Before I explain my dream job I need to give a little background information on myself. I was born into a family of adrenaline junkies. I’ve had a very interesting life of adventure and joy. However, one of the most exciting things we did was go to amusement parks. I could honestly be a carnival worker because of how regularly we went to these parks. A couple of years ago I had an internship at Silver Dollar City. My basic duties were to get coffee for the other HR representatives in the office. However, I also worked in the park doing ride operations in Fireman’s landing. While there, I realized how much I adore working in an atmosphere that made kids happy. Just watching kids and adults smile and laugh together while on the ride just warmed my heart. I grasped those feelings tightly as I began my first semester of college. Now, after reflecting on where I’ve been and where I want to go now, my dream job would be working as an animal trainer at SeaWorld. Contrary to common belief, SeaWorld is always looking for individuals to be animal trainers. To be considered for a trainer position, applicants must have a college degree of some sort. The company prefers degrees focused on animal or Sociology and psychology. For me, this would be great job because I love animals and being around kids. One of the most prominate animal training institution in the United States is The SeaWorld Company. This company is a major power house focused on bringing animals and people closer
There is an ancient African adage that states “If you wish to move mountains tomorrow, you must start by lifting stones today”. As a first generation immigrant to the United States and reminiscent of countless other immigrants who have come before me, moving to a new country literally means starting your life all over again from scratch, but symbolically it signifies a rebirth of oneself and a chance to metamorphose into whatever new creature you aspire to be. Some of the challenges I faced included culture shock, language barriers, financial barriers, but the utmost significant one was the education barrier. I quickly realized that if I could bridge the education gap I would be able to overcome all the other barriers. For myself, having an education epitomized my assimilation into my new life by enabling me to chase my dreams and realize my unique American dream.
Seaworld is has a lot of aquariums in the United States and all other the world . Many people in the past want to see and experience life under the sea. Seaworld was ideal place to do this. These locations including place in Orlando, San Diego, and many more. They main attraction is there Orcas which they have the largest population of Orcas than any other competitors. In beginning of the film, the appeal to pathos affects the audience as we listen to what these former trainers have to say about how they became interested in the job and what made them realize that a trainer was what they wanted to be. As a little kid each of these trainers were inspired by commercials, TV channels, and visiting SeaWorld for the first time. It seems that this job is perfect for them until they realize that they do not know where and how these killer whales were captured. According to the SeaWorld of Hurt website, “Dr. Newby tells the story of the horrific captures

I just started working at Oyster Harbors Club a few weeks ago, but my experience there has been wonderful. It has been an honor life guarding on the beach, and getting to know all the families and the children attending camp. I enjoy working in such a friendly family environment, and I am excited to work next summer as well. My educational plans for the future consist of acquiring my bachelors degree in biology that would help me in pursuing a medical career as a doctor. My passion has always been helping others whether it is at work, making sure people are safe, or giving back to my community. After becoming a certified doctor, I plan on specializing in dermatology. I am a very hard
As a child I remember going to SeaWorld at least once a year. My favorite thing to do there was watching the Shamu show. It touched my heart to see these trainers bonding with such a big whale. I always told myself when I grew up; I wanted to be a trainer for the killer whales. I figured I would have to go study marine biology and the schooling would take years. While researching I found that anyone off the streets can be a trainer for the orcas, all you need to know is how to swim. Even now, having children of my own, I took them to Sea World to see Shamu and watched them enjoy it like I did. Earlier this year I noticed a documentary on Netflix about the killer whales at Sea World, it opened my eyes to a whole new perspective.
Isn't it everyone’s dream to have a job where we love it so much it’s our hobby and not really our job? Well, at least it has been for me, wanting to become a dental hygienist. I don't really want to do it for the money (although it is pretty decent pay), but the work environment and what you are providing for others. The satisfaction you get when you can make someone smile or make them feel confident about their smile. And “boy oh boy”, is there a story behind on how I found a hobby/part-time. I have. I'm pretty sure that we’ll have heard the saying "We are going to end up doing what we hate the most", and well this is what happen in my situation.
A number of marine biologists believe the lives of SeaWorld trainers are at risk every day working with the animal’s unpredictable behaviors. No one will know when an orca will unexpectedly take another individual’s life working at SeaWorld. A trainer must have the proper amount of knowledge and skill before going into the waters with a wild animal such as an orca. SeaWorld affirms to the public that their trainers are highly instructed if an incident were to ever occur.
Whales in captivity are accessible to safer standards and care. SeaWorld trainers are well trained and are fit to help killer whales stay in shape. As told by Sea World, “The killer whales in our facilities benefit whales in the wild. We provide scientific research and data that would be difficult or impossible to get in the wild (Killer Whales). “SeaWorld provides “positive reinforcement training techniques and compassionate care with all of the animals (SeaWorld Cares)”. Sea World remains and world’s most respected marine zoological institution.
As I’ve said earlier, my most prolific dream has always been to one day work in the professional field of animation. To create living, breathing worlds with the tip of a pencil and the solid white plane of your average piece of printer paper. For years I’ve been practicing and honing my skills to reach this goal, but I knew that I would first need the proper connections, education, and mentorship of renown industry professionals to help me reach the bountiful zenith of my highest aspirations. And because of my employment, education, and extracurricular experiences, I believe that I’m adequately-equipped to see these dreams of mine become a reality. For instance, my work at the Madison Mallards baseball park during the summer of ‘17 has not only prepared me for the typical aspects of the workforce, but it has also helped me better interact with other people and build lasting connections. Almost everyday, I worked endlessly to garner profit for my employer and satisfy customers of all backgrounds. Almost everyday, I was tasked with working synergistically within a cast of colorful co-workers and managers. And finally, I was able to share with the management my unwavering sense of dedication to company policy and the
