My favorite constellation is the Little Dipper because its so underrated, but its just as good as the big dipper. By the name i hope you can tell that it looks like a little dipper spoon thing that you would cook with. So yeah. Spoons are cool. And I'm underrated so i can really relate to the little dipper, you know? Plus the little dipper has the north star which is a shining star and I'm a shining star so hah. There are no myths about the little dipper, but apparently it can also be seen as a bear just so you know. Now ill just make up my own myth because obviously the little dipper is awesome and needs one. So once upon a time there was a family of giants that lived in Narnia. The husband and wife loved to cook until they had a baby child.
1. I've chosen the constellation "Draco." I chose this one because it was the constellation that my mother always talked about when I was little. She'd tell me stories about it's stars and she'd always let me stay up late to look at it. Draco is the 8th largest constellation and has 9 stars, the brightest of which is Gamma Draconis. It belongs to the Ursa Major family.
When fields of science are being discussed, most people are going to immediately think of fields like biology, chemistry, and physics. It is quite strange that these fields are the most popular. This is because biology, chemistry, and physics can be combined into one single field. That field would be astronomy. While most may think that astronomy is just viewing stars through a telescope, there is an immense amount of more complicated ideas associated with astronomy. What with the fastest speeds, highest masses, major chemical compositions, and even the idea of sustaining life, astronomy has to be one of the most complex fields of science. Without astronomy, many things about the life of humans on earth would be a mystery, not to mention where
I have chosen the constellation Draco. I chose it because it is in the form of a dragon and dragons are my favorite mythological creatures. It is located in the far northern sky. It's name is Latin for dragon. It can be see all year from the North.
I have chosen the constellation Orion. I have loved this giant hunter in our skies since I was a child of about 6 or 7 years old. I first noticed this particular group of stars when my elder little brother was born. I can recall that night as if it were last night. It was a cold night in the middle of October, I was leaving the hospital with my father that night, asking about my new brother and hoping he would be able to come home soon. I recall vividly looking up and wanting to ask the gods and the stars themselves to look after my new little brother and make him well enough, and noticed this beautiful, bright group of stars and asking my father what it was.he said it was Orion,a great hunter and if i wanted to know more about it he could help
1. I have chosen the constellation Scorpion, because it's my friends constellation. Scorpion is a constellation to the Southern sky dome, lying in the galaxy, between the right ascension 15u44m and 17u55m and between -8° and -46° declination. The following stars are part of the constellation; Antares, Acrab (or Elacrab), Dschubba, Sargas, Jabbah, Girtab, Iclill and Alniyat.
The Constellation I chose is Lupus, also called „the Wolf“. It’s located in the southern sky and was one of the 48 constellations, which were listed by Ptolemy, a second century astronomer. Previously it was an asterism associated with its neighbour constellation Centaurus, but belongs to the now 88 official constellations. It has nine main stars, 41 Bayer stars and five stars with planets. Lupus is surrounded by six different constellations: Hydra, Scorpius, Norma, Circinus, Libra and Centaurus.
I have chosen the constellation Orion also known as the Hunter. I chose this constellation because it means to me that no one is forgotten, there is no oblivion even for those who deserve it. Orion is visible everywhere in the world as it sits on the celestial equator. It is very recognisable in the sky and all its stars are quite bright which means it is a very prominent constellation.
My favourite constellation is Orion, or the hunter, as it's the first one I learned how to identify when I was a kid. Orion is easiest to see from November through to February, to the south-west if you are in the Northern Hemisphere, or the north-west if you are in the southern one. It's most marking feature is the belt, three bright stars in a short line. Most of the stars that make up the constellation or blue giants or supergiants.
I choose orion as my favorite constellation, at first i choose it because it is sirius black middle name, and i do like the name,so simple and elegance. But then I try to search about orion and it is a pleasure to find i choose a right constellation. Do you know that BIBLE mention orion 3 times?? Do you know how cool is that? Do you know that you can see orion bare eyes?yes i believe you do,professor.
My favorite constellation is Cassiopeia. I have been a fan of Greek myths all my life. The tale of Andromeda and Perseus has always been one of my favorites in which Cassiopeia was Andromeda's mother. I like Cassiopeia's story as it's a good tale for teaching humility.
My favorite constellation is the Ophiuchus (also known by its Latin name Serpentarius). It lies in the northern sky and is, in fact, the 11th largest constellation. It belongs to the Hercules family of constellation and contains seven Messier objects and a number of notable stars. It is my favorite because of the myth associated with it, which I learned during a camping trip from a classmate who wanted to explore the outer space and knew much about the stars. Years later, that campfire story is one of my most vivid memories.
My favorite Constellation is Canis Major, the Great Dog. It is located in the southern sky and it contains Sirius, the Dog Star. I chose this constellation because of the fact that it contains the Dog Star. I also like this constellation because it looks like it is following or chasing Orion. Canis Major was catalogued by the Greek Astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd Century. This Constellations is the 43rd largest constellation, taking up an area of 380 square degrees.
I choose the constellation "Gemini the twins". I choose this constellation because I think it's pretty interesting to learn about why did they put that name to those star's and the past. It's pretty cool for me to learn this too because my sign is Geminis and I want to now the significant of the constellation.
In my humble opinion, all of the constellations are beautiful. But none of the constellations attract me more than the Gemini constellation. I wish I had an elaborate story as to why i'm so attracted to the Gemini constellation, but truth be told, Gemini is my favorite because i'm a Gemini! The Gemini constellation was first discovered by Ptolemy, a 2nd century AD astronomer. Gemini means 'Twins' in Latin. Without a telescope, it is made up of 85 visible stars. The bordering constellations are Lynx, Auriga, Taurus, Orion, Monoceros, Canis Minor, and Cancer.
The constellation that I have chosen as my favorite is the constellation of Cancer, the crab. I chose this constellation because my zodiac sign is cancer (which is, of course, a muggle tradition- your sign is based off your birthday). Many, if not all, of the zodiac signs came from constellations, including cancer, so I chose the cancer constellation because of its specific meaning to me. The constellation is simple, constructed of only five stars, which are connected at the middle.
