got indistinct and tears flowed along my canthus. I looked up the sky, it was cloudy and gloomy, the cloud looked thick, gray, and muddy. I could not see where did the sun was, maybe the sun is afraid of the cold. Without the sun, the city was like the old tree that has lost its soul did not have any vigor.
I’m waiting outside a dark apartment complex parking lot. The monsoon has finally calmed down and know there is light raining and wind. This day has already been an eventful day especially after my tree was uprooted and destroyed my neighbors brick wall. I’m waiting on my brothers wife who called me in a crying panic to hurry over to their apartment. Once I get there ,she has my niece and nephew with her , she asks me to take her to Maryvale Hospital. I asked her what happened and where is my brother, she says he was picked up by the paramedics and on route to Maryvale Hospital to be admitted. She explained to me that he had been sick for weeks and refused to see a doctor. He was complaining about not being able to breathe and feeling nauseous, he thought he had bronchitis. Before she called me he was in the bathroom and wouldn’t allow her to come inside to check on him because he was vomiting. Once he stopped she called his name but there was no answer, she went inside and found him unconscious, she immediately called emergency and started CPR.
