Although the museum itself is not seem very large, it contains multiple interesting art galleries. The art ranges from American art to art from the other side of the world, and from traditional art to unrecognizable art. My favorite painting from the De Young museum is called “Crusades”, which was painted by Helen Frankenthaler in 1976. The painting is an acrylic on canvas and is 108.25 inches by 60 inches, and is located in gallery number 15. This is true because this particular museum is a three-quarter-scale model of the Palais de la Légion d’Honneur that is located in the city of Paris. When you enter the museum the layout is simple, all the rooms connect and you start in the beginning and follow through to the end. There is no getting lost, I personally loved the layout of this museum because it made me feel more organized and gave me the opportunity to go through all the galleries without worrying if I has missed one. After looking through all of the galleries I noticed that their paintings were more European centered and had a lot to do with
