Everyday there are many humans who don't track how much time they sleep, I’m one of those humans. People lose sleep without even knowing it, you can fall asleep at a later time on a Tuesday just because your favorite show was on, but before you know it all the sleep adds up and you’ll soon become sleep deprived. Is napping bad? Well, I personally believe it's not because I even take naps myself, if you really think about it, most animals even nap! Most adults and teens believe naps are for kids but that's all wrong, we need naps and I’m here to prove why, just keep reading. Many of our favorite historical figures even napped! According to source #2, “American presidents such as John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton all took frequent

The average college student is deprived at least two full hours asleep each night according to “College Tidbits” a website designed to promote healthy lifestyles and productivity in daily college life. What do people think of when they first hear the word nap? Everyday sayings such as snatching a nap, being caught napping, snoozing, or stealing forty winks are all beneficial daily activities we need to add to our busy life. If we do, we will be more awake and capable to reach our full potential as an individual. People don’t realize how important a nap can be. Although popular beliefs suggest that naps are a waste of time, naps actually increase productivity by resting the brain.
Today in this generation, people think it’s fine to pick up dangerous driving habits because they see others doing the same. Multitasking while driving is one of the most dangerous things you could do while you are behind the wheel. Cellular devices seem to be the number one distraction when it comes to driving. According to NSC’s website about 245,358 car crashes have occurred due to people being on their phones. The question now is should people face a punishment for focusing on other things while driving if caught by the police? In my own opinion, I believe they should get some type of consequence for not being fully aware.
To begin with, sleep is so important that even naps can’t replace it. According to source 1, “However, napping doesn’t provide all of the other benefits of a night-time sleep.” This explains that if you’re feeling drowsy, a nap can provide a short-term boost in alertness and performance, but there are other categories that even a nap can’t fill up. However, taking a nap is still better than not resting at all. It’s because if you don’t have enough sleep, you are more likely to have an accident, injury, or illness. Undoubtedly, sleeping is so important that even naps can't replace it.
When I was younger , I tried countless times to take naps but my body was always full up energy. Even on weekdays after school my cousins would all take their regular naps, I would always choose to go play. Although I am not the one for naps , I do believe me not getting enough rest is not healthy for the body. It is very possible that I could get into napping more if
Sleep deprivation has become a wide spread issue in the United States. This spans from kids as young as 10 as far up as adults in their 40s and 50s. This causes these people to either be not at the top of their game, which can hinder their performance, and it can also make them start to get addicted to caffeinated beverages such as coffee and energy drinks. This issue could be solved with one thing, napping.
Naps some people say they are a bad thing but others like me say they are a good thing in the text it says that historical people use to take naps like john F kennedy and bill clinton to stay in check from all the pressure from being a president of such a strong nation Many people take naps so they can stay up at night so they can focus on their job or whatever they want to do at night without being tired
The question people have spreading around the world is that is napping good or bad so i'm going show you some evidence from all 3 sources from the article. So first off Let's start off with source #1 it states that ¨Naps may provide a short-term boost in alertness and performance¨ However it also states in source #2 that ¨a professor at the University of pennsylvania, found that latting subjects nap for as little as 24 minutes improved their cognitive performance¨. Also in paragraph 5 on source it states that ¨They did research with volunteers. The researchers found that napping improved memory but not alertness.¨ this can help us say why naps are helpful but at the sametime it can't, here's why, because it's telling us that it will improve something that we need but then it's saying that we will not be aware at the time so it's basically a win-lose situation.
In my opinion, I believe that naps can be a good thing for people of all ages. If everyone got the chance to take a thirty minute nap everyday, they could be rejuvenated for the rest of the day and their brain and mental focus would be much greater than those who don't take naps. In addition, routinely losing sleep can also be a bad thing because it is creating sleep debt, which is a total hours of sleep lost over the course of a week, according to The National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute. Another reason why we should take naps is because it boosts your mental capacity, meaning you are able to retain more information when you take a short nap right before or right after you have learned new information.
The wind pushing against my body, as I dare to close my eyes for a second or two hoping I don't hit anything just to once again get the feeling of flying with nothing holding me back. I open my eyes quick making sure I'm not about to fall. My arms are tired, my body is shaking but my legs keep pushing and my mind accepting the challenge my parched body can no longer handle. I push harder with the finish line just two miles away. I pick up my arms from the resting bar and grasp the handle bars.
I believe that napping is a good pratice for adults. It will help adults with not feeling tired and overwhelmed throughout the day. Naps throughtout the day will help adults who can't sleep at night. Also, taking naps will save some people alot of money weekly by not purchasing energy drinks daily to get them thru the day.Not taking naps can result in feeling tired, restless and drinking unhealthy energy drinks. If adults can take naps daily I believe many adults will perform better at work, home and after work with the kids. I personally don't take naps throughout the day, but when I'm off I do before I get my day started. I notice, when I don't take naps I always feel tired. I feel like I always need some

Missing rest due to endless nights, working late, and other possible causes of no sleep can be very draining for humans. People need rest to function throughout the day. A restless human is more so like a walking zombie. Imagine being woke but not awake enough to understand when, where, why, or even how? This has got to be not the best feeling a human can ever experience. Having little to no rest can result in poor health and peculiar actions that the body might not become aware of. In this world, humans have alternatives that they can substitute in place of sleep. Call it an idea, right? High hopes of this alternative actually working is what users desire. Therefore, they use an excessive amount just to ensure that this choice works and does more than the normal. This alternative is known as none the other, caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant compound and chemical substance that affects the central nervous system to increase one’s physical actions. Caffeine is known to give people that energy, boost, and drive to execute themselves throughout the day. Notice people take caffeine for granted when seeing that for the first time it actually works. Nevertheless, this leads to people wanting to feel the substance and perform better just a little more. If the caffeine outcome is successful, the situation may become more of an issue, which could be a caffeine addiction. Society, particularly parents, does not realize the effects of a large caffeine intake. Parents ought to be informed on what caffeine is capable of doing when it comes to the body. Caffeine has the same effects when it comes to intake between children and adults. Of course, adults have bad effects, but children are affected worse, which means these problems can linger long enough to approach them in adulthood. Think about the average adult. When an adult consumes caffeine, the smallest amount has the biggest effect. Keep in mind, even this leaves adults to having a hard time trying to control their body after this intake. Now, think about the average child consuming the same small amount. This results in the caffeine taking control over the child’s body afterwards, in which they cannot control at all. The use of caffeine should be made illegal for
