With the current usage of electronics, many of the children are not learning how to express themselves on an emotional level. Children who have been spending more time in front of screens have shown a decrease in the ability to focus on tasks that are more complex. This has made it harder for the kids to focus in school, and that can lead to failing grades that affect their schooling (Alderman, Lesley). Another serious condition affecting this current generation of children is the disease of obesity, children rely on electronics for mental and physical stimulation. This has become a nationwide epidemic that shows no evidence of slowing down.
