Activism is is the action or policy of campaigning to bring about political or social change. That enough is hard to do, but imagine doing that as a teenager. Teen activism is fighting for what you believe in, making a difference, and making yourself heard. Teen activism is seeing a problem in your community and fighting to fix that problem. Teen activism takes courage, guts, determination, integrity, and so much more. Teen activists are special in the world, they do amazing things by choice. Some think “that's not our problem they can deal with it” or “ someone else is dealing with it “. Malala, Alex Libby, and Craig K could not ignore what was happening to our world or themselves. Malala is a great activist for our world. For example, she has a big part of the inspiration for education. In her homeland, Taliban told girls they weren’t allowed to go to school or dance, play outside, sing etc. She believed girls had much of a right to go to school as boys do. Malala started to go to the boys school as one of her own rights. At this point, the Malala become a target to the Taliban. And she feeds the girls who are hungry for knowledge. Malala is a true modern day prophet and lives a life that reflects the works of mercy. As Malala says when talking about standing up for herself, “I said to myself, Malala you must be brave. You must not be afraid of anyone. You are only trying to get an education. You are not committing a crime.”.

They can broadcast their opinions in many ways, including social and political activism. With social activism, they can participate in activities that they can have a voice in, although still led by adults. They can also partake in political activism, where students, mainly at school, try to make a difference. They spread their activism in a variety of ways, including social media, where others can see their progress and what they post, and video blogging, which has a similar use.
