The MBA program is a new field of study to me, as I have no experience in this filed. I may have encountered some of the aspects of MBA through work, but I am not able to define any of it in a professional way.
My first goal is to obtain a MBA degree with a high GPA, as I am willing to put all the effort and time needed to achieve this goal, and earn the degree by the end of June, 2017.
My second goal is to build the skills (project management, marketing, production, finance, organization behavior, being able to identify and evaluate a company's goals, and mission) that I need, and is required to effectively manage a business. My goal is to become a well trained

How will you use your strengths as a learner to be an effective contributor to the learning of your peers in the MBA program? b. Based on your experience in the workplace, what does it mean to manage business performance and what issues can impact business performance?
To be an effective contributor to the learning of my peers in the MBA program, I will share my knowledge and my area of strengths with my peers, providing them with positive and negative feedback, as it is very important, and critical to improve ourselves.
I will also be active and interact with my peers throughout discussions, as another way to contribute towards their learning, for we all have different areas of expertise and backgrounds.
Researching the information, and read multiple sources before sharing any information with my peers, will contribute to their learning as well.
Based on your experience in the workplace, what does it mean to manage business
If a pupil is given the opportunity to discuss their learning either with a teacher or one of their peers then they will develop a deeper understanding of their learning which can build confidence, raise their self esteem and motivate them as students.
A central part in developing your competencies will be active and thoughtful contributions to the class discussion. Your contributions will be critical to your learning and the learning of your classmates. EVERYONE is expected to participate in each class session. I usually ask for volunteers, but I also cold call people throughout the class session.

To achieve my goal of being the Business/Divisional Manager, I need to have an MBA degree which is one thing that I have already started and will surely be completing successfully within three years’ time i.e. end 2015. And I am already having the management experience of 6 years now. With 4 years of experience as a Head of the department, and that too with reputable aviation firm in South Africa.
A year and half has passed since I’ve completed my undergraduate degree. In this time, I’ve had a chance to reflect on my career goals. I am now ready to earn my MBA in health care management. With this degree, I will be able to accomplish my career goals and objectives. I plan to use my master 's degree to help me pursue a career in health care management. After this course, I made some progress on my SMART goals. With the knowledge I obtained from this class, I gained a better understand of coaching, motivating, and managing my team. Apply concepts from performance management, I am able to motivate my subordinates and allow them to improve within themselves. I also learned to manage my time more effectively.
