Every Christmas Eve, my dad, brother and I make Muddy Buddies for the rest of our family, but the Christmas Eve of 2006 stands out in particularly. My dad had just gotten back from an international business trip so he was a little out of it to say the least. He came home that day and later that afternoon went to the store to get all the ingredients we needed but unfortunately forgot how much of each ingredient to buy. That night when we were making our Muddy Buddies, he ended up going back to the store 3 times because we ran out of cereal, chocolate chips and powdered sugar. Making Muddy Buddies is incredibly important for me to know how to make because it is an annual tradition in my family that my dad, brother and I are known to make …show more content…
That bowl is then set aside. Next, we take the microwavable bowl and insert 1 cup of chocolate chips, half a cup of peanut butter and a quarter cup of thawed out margarine. That bowl is then put in the microwave for one minute, stirred, and then put in the microwave for an additional 30 seconds until smooth. Once smooth, we stir in one teaspoon of vanilla. The mixture made is then poured on top of the 9 cups of Chex cereal and stirred until evenly coated. My dad usually does the stirring or else my brother or I would stir so hard that it would squish the cereal.
Once the cereal is evenly coated, it is then poured into a gallon sized re-sealable bag. Then my dad holds the bag open while my brother pours in the one and a half cups of powdered sugar. The bag is then sealed and I get the fun job of shaking the bag until the powdered sugar coats all the cereal. Then I pour out the cereal onto the dining room table which is covered with wax paper. Then, we repeat the process until we run out of ingredients and have to run to the store to get more. As soon as we make enough Muddy Buddies for the entire family, is when we sprinkle the remaining powdered sugar on top of the cereal. Finally, we take smaller re-sealable bags and fill over 20 bags with Muddy Buddies for each family member to give to them on Christmas Day, while any leftovers are given to my Grandma where she leaves them out throughout her house on Christmas for sharing.

Beat the eggs and milk and pour onto a hot pan. Scramble eggs until fluffy.
Scoop a handful of the chips out of the bowl and place them on a good size square of tinfoil. Fold the chips in the tinfoil up in a square and poke holes with a
Sprinkle the mix onto a metal plate and then make a depression in the middle.

Some of my favorite memories made in high school thus far are due to my involvement in the Best Buddies program. Best Buddies is offered across the United States and is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the exclusion of people with special needs. I joined the program my freshman year and was selected my junior year of high school to be in the Best Buddies class where I get to develop a closer relationship with all of the buddies. In total there are about twenty-five special needs kids that attend my school. I am proud to attend a school that welcomes these kids and always makes sure to include them in major school events and extracurricular activities. Recently, Tyler, one of the buddies, scored a touchdown while playing with our varsity football team. This was a proud moment for the Best Buddies class because we wanted him to have this amazing experience.
Stir each of them at a time for one minute intervals until you get to five times.
Mix together one quarter cup of flax seed, one tablespoon of honey, two-thirds of a cup of peanut butter and one scoop of chocolate protein powder. Add two tablespoons of dark chocolate chips and mix with your hands. Create small balls with the mixture, and place each ball on plate or small cookie sheet. The balls should each be about one inch in diameter, and they should be placed far enough away from each other on the plate to avoid them sticking together. Place the plate in the fridge until they are
Before you begin, always wash your hands. First we begin by blending with the wooden spoon, in one of the large bowls the brown sugar and the one-cup white sugar. Soften the margarine or butter in the microwavable bowl in the microwave for fifteen seconds. After you add the margarine to the sugar, mix them together. Add the peanut butter to the batter then mix again. In the small cup crack each egg separately, and add the yolk part to the batter and stir. Set the mixture aside for the time being. In the other large bowl measure out and sift the flour, baking soda, and salt. Once sifted together, carefully add to the sugar and butter mixture. Blend together carefully. It may take a little elbow grease. Once completely blended, add the vanilla and stir till it is mixed on. The hard part is now over. Make sure that there are no lumps of sugar, pieces of eggshell, and clumps of baking soda. Nobody wants to bite into those! From the batter, scoop out a teaspoon size amount out and roll in your hands until it looks like a sphere. Roll it again, but this time, roll it around in 1/2 cup of white sugar until completely coated. Once achieved, place on the baking sheet. Continue this process of shaping the cookie until twelve and been formed and are two inches apart from each other on the cookie sheet. Take the fork and gently press two fork prints on each cookie, one
When I heard the news of your beloved Joe’s passing, it left me deeply saddened. May your heart and soul find peace and comfort in knowing how much you loved each other and your love is an energy that survives beyond time and this world. Your beloved Joe’s memory will remain in our hearts forever.
Middle school is full of good and bad memories. After being here for four years you develop all sorts of memories that you may not even want to remember. There is one memory from my eighth grade year that I will never forget. Being a water girl for the middle school football team was one of the most exciting extra curricular activities I did.
Keep the operation stationed around the mixture; no need exists to reposition the mixing bowl when the next steps also require the mixer. Total up one three-quarter cup of flour, one-half teaspoon of baking soda, and one-half teaspoon of salt from the supplies and drop them into the bowl. At this stage, blend in each ingredient before the addition of the next. For each baker the number of chocolate chips added to the mixture varies based on personal preference; pour in as much chocolate chips as you desire and place the entire bowl into the fridge for a quick
I put it on in a thin layer on top of the Doritos. After I do that, I put all of it in the microwave so it gets warm and delicious. When it is done in the microwave, I quickly put the cheese on so it can melt. After the cheese melts, I try to mix it up the best I can. Without the basics of the taco, it wouldn’t be good, so after they are on I put on all the good stuff.
Memory is defined as "the persistence of learning over time through the storage and retrieval of information." Our memory can be compared to a computer's information processing system. To remember an event we need to get information into our brain which is encoding, store the information and then be able to retrieve it. The three-stage processing model of Richard Atkinson and Richard Shiffrin suggests that we record information that we want to remember first as a fleeting sensory memory and then it is processed into a short term memory bin where we encode it ( pay attention to encode important or novel stimuli) for long-term memory and later retrieval. The premise for the three step process is that we are unable to focus on too much
(Ok i’m gonna be re-writing my emotional memory write because it’s long and I haven't finished it) It all began when I saw an ad on roblox for “Scream park” If I had known how scary it would I would’ve never clicked the ad. I clicked on it and it sent me to a group page for a game called scream park so I explored the group page to find out about the group and what scream park was so I went around a bit and found out THEY WERE TESTING THE SCI-FI AREA IN 20 MINUTES!!! I was really excited! so I waited until the game opened. After what seemed like 20 hours! the game finally opened I was the first person in then 4 people joined and more came , then more came, tons of people were flooding into the server! Then a guy flew in front of the crowd wearing a blue tuxedo,A white theater mask and a sparkling blue fedora, he then gave a speech about how this
