I was sitting up against a tree waiting, watching and then it all happened, it came up through the timber ran towards someone and then back to me. It was running towards me, I was thinking I cannot miss so when he got 10 yards from me I pulled up and…….
It all started the second week in December it was a decent 30 degree day with a light, fluffy snow. We decided on where we were going to hunt. We went there and it was still lightly snow so where ever you walked you sank down and got it all over your pants. My dad and I got dropped off so the deer wouldn’t go our way and if they did, we would chase them to everyone else. It all worked as planned, but they were all too small to shoot.
So we got done there and we decided to regroup and try another spot, and when we got there someone else was there,

When we were pushing the first piece of timber I saw a small 4 point buck and I figured someone was going to get him in the next hour, but some sitters messed up on where they needed to sit so we lost him, but we decided we would hunt the next piece of timber and when we did, I sat right next to my dad’s friend and was hoping I would get a deer because this is normally where they funnel out to but they went right next to my dad’s friend and he got a half buck. So I had to drag him with help for about 30 yards through the timber and up hill, we went to a couple of other hunting places a got 2 more but if was getting dark so we quit. When we got there the next day my dad told his friends about how he almost hit a small doe on accident and how it wasn’t even 1 foot from the bumper of the truck. We debated on actually going hunting since the actual temperature outside was -10 degrees but there wasn’t any wind so it wasn’t to bad. When we decided we were gonna hunt a small piece of land two deer came in between me and my dad and I shot twice and I got one of them, my first
My story was told to me by my Grandfather when I was young as a way not to go into the woods alone it's a smart way to scare a young child into doing what you want. The story was about my Grandfather's last hunting trip in the woods. The year
It was a chilly night before the last day of deer hunting season. At just the age of fifteen, I was in my house cleaning my cheap twenty gauge from Walmart. Using, a grubby white sock that had a long dark old shoelace tied around it, I inserted my shoelace through the top of the barrel.I then slowly pulled my sock through, till I saw it hanging a little into the ejection port to remove gunpowder from the gun.As I was cleaning, I kept thinking to myself how exciting this was going to be, because if I didn’t get a deer this year it was still fun going hunting. After I was done cleaning my gun, I slipped the gun into its soft dark green case.I then set out my bright blaze orange vest, and my old brown hand me down coveralls then crawled into

My family and i all went on a hunt for deer but we ran into trouble. There was a elk charging at us.Here is how it all began.
First, At about eleven o'clock I was riding around on my deer lease just listening to music and looking for deer. Also I was checking my game cameras. Next, I checked my deer camera and I thought I would make a circle and see if I could see any deer. So we are about halfway through making a circle and we start seeing some deer. Also, we saw a really big ten point, but it's about eleven thirty now and it's getting frigid .
Trying to make as little noise as possible I walk to where I will sit. Along the way, I creep over a knoll and jump four deer browsing on small alders. Immediately upon seeing me, they streak through the trees; I stop and listen to their feet pounding into the earth, and realize there are many deer in the area and my chances of seeing a deer while sitting will be very good. After 15 minutes of sneaking through the oaks and maple trees I find the tree I will sit in. My father set the the stand in the tree a few weeks before my arrival. I crawl up and as I sit down it is just getting light in the east.
In mid March much of the northeast was hit with a large snow storm named stella. fortunate enough for me being an avid snowmobile rider i was almost right in the middle of the storm receiving the greatest amount of snow. It started off like any other snow day, my brother and I got up early in the morning and shoveled snow and plowed it all day making sure we kept the amount of snow on our driveway less than eight inches. Once the storm finally ended my brother and I got out our snowmobiles and road with a couple of our friends all over. We rode all the way from Mount Pocono to Stroudsburg since we were under a state of emergency. My family friends and I all had our share of fun with this but we realized that we wanted to go to the snowmobile
The buck is in my sights. I pull the trigger. It’s hunting season November 11, 2014. I’m hunting with my grandpa. He’s sleeping in the driver's seat of the truck. I’m in the passenger side of the truck. It’s around seven o’clock and I’m watching the woods to my right I turn and look around and all of a sudden a doe appears in the field in front of me and then I hear the buck. The buck grunts four or five times. I’m straining my eyes to see but I still can’t see the buck. The buck is just of the field in the brush to my left. I grab my gun I put my other hand on the door handle i’m ready to get out as soon as I see
I woke up that morning and started to bounce off the walls. The excitement of my first ever hunting trip had overwhelmed me. I got dressed and went downstairs to find my mom making pancakes and bacon. After the delicious breakfast I waited outside for my cousins to pick me up. As they pulled up in front of my house I ran to the car and hopped in. The ride took about four hours, and by the third hour we lost cell service. Nearing the trailer, we drove through a fenced in building in the middle of nowhere, which I eventually learned was a prison. We had now just entered Cameron County, and the miles of never ending woods surrounding it were filled with elk, wild turkeys, and deer.
We started out our day sitting in a blind in our woods and about 10:00 my dad started pushing the woods toward us and a half rack and two doe came walking at us but I forgot to put bullets in my gun so we did not get to shoot at any of them. Then we went around to a few more woods but could not get a safe shot at any of the deer that came out. After that we walked a ditch and at the end of the ditch this huge nine point buck pops up so I take a shot and hit it in the hip but he did not go down. So we followed him to the next ditch where we put another slug in him. Then he ran to a river bottom where I thought I put the last bullet in him. Then we were all standing around him when he jumps up again and growls at us and takes off again, at this point I already have my gun unloaded and in the truck so I run for the truck while my dad and a few other guys try to go find the deer back. Finally I get my gun loaded again and the deer is standing in the middle of the river and I have a straight shot on him so I yell “CLEAR!!!” And take the last shot and killed
I would like to say that Timberlands are the best and most iconic shoes. People usually get nike or other shoes, but I still believe that timberlands is the best shoe out there. Timberlands are also great for indoor and outdoor use.
It was a nice beautiful cold morning on the first day of rifle season we did not see that many deer morning until a few does where chased out of the woods. We kept any eye out at that spot then I saw him a nice looking buck I got the gun up and took the shot he dropped.
I woke up around 6:30 in the morning and I realized I had not eaten in days and I was starving. So I went out and started looking for something to eat, but I couldn’t find anything, then out of the corner of my eye I saw a rabbit so I jumped for But unfortunately I missed and the rabbit hopped away. So I went back to the camp, and I sat there and I was thinking how was I going to catch any animals then it hit me.I started out in the woods looking of a curved stick and eventually after looking for one for about twenty minutes I found one I tried to break it but it was to hard so it was a good stick. So I started walking back to camp when I got there I took one of my shoelaces and tied it to the stick the shoelace was nice and sturdy so I knew this was going to be a good bow.
This case study is about B.R.Richardson Timber Products Corporation a lamination plant located in Papoose, Oregon. Part of the management team determined that there was a need for change in the organization and decided to reach out to Jack Lawler a management trainer and consultant for help. The issues which needed to be addressed were the low morale in the plant, the authoritative plant manager, and the fact that there was a resent fatality in the plant. Bowman was in charge of industrial relations at the plant and felt that a motivation course was needed.
After that we sat in silence for about 20 minutes until the cold began to nip at my feet and the tips of my fingers which made me very restless but I tried to do my best so I would not scare away the deer. When we hit the 60 minute mark I was bored out of my mind, I thought I would go crazy, but suddenly my Father grabbed my coat and pointed out Words the west side of the field that we were watching. I
