I chose the Mission statement from the Company category of a Company called R.J.B Industries,
based in Clearfield, Utah, U.S.A. I chose the Companies mission Statement because it was short
and to the point, but it covered all aspects of a Company Projecting Credibility. I read many Mission
Statements using a lot of words but not actually saying a lot.
THE MISSION STATEMENT ,To exceed our customers expectations in quality, delivery and cost through
continuous improvement and customer interaction.
To understand if the web site actually reflected the mission statement I broke It down into what it felt
important ,what words would project to a potential customer at a glance ,I want more information.

COST You are made aware very quickly that they understand the true meaning of cost,
The company has established itself as a one stop shop, using many in house skills in an area allowing
for both intellectual and technical skills to communicate quickly. this environment also helps with one on
one customer consulting cutting down risk of future business problems.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT This company is not afraid to tell the world who they are,

The mission statement is important for both companies. A mission statement tells a story of what the company stand for and how strong they feel about taking care of the customer. The purpose and drive how these two great successful companies.
The page fully reflects their mission statement. The content which shows clearly, the mission, is the mission statement itself, along with other pledges they make to the public.
By using Campbell’s evaluation method, the Group’s mission statement scored 18 out of 20 points, indicating a well-conceived statement. However, the mission statement does not identify a specific standard of behavior; hence, the two-point deduction using Campbell’s 10-question test, but ethical behavior is encouraged. The Group’s mission statement motivates the organization and its shareholders’ by providing direction, vision, and a sense of purpose. The mission statement was devised to encompass the entire scope of the
I have chosen to write about R.J.B Industries, a manufacturing company that manufactures a variety of prototype parts for various clients around the world. A few of their services include product engineering, Sheet Metal Fabrications, Hardware/Software. Etc. They provide products and services all over the world in the fields of telecommunications, electronics, aerospace and more. I will be analyzing and comparing their mission statement to their “About us” section on the company website, to observe if the mission statement meets the needs of the customers and reflects their mission.
At the top I clicked on the “Our Company” link and chose ‘Vision and Values” where I was able to see their current mission statement listed as “Our Principles.” It stated:
Your initial reaction might be something like ‘Oh no! Not another mission statement exercise.’ But bear with me and read on for two minutes more and I think
In the Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship study they look at the comparison of performance of firms with mission statements versus those without mission statements and offer that findings have been conflicting and inconclusive. There seems to be differing conclusions regarding the impact of mission statement presence on a firm's financial performance. As cited in Smith, Heady, Carson, and Carson (2013) they did not find any correlation between performance and having a mission statement. However other studies as they cite as Campbell and colleagues reported a positive relationship between mission statement presence and firm performance. Depending on what factors or variables could play a role in the outcome of the study.
Mission statements must be specific enough so that they define what is unique about the company, yet general enough to allow the company to change with the needs of the times
This mission statement does a good job of remaining broad and open ended, but it does not do a good job of defining their business. The mission statement stresses major values such as maintaining simplicity,
This firm has no mission or vision statement, but the business principles that guide them to achieve their business objectives. Mission
b). Both these sources are unique in their own way but my preference is Source A. In Source A the mission statement to me is motivating and innovative; I can imagine this being said in a time of desperation and this being used as encouragement at the time which makes it so powerful. In Source B although he states a lot of points that show pride and integrity,
Mission statements are important because they show an organisation’s purpose. It is important for companies to have a strong mission statement because “a strong mission statement brings your essence into focus so it is crystal clear who you are, what you do, and why you do it.” (MissionStatements.com, n.d.). Therefore, it is important that a company’s website reflects its mission statement because the site could be a first point of reference both for consumers and stakeholders. Coca-Cola’s mission statement is “To refresh the world. To inspire moments of optimism and happiness. To create value and make a difference.” and the company states that “It declares our purpose as a company and serves as the standard against which we weigh
