Every once in a while my family and I have a family gathering in a fine restaurant. Last family gathering, we were looking for a restaurant that offers a warm atmosphere, good service, and great food, nothing more and nothing less. Granite City Food & Brewery located in West Acres Regional shopping center, met our expectation and was on point. We had a great experience eating out and really got what we paid for. It provides a warm, elegant atmosphere, cheerful and friendly customer service, and delicious, mouth-watering food. Restaurants around the town offer a variety of food and services, but not all of them offer a warm, inviting atmosphere like Granite City Food & Brewery. When customers first walk in the door, a friendly hostess greets and welcomes them in. The aroma of the food makes diners hungry more than they already are. There is a bar area and a big dining area on the left. On one side of the restaurant there are a four big beer tanks where they make beer. From the dining area diners can see the chef and head cooks cooking delicious cuisines through a half glass wall between the dining area and the kitchen. The wood and stone textured walls with the lighting effect give the restaurant a warm, casual atmosphere. The walls are decorated with brown, empty beer bottles displayed on the wall shelves. The decorations and the inviting atmosphere at Granite City Food & Brewery were exactly what we were looking for. However, Granite City Food & Brewery is
The restaurant’s owner and matriarch is a Certified Sommelier and trained chef as is her daughter. They have been wowing visitors to their casual upscale bar and restaurant since 2004.
The study begins by explaining how much the residents of Gourmand love good food. They love food so much that that over time, a commission of distinguished chefs had decided that not any one should be capable of opening up a restaurant. If a restaurant was to be open, a chef would have to have 21 years of training, attend a prestigious school, and obtain a license to become a chef. These guidelines would ensure that when a resident would go to a restaurant, the food would be good. The first-class quality of food consequently rose the prices of restaurant meals to become very expensive.
Walls and shelves of different treats, and Buc-ee’s even presents its own brand of Beaver Nuggets - a sweet, crunchy corn snack. And in each store, a counter the size of a small New York City apartment is overly stocked with 30 flavors beef jerky, smoked sausages and other cured meats. When standing in that area, you can smell the Bohemian garlic beef jerky, which had a pleasant salty pungency, and the cherry maple, which is a lot more subtly sweet than it sounds. Next to that, there’s a quick-service restaurant, prepping many dishes, ranging from smoked brisket to Tex-Mex tacos. Looking at the options of spicy pickled quail eggs to sweet apple pies, the food provided at Buc-ee’s is more than enough to eat for a small break on the road. The varieties and large portions of food seemed to have a meaning beyond consumption itself. As people carry to go boxes and not even open or taste some of the food during their stop, the food loses its meaning of being eaten and gains a meaning of being a souvenir. The cultural food alone provokes customers to want to keep these seemingly authentic, home cooked items, perhaps to share or give to others as novelties and gifts. With that, Buc-ee’s intends to provide more than necessary.
This paper will introduce a product and service which operates in the U.S. with the intent to expand within foreign markets eventually. The service that I chose is a current service in the food service industry that does exist but would benefit from enhancing it; there are market trends for the new service that would definitely satisfy potential customers’ needs and wants once the idea is brought to their attention. The goal is to bring the feel of the city’s fine dining and lounging experience to areas outside the city without having to travel far or spend more. The service is an
The atmosphere of RAPIDS is unique, but is constant throughout any RAPIDS facility. When one enters the restaurant, the sounds of a live piano jazz band greets the customer along with a hostess who will either seat them at the wine bar or at a table close to the live piano jazz band according to the customer’s preference. RAPIDS strives to keep this atmosphere adherently the same throughout all the entities. RAPIDS’s owners are aware that delectable food is not the only product consumed, but also the ambiance that the customer’s enjoy impacts the success of every RAPIDS entity
A special place is my job at Moe’s Southwest Grill. People go there to eat or work. The customers are greeted with a friendly “Welcome to Moe’s” from the staff. Moe’s is located in a remodeled building near the Carilion Clinic and Dr. Pepper Park. The building has four walls of red and brown bricks and a tin roof. Ten clear glass window panes and eight doors make this a unique building. The water hose gives a drink to the thirsty plants growing in the hot sun. The growing green and healthy plants in the mulch are a welcome to the customer. On the outdoor patio, dim lights provide the diners with a romantic atmosphere and a view of the Roanoke Star at night. During the day, umbrellas protect the diners from the sun while enjoying nature during lunch. Pull open the heavy door and
Here, we first discuss the Product Design and Quality: When Hard Rock Cafe is founded, first-rate, but moderately priced casual American fare, warm service and ever-present rock 'n' roll music and sensibility, it was initially decorated with an eye toward eclectic American. What started as an American dinner in the heart of London has blossomed into a way of life. Now, social norms and preferences often suggest some tweaking of menus for local taste. The following is several examples:
The menu is large and plastered to the wall right above a table that consist of aluminum jars that hold plastic utensils, silver napkin holders filled to the top, and a Cola fountain with about eight different drink options. Additionally, there are three large containers containing three different teas. The tables that are scattered around for family and friends to eat and are all of different shapes, but around a consistent size excluding one or two tables intended for a person or two. All of the tables have the same chairs making it feel more uniform yet still unique with the set up. Scattered throughout the place there is two or three tall black plastic plug-in fans around the restaurant, and two large black

Belgium is known for a culture of high-quality beer and this concept was formulated by an electrical engineer from Fort Collins, Colorado. The electrical engineer, Jeff Lebesch, was traveling through Belgium on his fat-tired mountain bike when he envisioned the same high-quality beer in Colorado. Lebesch acquired the special strain of yeast used in Belgium and took it back to his basement in Colorado and the experimentation process was initiated. His friends were the samplers and when they approved the beer it was marketed. In 1991, Lebesch opened the New Belgium Brewing Company (NBB) with his wife, Kim Jordan, as the marketing director. The first beer and continued bestseller, Fat Tire Amber Ale, was named after the bike ride in

Let us set up the scene, a quaint almost old fashion café, saloon style atmosphere. Enter left stage, wood deck, and walk up counter, and smiling faces is the ambiance of this little piece of heaven. You can expect a welcome to a real mom and pop restaurant earthy feel. When entering this western realm you are hit with the most delicious mouthwatering smells, tantalizing the senses.
Is it a store or a restaurant? Peering through the large picture windows you would see nine separate, industrial, kitchen stations; one thing is missing though, there are no ovens. At each station there are two recipes with directions displayed and all the necessary ingredients are enclosed in the fridge’s compartments. Measuring utensils are color coated and each color symbolizes a particular measurement. The main ingredients receive a color-coated utensil and this eliminates some of the measuring confusion. The stores are decorated in a bright orange paint with blue accent through out the store. Bright, green aprons and colorful bandanas are a must for all customers while dishing in the store. Let’s Dish is a store that provides a service of convenient meal preparation at an affordable price. Dishing is a delicious way to prepare healthy, homemade dinners in no time. Three services are offered at varying price points.
The bar is quite large with 2 service areas with huge selection of beers and spirits also showcasing a wine selection area. The bar has a nice marble counter, which is complimented with a sleek scattered tile design.
After the hostesses’ seat the customers, waiters run rapidly back and forth from the kitchen to their section of customers to take orders, serve food, and refill drinks. Also, the bartenders’ try to make the alcoholic drinks not only for the people sitting at the bar, but also the people sitting everywhere else in the restaurant. Then, the Chefs’ in the kitchen are stressfully preparing and cooking the meals in a limited amount of time.
