I am making the assessment upon my personal growth through the course of Personal Growth and Development.
From the 40 Questions Assignment, I take 5 words that describe me are Integrity, Compassion, Fighter, Caring and Friend. I maintain integrity in any given situation as part of character. I also have compassion toward others, especially the ones who have less favorable conditions. When I fight, I do not stop neither I quit. I finish what I start. I care for many things maybe I a little more care than I should. And a good and loyal friend I am, that is maybe the reason I do not have a true friend toward myself. People tend to enjoy my friendship and forgotten about their role to function as a friend in return. And my personality says “I am a simple yet complex character, at first impression people may catch what they don’t like about me until they care enough to know me more personally and they will find the true friend means.” The list of my strengths as my valuable assets is I am multi-talented person and possess many skills up to the level of mastery. Everyday I demonstrate all 5 parts of character. I believe that everyone should be a leader and do what they believe in and not let anybody stop them from striving and doing good things. I always put others needs before mine and will help anybody or anything. I always turn things in on time and do my work. I don’t believe in last minute work, so I try to finish all my schoolwork as soon as I possibly can.
What made me the person that I am today? My mother plays a big role on this topic. I have developed into a smart, hardworking young lady because my mom has never stopped pushing me to be a better person. I learned at a young age how to work for everything that I have now. This includes getting a job at age 16. If it wasn’t for my mother, I would have never attended college. If it wasn’t for my mother raising the twenty-year old lady I am today, I would not know how to get through the life successfully. I am independent because of my mother. As a matter of fact, the name “Emily” means industrious and striving. I take pride in these characteristics because they describe me perfectly. I grew up with my family in Houston, Texas but I settled in
When beginning to describe a person there are many different qualities, values, fears, likes, and dislikes that make up the puzzle pieces to who they are. Everyone has their own unique and intricate personality that makes no two people the same. When attempting to illustrate who I am I thought it would be best to begin to describe myself through my character traits.
This paper serves to apply the knowledge learned throughout the course, COUN 502, to the development and growth in my lifespan. I will aim to demonstrate a working knowledge of the theories, terminology, and concepts of human growth and development. I will show how these disciplines apply to my own life experiences and how I did throughout my key life events, through the use of empirical studies.
My character is something I take a lot of pride in. I am known to be honest, kind, and playful. I enjoy having fun but I know my limitations. I know when enough is enough and when it is time to get work done. I think this is why I excel in public and community settings. I know how to make people laugh and feel good about themselves with just a smile. I am also very honest. Since a young age my parents have inspired me to be honest and grateful. I have great work ethic and enjoy being helpful. I am patient
My personality is defined as “Guardian” which fits my personality perfectly. Guardians are practical and down-to-earth, but they know how to have funs with their friends. They take their duties seriously, are hard workers and are dependable and trustworthy. They are most comfortable when life is structured (Keirsey, n.d.). I am a loyal friend who like to have fun, but follow the rules. My friends have said I am their “voice of reason”. I enjoy socializing with my close group of friends, but I am cautious when meeting new people. I enjoy watching sports, probably because there are defined sets of rule which allow for a fair turn for each team. I do not like when plans change suddenly. I am a planner and when things change I have to alter my plans.
The Memo will directly address my growth as a writer throughout my time in EH 101-13. It will also highlight my current strengths and weaknesses in my own personal writing style.
Have you ever wondered what three character traits would describe you? In our own words would you describe yourself differently they your friends and family. If I had to describe myself in three ways I would say I’m athletic, intelligent, and faithful.

If asked, do I have a good moral character, most will say yes. I live by the code of do unto others as you would have done unto you. Therein lies my integrity, a standard by which I guide my actions in the world; Actions I stand behind and live by. Actions that I will admit to if they are unbecoming, not too much will not apologize if I feel they were necessary at the
