Mark Elliot Zuckerberg was born into a Jewish family on May 14th, 1984 in the suburbs of New York. He was the second born of four and was the only boy. Zuckerberg’s parents, Edward and Karen, did well financially. Karen was a psychiatrist and Edward was a dentist with his own Dental Practice next door to their home. Zuckerberg was already interested in programming by the time he reached elementary school and received his first computer at the age of 10. Zuckerberg’s father began teaching him Atari basic programming when he was 12 years old and Zuckerberg took that knowledge to create a messenger that he named, “ZuckNet”. This messenger connected his computer to the dental office computer and the receptionist was able to transfer a message to Edward to notify him when a patient arrived to the office. Zuckerberg admired coding on the computer and he not only developed communication tools but he also developed games from his friends’ drawings. Zuckerberg did this as a hobby but his father saw more potential and proceeded to hire David Newman, a computer tutor, who gave Zuckerberg private lessons. Zuckerberg was the stereotypical “nerd” as a child, he had a Star Wars themed bar mitzvah, he enjoyed fencing, and he programmed computers in his spare time. High school came and Zuckerberg wrote an artificially intelligent media player Synapse for MP3-playlists, this device studied the preferences of a user and was able to generate an entirely new playlist from guessing what the user

We are going to discuss the beginning of Facebook as an innovative start-up, the role of Mark’s different partners: Eduardo Saverin and Sean Parker in the development of the website, and the depositions and testimony over the ownership and business dealing with various lawsuits of Facebook from the Winklevoss twins.
"The Internet is becoming the town square for the global village of tomorrow." This was a famous quote that Bill Gates had said in which he acknowledges the importance of technology in the future. Gates began to show interest in computer programing in a yearly stage of his life. After two years of college he dropped out and cofounded Microsoft with his associate Paul Allen. Microsoft then transformed the ways people communicated, were educated, and recorded documents. Even now we use this product to benefit our educational and personal lives. After achieving these new technological advancements with Paul Allen, he enrolled back into college to then graduate from Lakeside with a high score on his SAT.
Bill Gates has always been known for being one of the world’s most successful man. It is largely known that he, with Steve Ballmer, created Microsoft—both the software and the company. Microsoft is one of the world’s most popular computer software companies that was created by Gates and Ballmer in 1972—at least that’s when the idea was formed. But what many people don’t know or don’t realize is that fact that both Ballmer and Gates were college dropouts. They weren’t dropouts from just any college, though, but from Harvard University. Now, Gates often jokes about how he is, according to Crimson, “Harvard’s most successful dropout”. In his 2007 Harvard Commencement Address, Gates uses three key factors to make his speech a greatly memorable one. He used humor, seriousness, and motivation all in an adequate way that helped his speech be one for the books.
The early seventies marks an important time in the growth of the computer industry. Appropriately so, Elon Musk was born in 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa. In early adolescence he honed his computer programming skills. At the age of twelve he sold his first software design, and by seventeen he had immigrated from South Africa and started attending Queen`s College in Canada, to pursue his interests in technology. Soon after he ventured to The University of Pennsylvania to earn his undergraduate`s degree in economics and bachelor`s degree in physics. Musk steadfastly pursued his interest in the upcoming world of high-speed Internet. First he created
