Deciding whether or not I should agree with dogs being allowed in our work place was very tricky for me. I appreciate your desire to make sure every employee feels comfortable and stress-free at work. Also, I adore dogs and would love to able to have my furry-friend alongside me all day long. However, after looking at the pro's and con's, I'd have to say I do not agree with this idea.

All service animals must go through a period of training to ensure that they are ready for the task of continuously being in a public setting with large crowds of people. Although it would be nice for dog owners to bring their pet to work with them sounds like a good idea some employees might be alergic to the dogs. In addition to being alergic some employees could have had past experiences with a dog, like being bitten or chased by one and may be anxious around dogs. Furthurmore, dogs are usually very unsanitary and could spread bacteria or diseases throughout the workplace just by licking.

I am quite the animal lover and I believe this idea should be well thought over. Not everyone would agree with this idea to have your dog in the work place do to alergies or they could even be afraid of your dog. To help

First of all some people are not comfortable around them.Wether that has to do with past relations of a dog or simply have a phobie of being around a dog.Sheding for a dog can be messy.In a working inviroment that would cause sanitation problems.Also dogs could easily in a work inviroment can chew on things that are not meant to be chewed on causing health risk for the dog and the staff.

I am apposed to anyone bringing a dog to work. My opinion is based on many factors including workplace and owner liability, a proffesional environment and the possibility for health or sanitary concerns arrising.

Personally, I like dogs and currently have two living in my home. However, that does not mean that i would just love to have them in my workplace. My job consist of other employees that or in the office alone with me that I have to also consider upon making this decision. My co-workers may be allergic to dogs. However, some may just be terrified of dogs. I don't think that having them to submit to being in the presents of dogs on the job would be professional.

Like in most jobs around the world consentration is very important, and having dogs in the work place would only make that harder to do. You have to feed them, take them outside, and give them attention constantly. It would be more stressful trying to do all of that and get your work done at the same time than to just leaving them at home while you work.

Although, there are some dog-owning employees who may benefit from bringing their pet to work; there are some that would not. Not everyone is able to be around animals. Allergies take a enormous toll on many people. I know that being around any animal that sheds fur can make allergies flare. Which in toll, will make employees miserable at the workplace.

I think alot of people do believe that takeing there animal with them to work is are would be a good idea and would improve there workplace,but i don't think a bring your dog to work program is a good idea. My first reason is not all people can be around dogs are anyother animals due to allergy's. Some people are also affraid of dogs because they have had a bad experience with a dog mabe had one bit them are worse. Dogs at work with you would more than likely cause alot of stress mental and possibly physical as well because they get to trying to play are something and knock things over causeing damage to office equipment. I also believe dogs are unsanitary and spread germs by licking those around them.

Bringing a dog to work might sound fun and relaxing, but there is also some disadvantages of having your dog at work. Yes, they may be cute, but they can easily distract you and others. Some people might even be allergic. Most dogs need an environment that has open space and roaming room, not some closed office. Taking your dog to work might be fun and all, but can be very complicated.

In the end, I support the "bring Your Dog to Work" program. I think it will have a positive affect on the office and the employees. Also, if the program is put into effect, it's not manditory that the employee bring their dog to work. If the owner believes that it's not a great idea, they can leave they're dog at home. It's their choice. Overall, I believe bring your dog to work will creat a more relaxed and productive environment in the office.
