Life is like life as you know it. I am pretty noted that you are very perplexed in what I am saying, probably even baffle as you might say. In reality, what I mean is that a person is very comparable to nature itself . Where we are determined to have happiness, like the flowers rising and sprouting every time they see their friend the sun. We are determined to change for the better, like a caterpillar cocooning to be part of the next immense change, a butterfly. We are determined to never give up, like a bear grasping for fish in the running river to just to eat. The bear does not stop till it gets what it needs. We are determined to love and trust, like a mother loving her child and her child, giving trust to their mother to take care of them. You know life is like life as you know it, but how?
How do you determine happiness? Well I do not know how you determine it, but I do. As I said before, it is like flowers rising and sprouting to see its friend the sun. Every person has a different idea on what happiness is. It doesn’t have to be just one simple thing, it could be an abundant of things together that creates happiness. What is happiness? The answers are endless, some people finding something more relatable than others. In the United States, we are given the freedom of speech, and everyone has his or her own opinion. Based on opinion it makes the world a different place. We are not all the same which is better. Happiness is something that can be taken it different ways, like the way it looks and feels but scientist and personal experiences show how it really is. Personally what makes me the happiest is on sports. Playing gives me a sense of something that nothing else can. But my roommate for example her happiness is reading.
So happiness is officially defined as feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. Sounds pretty straight forward I thought, but then I started to look at the big picture. In a day there are twenty four hours and I spend about 7 at school, two after school in the musical, 2 doing homework, 5 doing random but necessary things like driving or making food,6 sleeping and the last 2 I would bet I waste by daydreaming. But how happy am I? While I enjoy school and musical most of the time I wanted to see if I was really happy. To test this I would stop myself every hour and evaluate my emotions.
