On the historical context, when we talk about the German Healthcare system we have to go back to the medieval times where it has its origin. Major reforms and laws were put in place during the 1880’s as a result of the industrialization of the German state. For example, during the “Industrialization and introduction of mandatory health insurance on the national level in 1883, during the Empire Weimar Republic 1883-1933, the National-Socialist period 1933-1945, the post war

There are many individuals’ that think the German health care system is one of the best in the world. Back in 1883 a man by the name of Otto von Bismarck, created Germany’s health care system; a universal health care system which is the oldest in Europe ("Otto von Bismarck," 2012). When the German health care system was created, it was mandatory for a select few mainly, low-income workers and specific government employees. Gradually the system was expanded to cover the entire German population. Under the German universal health care system 85 % of their population has
Health care systems in Germany faced problems including a growing population, visitation of patients and tourists who needed assistance, and an increase in the costs of providing medical care to the entire population. Both Germany and the US systems have its setbacks. The US suffers from deficits in rich and poor disparity, over-testing patients, and preventable deaths of adults and infants.
Health care can be an overwhelming and complex system. There are many differences within health care systems across the world. For my research I decided to compare the systems in Germany and the United States. Although there are many similarities amongst the two, there are also many differences. This research gives insight as to what each individual system is like, and what is involved in keeping it functioning.
This paper will discuss the comparison between the U.S. healthcare system with the healthcare system of Germany. It will compare access between the two healthcare systems for children, people who are unemployed, and for people who are retired. The coverage for medications in the two healthcare systems will be reviewed and the coverage of preexisting conditions will also be discussed.

ACT II starts off with a basso continuo playing in the background. The main voice then comes in and sings slowly and with much passion. This piece is more gloomy because of the words the singer sings. He describes him saying goodbye to the sky and sun. The melody is also sinking down when the singer mentions the word “morte”. When the singer mentions flying and height the song gains rhythms very quickly to imitate motion going up. ACT III starts off slow and descending. Then, a soft high pitched voice comes in singing slowly. Later in the song the voice rises into a higher range that creates emphasis on the words especially when the words exclaim. The words get higher and more intense as the song continues. The pieces are very similar in some
Germany has long been regarded has having a very efficient and cost effective healthcare system. In this essay several aspects of this system will be evaluated from what works well to what doesn’t. Despite Germany’s highly functional healthcare system they too are going to have to face the challenges that every other developed country is facing: a growing elder population and the ever increasing costs of healthcare in conjunction with a waning economy.

The paper at hand is a music appreciation of The New York Philharmonic’s performance of Gustav Holst’s The Planets at Avery Fisher Hall, New York, on 7th July 2013 at 3:00 p.m. This tenth season of Summertime Classics, presented by The New York Philharmonic, features Bramwell Tovey, who has been the host as well as the conductor of this series since its commencement in 2004 (Gilbert, 2013, p.1). Tovey, a Grammy-winning conductor is renowned all around the world as a highly versatile musician due to his “artistic depth” as well as “charismatic personality” that reflects in his works as a composer and pianist (p.1). On the other hand, The New York Philharmonic is an orchestra group that is comprised of highly talented musicians who by playing musical instruments such as violins, piccolo, cellos, trombones etc are able to bring in the essence of the works done by original composers (Keller, 2012, p.7).
