Malala Yousafzai, one of the best women’s education activist ever, always stood up for what was right and always will. Malala has been threw a lot over her life. She was shot and almost died, but because of that she has become an even better person. Malala has won many awards, one being the Nobel Peace Prize. Malala is and most likely will be the best women’s education activist ever.
Malala Yousafzai’s childhood wasn’t the best. Malala, born on July 12, 1997, she’s now 18 years old, she was born in Mingora, Pakistan. Her parent’s are Tor Pekai Yousafzai (mother) and Ziauddin Yousafzai (father). Malala lived where not many girls had dads like her. Malala’s dad encouraged her to have an education. Therefore, she saw what other girls/women didn’t. At 11 years old Malala was already basically a women’s education activist. A year later, she started writing an anonymous blog for the BBC. She wrote about her educational life and her feelings on the Taliban taking over her valley.

She was in a coma for about a week. Malala’s organs were failing, and had developed an infection. Malala’s father was convinced that she would die, he told the village to start preparing for her funeral. After, a couple days she was moved to a hospital in Birmingham in the United Kingdom, while still in a coma. This hospital was special for military injuries. She soon came out of the coma and did treatments for what seems like forever. Malala was released from the hospital on January 3, 2013. Malala soon started writing a book called “I am Malala.” After, about two years Malala came out with a movie called “He Named Me Malala.” This movie brought in $2.7 million dollars.
