Furthermore, Sergio Jones alibes would be the liberian who remembers waking him up and escorting him out of the Denver Public Library(Schlessman Branch). At the moment, Sergio Jones does not have a direct motive toward killing John. Other evidence regarding Sergio would be that he was in a lab group with John, he was not in contact with John outside of class, the time he left the Denver Public Library, and the type of dog he has. Additionally, Bill Apple the moment doesn't have an albis of him leaving the Aurora Central Library. Investigator Sam Reilly will also be called to testify, in that he was the first investigator on the scene. Shortly after the murder, Officer Reilly went to the defendant’s home at 2435 Damen Street, apt #2B and forced down Mr. John Hudsons’ and Dale Buckner’s door. While at the apartment, Officer Reilly Recovered a .38 revolver (matching the gun from the crime scene), a black leather jacket, and a newly registered Black Cadillac Sedan; which matched the description of the getaway car. Due to officer Reilly’s work, pertinent details of the defendant’s background and belongings have been brought to trial and will help us prove that the defendants did, beyond a reasonable doubt murder, and assist in murdering Mrs. Sara Lazar. On July 28th of 1984, Jennifer Thompson-Cannino, a 22-year-old college student and another woman was both brutally raped at knife point. During the attack, Thompson was attentive of her attacker’s appearance and anything else notable so if she survived the attack, she could assure the rapist would be caught and punished (prosecuted). Within a few days of the attack, the Burlington Police Department of North Carolina had determined a suspect through the composite Thompson made and arrested Ronald J. Cotton on August 1, of 1984. Thompson was able to identify Cotton under photo identification and then successfully chose him again in the physical line-up. The second victim, however did not chose Cotton in either of the lineups.
After twenty minutes, Jennifer narrowed down the men to two possible suspects. There were certain characteristics of both men that matched the sketch and what Jennifer could remember several days ago when the incident occurred. Jennifer took a leap of faith and chose man number five, which was in fact Ronald Cotton. The authorities confirmed Cotton was who they also believed was the intruder that night. After that day at the station, Jennifer was convinced she had made the proper choice.

Talking all of the information that we have collected my group and I have come to the conclusion that the suspect that killed John Lee on the CCA Lab Prep room was Bill Apple, a CCA student and the victim's lab partner. From Figure 5, we can see that Brandy Smith could have driven to the crime scene in order to be present when the crime was committed. He left the Aurora Central Library at 9:37, and with his average drive time being twelve minutes,he would have arrived at the CCA campus around 9:49. Giving him enough time to find John Lee and kill him around 10 PM, since that was the reported time of death. Furthermore, based on the fiber analysis Bill Apple could have been at the crime scene. This is because H-1A shows many characteristics
