Based on Lullaby lab research, students yawn 10 times per hour. Then lullaby lab does the investigation to 101 students from different schools to find the cause, and finally they found causes of yawning phenomenon.
The first cause is because they stay up at night. they usually stay up until 5 a.m. to do their homework, playing a game, or social media. Second, it's because of boredom. Most of them feeling bored because they don't like the lessons that their teacher teach. The third cause is because of temperature. Some students too sensitive to the low temperature from the air conditioner, and it makes them sleepy.
The last cause is because they feeling exhausted. It's because they do the part-time job until night and because of too much homework.

The fact that these students are falling asleep in class because it is too early in the morning is not okay. We need to try to figure out a way to fix this problem. Reasons why our students are falling asleep in class is mostly because they are not getting the amount of sleep they need. Knowing that we need about 8.5 to 10 hours of sleep is incredible. If we changed our school hours later, maybe our students would achieve more academics in school.
A teens biological clock doesn’t match their school schedule. By relaxation students tend to go out and cruise to listen to music and drive around town with their friends or couple. During lunch there a lot of students that go out racing during the lunch hour which is very unsafe it also happens right after school. They go out racing in the main streets that can cause harm or even some students that get pulled over and make them late to class. Also some students like to go out to get fresh air or even exercise I mean I don't exercise but other students might. There are some students who can’t stay inside the building for long because they might need fresh outside air to keep their minds going and be able to concentrate more. Getting their minds of school is another reason why students go off campus. Every student has different lives and we don’t know what happens at their house of even in their lives. Some students suffer from depression we might not know why but school might be one of the reasons and some kids are feeling like they are under pressure. There is a myriad of reasons which explain why students become sleep deprived during the school timings. For example, students are busy and have to juggle many things like jobs, extracurricular activities, chores, and homework after school (Epstein and Mardon, 2). We pressuring them into doing everything that they can but yet not use technology an hour before they go to bed, we are having them do exactly what we are telling them not to do.
