Despite the fact, Langley, (2009) emphasizes that initiative for change beginning with a small change which may lead to a fruitful improvement of the problem. In my view, people assume that when thinking of change, it signifies enormous address of each prevailing problem. At the end, agents of change overwhelm while losing control and resources, leaving the situation even worse than previously. The idea of change requires sharing with it with interested people as noted earlier, including the marginalized whom with enthusiastic we seek to improve their current state of life. 4: 2: 3 The Attempted Action for Improvement Using Langley et al. The first part of the model has three fundamental questions. The first part is called, Aim: What are we trying to accomplish? The second part is, Measures: How will we know a change is an improvement? The third part is called, Changes: What change can we make that will result in improvement?
Change should be seen as a challenge and embraced with enthusiasm (Marquis & Huston, 2012). In my professional and personal life, I view and respond to change as a way to make improvements to existing regulations and circumstances. I embark upon the quest with determination to succeed at whatever task is presented to me. Life without change can become unchallenging and stagnant (Marquis & Huston, 2012). As society and technology advance, you must incorporate the necessary transformations that arise with it.

To any prospective parent, a school needs to present all the facts about itself, so as the parent may make the choice that is best for their child. Thirty years ago, when I was in school. There was no concern about scores, diversity, etc. You just went to your local elementary, middle and high school. Today parents are much more informed and curious about where their child is going to go. To some parents, it is quite important to have their children attend a culturally diverse school. “There is a richness that comes from students working side by side with others who are not of the same cookie-cutter mold,” notes Jean Snell. As Edelman had bettered the community by constantly working towards a solution that works for the community, despite any opposition, I will apply a collaborative method in my work. Without collaboration, there will be no ability to come to a solution, especially if there are parties that don’t agree with your ideals. As Edelman had worked through obstacles in Los Angeles, the city of Phnom Penh had done the same. Against all odds and working towards improving the community, Phnom Penh had brought running water to the city. The drive to constantly improve the community will help me to drive myself look for a solution or come to a compromise in various situations, for there is always something to improve on and there is never an end to helping

I could converse with the nearby media, the neighborhood TV station(s), the radio station(s) and/or the newspaper(s). These three types of media are a decent path to a more established group of onlookers who are not as technology shrewd. That approach would be to get the issues out to the general society is to utilize the web. There are numerous sites that could be utilized, maybe the shelter has a site, Facebook, and urban community sites are among them. Of course, this one holds the most risk in that organizations
Housing improvement and affordability policy is an ongoing issue that our nation has battled with since desegregation. Affordable housing provision for low-income communities has been researched extensively in the past by nonprofits in Charlottesville , and The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development( HUD). Locally, the Habitat for Humanity store works to ensure this policy issue is properly addressed through making housing improvements as well as building homes for families in need. The Habitat for Humanity Store has worked to make critical home repairs with sponsorship from Home Depot for veterans (Habitat, 2017). Thus, the Estate Administration and Property Department was expected to manage majority of the operations including housing policies, pricing, and sales to name a few. Challenges faced were work process and systems that needed modifications through clear operational strategies.
In the review of the book, “Making Change Work: Practical Tools for Overcoming Human Resistance to Change,” I decided to summarize the major steps the book establishes. The results should challenge an individual to grow in the process but also be achievable. The results should be meaningful and make a difference. One should not aim for results for the sake of just achieving results. The results should be visible and measurable.
