I have been Working Full-time and taking full-time classes and sometimes even more than full-time classes for last 3 years; alongside also taking care of my family. Having too many responsibilities and still able to keep good academic standing is also an achievement for me. However, i want to focus more on studies, networking with professionals, and taking part in other community services is a goal for me to achieve. My long term goal is to become a CPA.
My second goal is to get a job as a medical assistant. In a doctor's office or hospital.
In 2008 when I decided to start going to college I had no idea what I wanted to do; besides eventually be a Game Warden. Goals that I laid out for myself were simple at the time. I foresaw nothing that was going to get in my way. I was prepared to breeze right through everything. Personal goals that I had set for myself were to continue on with a happy marriage and lose weight. My academic goals consisted of graduating by 2012 and starting a master’s program right after graduating with my bachelor’s degree. Professional goals were to get my dream career of Game Warden and I wanted to teach EMS students. As life went on things changed drastically and while some of these goals are achieved others have been long gone and some have been pushed to achieve later in
In the meantime, my short term goals are to finish school first. When I finish schooling at Kaplan University I hope to land any entry-level job as an administrator for a medical or rehab center. Hopefully I gain enough experience my entry-level job to excel in future career. From there I want to work on my master degree for healthcare administration. I have decided yet on what school I want to attend yet but it must uphold a great system where I will receive plenty of help. My next step in my career is apply myself toward getting and being the best assistant nursing manger there is. I will have attain a minimum of two years of experience as an assistant nursing home administrator in order for me to become the license nursing home administrator. My dreams aren’t overnight success but they are worth the dedication. My school is helping my pursue my dreams by providing great services and
and I have kept my GPA at a 4.0 in college. I am taking seven of those classes now, playing basketball, running track and I am active in assorted clubs. Being active, I am training myself to use my time wisely. After graduating from Sturgeon R-V High School I hope to gain admissions to the University of Missouri Occupational Therapy Professional Program, graduating with a master’s degree. I have challenged myself to set high goals and do everything in my power to complete
There have been several goals that I have alsways wanted to pursue in life. Some of these goals I have already achieved; for example, such as the medical field, I have established my certifications in Medical Assistants and Nursing Assistants. I've redirected my career in the Industrial Industry, by doing this I have accomplished in being a Certified Welder and Torch Burner, with my previous education and experience this has allowed me to start a foundation for my family. I bought a car and even purchased a home, while taking care of my financial needs.
During my life I was taught education is important to make it in today’s society. So because of that I went to school for C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) straight out of high school in 1992. After working in this field for a couple years I decided that this field wasn’t what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I then decided to work in the Customer Service field with varies companies like BellSouth in the repair department and Carnival Cruise Line in the reservation department. In June of 2003, I took a break to have my third daughter that was premature. After being out of work for about two years I decided to go back to school. I enrolled in University of Phoenix to study Healthcare Administration. After completing the degree in Healthcare
I have been a full- time student for almost two years. My grades reflect my determination to succeed. Community college has given the opportunity to consider various careers, and I know what I want to do. My goal is to become a teacher. I have a passion for art, and I want to teach it. I have taken courses during high school and community college, and intend to take many more
I took my certification and moved to Las Vegas in 2001. I was not able to go straight into college for a nursing education because I also had my children to care of at that point. I continued to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in different hospitals like Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Saint Rose Siena Campus. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, I was tasked to do many jobs like transporting patients and assisting nurses in basic nursing care like feeding, bathing, and ambulating the patient. There were even times where the patient was almost double my size and I mustered the strength to continue in the medical field. I knew that I still wanted to be a nurse and continuing as a Certified Nursing Assistant would give me the experience that I could use as foundation for my goal, to become a Registered Nurse. My main goal is still to become a Registered Nurse, I want to be able to help patients with different procedures
Getting to this point in my academic career has been a balancing act. I spent most of my time as a part time student earning my Associates while working full time. Getting the most out of my education was always my primary goal and it meant working hard and managing my time well. I graduated with Faculty Honors and am currently progressing towards graduating Cum Laude at Western. I was able to not only take a heavy course load, but manage it well and remained flexible and grounded in the reality of what I could handle. Determined to expand my knowledge I wanted to not only to take a variety of courses during early undergraduate work, but as I
At this tome my highest level of education is an AAS degree in Paralegal studies. However I will be graduating in December with a BAAS degree in Business

I am very passionate about my education and have put a great amount of effort in to get where I am today. I have constantly committed to excelling in my classes and have already completed some college classes through Sauk Valley Community College and maintained a 4.0 GPA in these college courses. Apart from maintaining a 4.07 cumulative GPA, I am also involved in my school's academic team and am a wrestling statistician. Outside of school, I have a part-time job at my local library as a librarian assistant. I have also completed ___ hours of volunteer work so far and plan to complete more. These activities require a strong work ethic and
In September 2014, CPA Canada initiated a CPA mentorship program that all future CPAs are required to participate in. The program became mandatory to help future CPAs learn foundational skills and gain valuable experience. Richard Piticco, CPA, CA, and project lead for CPA practical experience requirements says, "It’s about helping future CPAs develop their enabling competencies, which includes members demonstrating values and ethics and transferring them to incoming CPAs."
I am more limited in many career developmental opportunities because I have not completed my college degree.
From an early age I learned that our very best is often brought to action when we willingly take on challenges and persevere with grace through trying times. As a widowed, single mother, my mom strove for excellence in every area of her life in order to put food on the table for her children. She studied to be a nurse, quickly rose in to administration, became the first in our family to obtain a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and earned a seat as a director for an international healthcare organization. Her determination and positive spirit served as a great example and sparked a passionate drive in my life to help others while striving for greatness.
