My Passion For Soccer

Another summer has gone by and already it's the start of a brand new school year. Summer 2017 was quite relaxing. I didn't have any extraordinary plans for the summer since I wasn't leaving Vancouver, but I spent the summer in the city itself during the hot and humid climate. I usually didn't have any fixed routines throughout my summer, so I spent most of my days sleeping away and staying up all night until sunrise, binging through shows on Netflix with my best friend on FaceTime, spending quality time with my family, enjoying backyard barbecues and camping.

Becoming a cheerleader at such a young age, being on the cheer mat became a happy place for me. I spent thirteen out of my eighteen years of my life cheerleading and it is definitely something that means a lot to me. Being on the cheer mat whether at practice or at competition has taught me many life lessons that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Having such caring and dedicated coaches made my experience so special and unique. My passion for cheerleading shows tremendously as soon as I step on the mat, and learning many life lessons from cheer has shaped me into the person I am today.

Everyone has that certain thing that makes them who they are. That certain thing for me is soccer. It’s my hobby, my biggest interest, and my passion. Soccer isn’t just a sport for me, it’s my life. It has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have played the intriguing game of soccer since I was four years old, and I have loved it ever since.

It’s a brisk fall morning, as I walk down the hill to the athletic center. The sun is just beginning to rise and there is dew on the cut grass. I am heading to a meeting with my coach, letting him know that I will be done playing collegiate baseball, my first love.

My love for baseball started a long time ago when I was still a little kid, I Must have been six or seven years old. I could not have been younger than this, although I can vividly remember the experience as if it was yesterday. It was actually the very first time that my dad volunteered to take me to a real baseball game, he must have seen my love for baseball due to the fact that I loved playing catch when I was a young boy. From this observation he must have seen a future baseball player. He was also a baseball player, so baseball was not actually new to the family. I had the thought that I might have been a basketball star, however i enjoyed baseball too much and was much to short to be much good at basketball.

Many people play sports and have hobbies they are passionate about, but soccer isn't justa hobby or a sport I play for fun soccer is my life. Millions of people across the globe play thebeautiful sport of futbol (soccer), so what makes me different from the rest. I started playingsoccer when I was 3 years old and instantly fell in love with the beautiful game. I could tell rightaway that soccer was my sport and my passion and no one could take that away from me.Throughout my development of soccer my emotions for the sport remained constant but mypassion for it changed I became addicted to the sport. Softball has been my passion for as long as long as I can remember. I started playing in first grade and joined a club team in forth grade. The sport has established numerous friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Softball has taught me anythings. From sportsmanship to leadership skill, I now have many skills that will benefit me in the future. I will always be grateful for the sport because I have witnessed so many experiences that I probably would not have if I did not play the

Although life is overbooked and filled with stressors, I can relax and enjoy playing soccer. Wearing the colors and badge of the team I’m on is something I hold with pride, and I work to play well while representing my team. At the same time, I train and work hard to excel and reach higher levels of competitive soccer. Even with the constant ups and downs and quiet car-rides when we lose, my passion for the game still tends to bring me back to the game and take my mind off of all my cares. Many a time I would sit and want to quit, but all the adversity and strong work ethic shapes who I am today. Through all my experiences, soccer is one of my favorite things to do and a passion I fully enjoy. Playing in the high-intensity travel and school games, plus coaching of my little brother’s team all are activities I love.

Soccer has always been important to me and since I was three it has been a part of my future ambition. Soccer is also a big part of my family. I did this mostly because I want to learn everything I can to help me progress while I can, and being busy with school and sports all the time I never get time to learn, so this paper was the perfect opportunity.

I have a passion for playing field hockey. I started playing the sport when I was nine years old. I decided on field hockey because my older sister played. When I played on the defensive line, I loved every minute of it. My favorite moments were when I had to play at the end of field as the makeshift goalie. The following year I volunteered to be my team’s goalie. From that point on, I have never stopped being the goalie. I am now the goalie of the Maryland 1A 2014 State Championship team.

The sport of football is viewed by many as the most exciting and greatest sporting event of all. Although they're many other sports that are also entertaining, football is in my eyes is the best. Why is football my favorite sport? The coaches can inspire others to achieve greatness, you'll get the best fitness without ever buying a gym membership, and the discipline you will earn will help you throughout life. If it wasn't for my coach believing in me I would not have known the talent I have nor would I like football.

For my shoe box, I filled it with items for a girl who is 10 years of age or older. I picked to buy presents for an older child because older children aren’t always the first option when there are donations for Christmas presents. I filled my box with items like a designer purse, a hairbrush, a coloring book, colored pencils, and other girly items. This organization helps thousands of children on holidays. Just from my school alone, we collected over 100 boxes. I would one hundred percent participate in this project again because it was simple to do, but means the world to a young child or teenager.

I learned that not all people can afford to buy new stuff for their newborn babies. Many families in our community are struggling to make ends meet. There is a big difference between those who have more than they need and those that don’t. I hope that by giving a baby hat, that a family can buy something else they will need for the baby like diapers. This project address those needs because it gives that family something they might need but can not afford. Other work to address this need is happening at Goodwill and the Clothes Bank. They also help people that don't have a lot of money get the clothes they need. I can apply this learning in my life by making baby hats and donating the clothes I don't wear, need, or don't fit to Goodwill or The Clothes Bank. I learned more about the Clothes Bank and how they help people in need from my aunt Nancy. I could also help address this need by asking my parents or peers if they would want to help make baby hats or ask if we could go to the Clothes Bank and see what we could do to help. I could tell them that many people can't afford their own clothes and that we need to give back because we have so much more than the people in need. I will make more baby hats this summer and I would like to tell my family and friends more about it the need for clothes in our community. This activity was a lot of fun but it also helped me learn about the people who can not

When I was nine years old I was first introduced to a new aspect of my life by two beloved family members, my great aunt and uncle. They showed me their passion in life, the game of golf. My Aunt and Uncle have been playing the sport for over 30 years now together, and have learned to love, and learned to be experts at the game. In showing me this passion at their home course, Legend Lake Country Club, I too began to develop a love for the game. It didn’t take long for golf to take over my life. I became obsessed, spending nearly all of my spare time with a club in my hand.
