Learning medical terminology is very similar to learning a new language. Everything is all new especially when you are not use to speaking anything medically; the language will come naturally when you learn the terms, and know them. You have to know and learn how to speak them fluently. Knowing them will come from studying and learning them but speaking them correctly is going to take time and practice. I plan to know them by practicing on speaking the medical terms, words, and procedures by making flash cards and listening to the medical terms and everything I learn medically. You want to make sure you can at least explain what you are trying to say while transitioning to the medical language and knowing the basic is not going to cut it since

“In general, people under the age of majority … have fewer rights and responsibilities than adults. For example, you must be 18 to vote, enter into legal contracts, or purchase a lottery ticket in most states. But states, including Tennessee, also recognize that people under the age of majority still have to make certain decisions on their own, and may not benefit from a parent's consent.” (3)
Journey’s intake unit completes all initial assessment to assess client for different level of care and accurately assign them to the most appropriate unit. The different level of care ranged from intensive inpatient care unit to medication only. As a practicum student, I worked in the outpatient services unit. The assessment was completed via an online program with an intake staff and the client, usually a week or two before the first scheduled appointment with a clinician. Therefore, once a client is assigned to me, I have access to review their file. The assessment are usually completed in a brief model format, and as the clinician assigned to work with a client, I am expected to use the first two sessions of therapy

I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. In like manner, I have always had a fascination with the human body. Yet, that fascination was driven even further when I bought my first medical textbooks and studied anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology. I studied those two books in-depth, learning latin root words and suffixes such as -ectomy, hyper-, -osis, epi-, and so forth. From these books, I was able to understand basic medical words, and understand some of the medical jargon that doctors spoke.
This paper will aim to apply my insights on motivational theory of individuals and teams by developing two initiatives to be put into action at the New Mexico Veteran Administration Medical Center (VA). It will discuss how I will implement these initiatives and what changes in an employee mindset may be required to overcome any resistance. It will discuss the positive outcomes I expect, and how I can avoid or minimize negative factors which may cause stress.

Learning the medical terminology is very much like learning a new language because just like another language, a weird looking word can mean just so much more. Not only that but it gives us in the medical field our own language to use to communicate. This makes learning the terms so much easier to do. Learning these terms will take a good bit of time since there are so many words used to describe the body and illnesses that come with it. In the next paragraph, I will give you tips on how to make sure you are able to learn and remember all the medical terminology.
Physician Assistants, or PA’s, work directly under the supervision and guidance of other medical professionals, such as physicians or surgeons. Their work includes mainly examining, diagnosing, and treating patients. PA’s typically review the medical history of patients, order tests to diagnose illnesses (such as x-rays and blood tests) and then interpret the results, make a diagnosis and then provide some sort of treatment (such as a cast or sutures), give information and advice to patients and their families, and prescribe medicine when needed. Furthermore, PA’s can work in any area of medicine, including family care, psychiatry, emergency medicine, or elsewhere. PA’s are highly qualified to take care of
As a young boy, fear isn't something to worry about, however, going to the dentist arises an uneasy emotion making it hard for clinicians to do their job. The unknown of what might happen such as seeing needles or the loud screeching of the drills is what heightens most children's fear. Nevertheless, the young boy in this image is trying to depict the opposite. Compared to everything around him, he is full of color, formulating all the attention to be centered around him. As young boys grow up, there is this stigma that they're fearless and unstoppable, his cowboy belt shows off his masculinity which has a strong connotation to strength and determination that he can make it through the war that is going to come his way.

Decoding is very important because then it becomes easier to understand medical terminology. You should first break down the word by evaluating the meaning of the suffix, then prefix, and then the word root. This will in able a worker to identify what it is that is going on and be able to describe it to their patient and to the doctor or physician when asked. But first the worker needs to have a good sense of the origin of words which is called etymology. (Theirer & Breitbard, 2007, p. 1-4)Once you have the basic rules down you should be able to put words together and take them apart by decoding them. You also need to make sure that the spelling and pronunciation are correct because if a medical term is used incorrectly, it can become very dangerous and sometimes life threatening because you diagnose wrong procedures and medication. It creates a communication for health care professionals to make sure that a patient is treated with the highest amount of service and to ensure that they are being treated with the right medication.
