My multimodal project is titled “10 Things You Need to Know About Kim Kardashian West.” The purpose is to give new information about West to any of her most loyal, following fans. Furthermore, the audience is non-academic and is specific to fans of West. West and her family are on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and post nearly everything about their lives on social medias such as Twitter, Instagram, and their recent personal apps. Given that, it is hard to find information that is new about West. This multimodal extends interesting information about West’s life that die-hard West fans may not even know, or even be looking for; therefore, that is why this audience was specifically chosen. I would have liked to have more information than just the requirement that I met, but it is hard to find new, interesting information. In a perfect world, I would have called West myself so that she could shed light on new information. Also, I tapped into my yearbook editing skills from high school to make my multimodal project actually look like the BuzzFeed website. After a few hours of using Keynote instead of an advanced program, I finally made the slide look similar to the website. The next day, I learned that taking a screen shot of the website was not a form of plagiarism as I previously believed. After seeing several students have nearly identical multimodal projects to the BuzzFeed website, I wish I would not have put so much time and effort into making as many elements as possible to mimic the website; instead, I wish I would have just done that simpler form that actually looked better. Another lost cause might be the dry humor. It is a specific humor that a special kind of person has to have, and some people do not understand that about me. I have faith that my audience of fellow overly-obsessed West fans will really get
