My Passion For Israel

Always, I was told from parents and elders that anyone can achieve their dreams through arduous work and dedication. Surprisingly, I hadn’t pondered this until I observed a shivering homeless person standing at the corner asking for help on one snowy, frosty winter day. This affected my life greatly. On the way, I just started thinking about the life of homeless people and how they are not fortunate enough to get their own place to live, their choice of delicious food to eat and several other amenities that we all enjoy in our everyday lives. An incident, like this, sparked an enthusiastic sense of compassion and empathy in me. Along with my family, I started thinking deeply and my thoughts to help the homeless expanded to other areas and I wanted to start helping the community around me as much as possible.

What is passion? Passion is a strong and barely controllable emotion. Passion is the powerful feeling of enthusiasm we all have inside us. When we are passionate of the work we do, the better we can overcome the obstacles that life throws our way. The more we are enthusiastic about something the more willing we are to work harder at improving ourselves. the thing that I am most passionate about is cooking and it is what makes feel marvelous inside.

Passion; an intense desire or enthusiasm for something. The latin origin of the word ‘pati’, meaning to suffer. For me running is my passion in every sense of the word.

Everyone has that certain thing that makes them who they are. That certain thing for me is soccer. It’s my hobby, my biggest interest, and my passion. Soccer isn’t just a sport for me, it’s my life. It has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have played the intriguing game of soccer since I was four years old, and I have loved it ever since.

I hope to gain work experience, to grow in my love for the outdoors and my passion for protecting the environment, and to meet new people who share my passions. I look forward to seeing Yellowstone for the first time and gaining skills that will prepare me for my future occupation in Conservation. Likewise, I seek to earn the tools needed to be successful with my career goals. With this preparation, I will continue fueling my passion for Conservation by involving myself with various programs that further my education and drive me to further my work in the field. By testing out a career in Conservation, I will have a clearer idea of whether or not I wish to pursue a similar occupation.

It's a misconception that one needs to be passionate about something. Well of course until you meet passionate people. What are my passions? Well, there are many passions but to summarize it my passion is school. My interest in a building is not only within it but also on the outside. I love sport, music, and academics.

Every single person on this earth has a passion. No, I am not talking about fruit. I am talking about is something that can put a person on top of the world or put a 40 ton wrench right in the center of a person’s gut. Passion. Passion one might say is to have enthusiasm, love, and maybe even be obsessed. Although, I say it is the key to become successful. Growing up, everyone is finding something that they love to do. This something I have found, it the game of golf. I have created a passion for this game and spend many hours on a golf course.

Within my BBYO community, Israel educational programming is extremely lacking, it is for this reason that I partook in Ian Kandel's "Israel Programming" class during this past Perlman Summer. I am currently planning a program to run within my chapter on Israeli-Palestinian relations. If I am chosen to participate in this program I will be more equipped to advocate for Israel education programming on both the chapter level and regional level.

My passion is about soccer and how there are kids that can’t play this amazing sport due to financial costs. The equipment needed for this sport can be on the costly side, just for a soccer ball can be $20 and shin guards can be $15 and for a pair of cleats is $50 to like $250. For buying all of this could cost people next to $200 on the cheap side. My passion for soccer and this organization came by when I had a neighbor who couldn't afford all the stuff needed to play the sport and he was really good. So I always wondered if goodwill is really the only store to have used stuff for a good price but they never really have soccer stuff. Then I found this place that will take used soccer equipment and put it at very low prices for people that

Passion is a powerful thing in life, and it is a pity that many people go through life having never found or pursued a personal passion. Passion helps us to improve ourselves and find a purpose in the world, leading us towards new, better things on a daily basis. Without passion, we are simply beings who walk through the stages of life for no reason other than to survive. We need passion to keep us motivated and to push us into new realms of happiness and understanding. If there’s anything we need to find in life, it is our passion.

According to Merriam- Webster’s dictionary, passion is defined as a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something or a strong feeling (such as anger) that causes you to act in a dangerous way. All in all, it is a strong feeling, be it happiness, sadness, anger or liberality. You can be passionate about many things such as love, sports, food, or intimacy. However, it can also mean having a strong yearning for something.

Passion is when you put more energy into something than is required to do it. It is more than just enthusiasm or excitement, passion is an ambition that is materialized into action to put as much heart, mind body and soul into something as is possible. It is an intense emotion, a compelling enthusiasm or desire for something. Passion is the beginning of success. It is motivation in action. When I speak of passion, I do not mean it in the romantic way. What I mean by passion, is the powerful feeling of enthusiasm we all have inside of us. We are all enthusiastic and passionate about something, whether it’s ambition and aim or goal of life. That enthusiasm is very powerful.
