What is a teen activist? A teen activist is a teenager who wants to help people or animals for a cause. What I think about all teen activists is that they all fight for what they believe in. They go to extensive lengths to help people to help us. They don't do this because they have to they do it because they want to do it. They don't care that the odds were against them or they have very little chance of succeeding. They do what they want and the do it right. They are like the voice of the people fighting up against poverty and all the other struggles in the world. Most activists go through a lot like Malala but I won't get to deep into that yet. They all have the courage to do what they do.
Hey! have you ever heard of Alex Lin, Faye Carey, and Iqbal Masih are all philanthropist because they are trying to make a difference in the world. For example, an activist named Iqbal believed in education for kids. He gave speeches all over the world to show his beliefs on education rights. Many people got inspired to help his belief that everyone should have education rights. Another activist who gave speeches is Malala Yousafzai, to tell people that everybody(especially girls), should have education no matter his or her circumstances of life, genes, or religion. Her speeches inspired many people to help kids get education. “One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”, she
They may have even risked their lives for their cause. Iqbal Masih is an example of this. On “YouTube,” some teenagers explained how Iqbal was sold at four years old to a carpet factory. Iqbal was labored there until he was ten and escaped. He was angry and started giving speeches around the world trying to end the child labor. He was targeted by the carpet industry because of this. Even though it wasn’t safe for him to leave and go see his family, he still went back home. Unfortunately, he was shot and killed in front of his grandmother's house. This shows that he was very brave and cared a lot about making the world a better place. Malala Yousafzai is another brave activist. Malala believed that women had just as many rights as men did, and believed that women deserved an education. According to the Website, “BBC,” “One year ago Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head by Taliban gunmen - her "crime", to have spoken up for the right of girls to be educated. The world reacted in horror, but after weeks in intensive care Malala survived.” Malala could've just stayed at home and protected herself but she went on with life and made it out of her injury
Throughout the span of the human race, many people and organization have stood up for the right of others. Some scientists raced against time to produce vaccines that saved millions if not billions of lives. On the other hand, many speakers traveled across the globe to promote individual’s freedom and rights. In wartime, more people regardless of their backgrounds worked tirelessly to save lives of many individuals who faced genocide. Undoubtedly, history has foretold that at any moment in time, people are working tremendously so that other people may have a better world to live. Regarding education, Malala Yousafzai, known as Malala, has put all her efforts in promoting education to every child living on earth. She was a target of an insurgent group, but now she is the savior of many children. Thanks to her works, many children now have an education which they have never once dreamed they would have. Her moral courage will be a legacy that she leaves for humans.

Teen activists always have something that they are fighting for. Something that they believe in so strongly. One example of a teen activist is Malala Yousafzai. A group of terrorists called the Taliban came to Swat Valley, Pakistan where she lived. The Taliban believed that women should not be educated. This is significant because, they would bomb schools who allowed girls, but, still Malala continued speaking out about women's education. During an interview with Jon Stewart, Malala said “why don’t we stand up for our rights?” She really believed in something and she was willing to fight for it. Another teen activist is Faye Carey. She is against animal abandonment. She has a Facebook page where she advertises puppies that have ended up in the pound, on her page and tries to give them a new home. Although, she has not done anything really big yet, she is inspiring others around the world and still making a big difference. Alex Lin is also a teen activist. With her practices, beliefs and values, Malala Yousafzai, a young female activist, has contributed significantly to build a just, inclusive, and healthy society. Through people, religion and spirituality find expression in diverse ways in society. At a young age, Yousafzai has taught people how to live their lives through her actions. Likewise, Yousafzai offers influential messages for the people in today’s world to follow.
Malala Yousafzai is a young girl that is helping 60 million girls get the dream they have forever wanted, which is receiving an education. She started the Malala Fund when she realized that girls in Pakistan were not only the ones missing school, but also girls all around the world because of either their culture or strict rules. She fights daily against the Taliban, which is a radical Islamic group that does not believe women should play leadership roles in society and be given opportunities in education (New Venture Fund). Malala strives to get girls all around the world to attend school. Her mission is a great example of what it means to serve one another.
