NIEHS FIVE - PARAGRAPH The NIEHS finds new ways to make our environment better for our health. The NIEHS needs money from the government for its activities, The NIEHS operations should go on to be supported by the government. I agree we should continue helping the NIEHS for the health of our environment. This can make our environment better and help us live a healthier life. In Conclusion this is why we should keep helping the NIEHS. There are many good reasons why we should keep helping the NIEHS. These are many reasons why this can make everything better. This can help because rats and mices can show if there is anything wrong with your body and it can help figure out how to make it better. “MIce and Rats may show signs of health problems after only 2 years or so”. This means that they can help find out why the diseases is bad and the reason why its making you sick. I think this is a good idea because they are trying to figure out what's wrong with your health. All and All these are some reasons why we should keep helping the NIEHS. This can help our environment and body healthier. The NIEHS will try to find out how the unhealthy things can make kids really sick they can also find out the consequences that can happen. People may think that the NIEHS doesn't do a lot but I think it does because it can help protect the health of our environment. “ They will try to find out of and how genetic and environmental factors affect children during different parts of their lives”. This means that they can help figure out why this is bad for your body and why this is bad for your body and why this harms the kids. I think they can help make the kids better and they can even help stop the
involved in an offense, for 46 different Group A offenses and 11 different Group B offenses”(2). Even though the NIBRS had more details, and came as a way to solve the problems that the UCR had, the NIBRS still has its fair share of problems leading us to be cautious about this method.
Throughout today’s society, media contributes to almost everyone’s daily life. From informative news channels to comical television shows, media proves to be effective in advertisement, releasing messages and informing the audience. Although media proves to be wildly effective in advertising, releasing messages and informing the audience, periodically destructive and misleading messages are provided to the audience and directly influencing women. Cultural critics widely agree that media tends to negatively influence women and all the critics point to research which supports the belief that women are portrayed as subordinate to men, having no
While it is accurate that the budget proposal by President Trump included cuts to programs such as the National Institute of Health (NIH) budget,8 there are many discrepancies in Dr. Not A. Scientist’s (Dr. N.A.S) article which I will be addressing. As stated in Dr. N.A.S’s op-ed, one of NIH’s goal is to utilize research and scientific resources in order to improve the health of Americans.8 Since we are using taxpayer dollars to fund such programs, it should be up to American citizens to direct where these funds are allocated. Transmission of infectious diseases is always a risk when globalization is
It has recently been brought to my attention that our school is looking to adopt a sustainable menu into our meal program and I would like to give my viewpoint on the matter. As one many students here at Oxford Academy this change will affect me directly. Although people may at first oppose this conversion I think if we are able to overcome the first obstacles, this change would bring a great positive impact to the environment and the health of our students.
he short anecdote above accurately represents the situation of many students across the globe. Throughout the last decade, technology had exploded in a way so immensely that nothing and nobody can stop it. Not even educators. This is why taking the easy way out of assignments has become such a frequently used method by students everywhere. It is evident that students of this generation have become complacent in a “short-cut” society.
Kansas, as well as the other new territories, was extremely valuable to both the North and South, increasing the tension between the two sides. The settlement of Kansas would throw off the unsteady balance in place between the slave and non-slave states. Regarding this balance, Guelzo describes, “Proslavery southerners wanted Kansas, because Kansas sat on the western border of Missouri; a free state would hem in slave state Missouri...eventually so weaken the pro-slavery influence in Missouri that Missourians might abandon slavery, turn Missouri into a free state, and cost the slave South several vital seats in Congress” (1084).The South was faced with a struggle against the North for territorial power. If Kansas became a free state, it would
There are many reasons of why the NIEHS should get the funds but first of all they let you live a healthy life. People have to do many things in these unsafe environments. In Part 1 paragraph 7 it says “The fact is many people have to live, work, and play in environments that cause them to be sick.” These people get sick because of these unsafe environment. They can't move either because they can't get a job elsewhere. The kids don't get to choose where they live so they have to rely on where their parents live, which can be in these unsafe and harmful environments. That is what the NIEHS researchers do, they try to figure out a way to make these environments safer for everyone. This is one of the many reasons why the NIEHS should get the money for their research.
At the beginning of the 20th century, American Progressive methods began changing to fit a new era of economic and social policy. The early 1900s were a time of increasing social awareness and focus on responsible legislation. Some of the economic changes that caused this new Progressive awareness and focus were desire for growth, new moral ideologies, and an orientation around workers' rights.
Secondly, the NEA helps to fund several useful programs for communities. For example, the Endowment funds an anti-drug program run by the YMCA. (Cheseborough 1) This program helps to keep children off the stre ets, off drugs, gives them something const ructive to do, rather then destructive, and helps to educate them about the arts. These programs are very good, and are worthy of government funding.
Learning through health and wellbeing promotes confidence, independent thinking and positive attitudes and characteristics. Because of this, it is the responsibility of every practitioner or carer to contribute to children’s learning and development.
In Amy Chua’s essay, “The Right Road to America” she argues the point that immigration is a great value of this country and that America was built from immigrants. One thing differs from Chua’s essay than from others because she not only gives highly credible facts on how immigrants have helped our country, but she also provides ways to improve the issues of immigration into America. Amy Chua is a highly credible professor at Yale and states throughout her essay that immigrants who possess American values deserve to be here in America and those who don’t should leave. America had always been a country that accepted immigration and allowed all
