Parasailing
Have you ever gone parasailing? Well, I have it was honestly the scariest most thrilling thing I have ever done. I got onto the boat to get to the bigger bout and I thought a shark was going to attack me, or I was going to drown. My heart was beating at least 200 beats per second.
Too start off this great story, I got up in the morning of a sunny and bright day at the beach. I was at my Aunt Lorraine's and she was like "Shadee, do you want to do something crazy."
So, I said "yes, of course, I would love to!" Before we went to find something too do we went got breakfast, and picked up my grandmother. Meanwhile sitting at the beach, we saw this yellow banana looking rafts going a crossed the ocean. I asked, " What the heck is that."
They replied," I have no idea." As my Grammy Kim got up, we all got up.
My Aunt rainy asked, "Where are you going."
Kim said, "To see where these boats are taking them. While we walked we found out the yellow raft is called a banana boat. Which was extremely ironic. We laugh for at least ten minutes. It was so funny. The banana boat was taking people to a bigger boat called the Caption.
I said, "Can we go parasailing or just ride the Banana boat?"
As a man started walking up to us he said, "Hi, my name is Seth I work for the banana boat and parasailing company" "Are you guy interested in riding any of these exciting ocean thrillers?" Seth said.
"Yes, I would love to." "Do you two want to?" Asked my Aunt Lorraine.

The wet tiles that were beneath my feet felt cold, and moist. The locker room was filled with the sound of scalding water slapping the tile floor harshly. The room felt hot and humid like a summer day in Florida. I could feel my anxiety burning within me, in the same way a fire burns down a forest. It grows profusely worse as the second hand on the clock above my locker ticks away. I quickly changed into my swim trunks, and crept into the swimming area with fear and anticipation. I tiptoed my way down the stairs that led into the pool. I could feel the brisk water slowly creep up my leg as I forced myself deeper and deeper. I was on my way to my mother who was going to try and teach me how to do a back float. I remember tipping
The coat of armor I adorned, made of down feathers and a nylon shell, yielded no protection against the daggers of that cold winter air. As I peered out toward the horizon, I saw nothing but tree tops, and some snow capped mountain tops in the distance. With my feet bound to freshly waxed skis, the only thing stronger than my ski poles was my determination to get down the mountain.
One day my horse leader called and ask if I would like to go on a over night trail ride with her and a few other people and I was excited to go. So when the day can we loaded up D. D. and another horse at the farm named George. As soon as we got to the trail sight it started raining hard, so we tied the horses up and started to wait it out. By the time dinner came it was too late to go on a ride so after dinner we went to sleep.
Dad, on his way to work, noticed the water rising and the waves splashing over the seawall. He turned the car around and rushed home. Dad dashed into the house yelling, “If we don’t leave immediately, we won’t be able to get out! Pack your bags!”
At the beginning of the day my mom was going to surprise us by bringing us rock climbing. I was with my sisters, and we were on the trampoline. Our mom walks out onto the deck and says “Do any of you want to go rock climbing.”, and we all said “YES”. We jumped in the car and we drove down to St. Cloud State University.
When I got done, my sister and mom were waiting for me so I hurried up and slipped my shoes on then ran out to the car and then we were on our way to the carnival. When we pulled into the parking lot all you could hear was screaming from the people on rides. My mom said, “Ima got home there’s to many people here, but you girls can stay”. So my sister and I got out the car and ran to the both
I thought the water was cold and the salt burned my eyes. Since the salt hurt my eyes we walked to the beach store. They had every thing you would dream of at a beach. We bought some goggles and we also purchased a boogie board. When we got back from the store we thought it was a good time to eat because we were dry. After we ate we went back down to the beach. I put my goggles on and I got my boogie board and I had a blast! I found some really cool shells. After we got some shells we brought them up to our parents. We put them on a towel and when we came back we noticed that some of the shells moved! We all freaked out because we did not know what happened. I watched them for a bit and realized that they were hermit crabs! We returned them to the Gulf and kept swimming. We Went out to dinner at this alligator place. They had real alligators outside the restaurant! We went inside and ate. I had some chicken with fries. We got a appetiser that had the alligator. I really wanted to try it and see what it taste like. I took a bite and liked it! I took a bite of my chicken and I could not taste a difference. After that we went mini golfing. I came in second and my Grandma came in first. She golfs on like a real
I was seven years old and it was in the middle of the summer and I almost got run over by a car. The day was going really good just like any other summer day; I got up, got dressed, ate breakfast, and went outside to play. For breakfast that day we had pancakes that tasted like they were made by angels. Before Chris and I went outside our mom yelled, “Be back by lunch or I’m going to send your dad out there to get you!”
My father drops me off at school on a Saturday morning at 7:00 am with me fully dressed in the brown and turquoise snowsuit my mama had gotten me a few days before. As we pull into the elementary schools parking lot we see a dozen of other kids fully dressed to go on the ski and snowboarding trip like myself. I have never gone skiing before but I'm sure it will be fun, Daddy says that once I learn we can go up to the Bogus ski resort as a family. I say goodbye to my daddy and wish that he would be the one picking me up later that night when we get back but he has to take care of my baby sister Anna since Mama is gone. She won't be gone for long though, because she is coming back home tomorrow or the next day. Whenever the weather is good for
A few minutes later, they arrived at the bank where Mushroom Man was waiting. "There you guys are," he said. "I was waiting for a long time." "Sorry about that," Jessica said. "It took a while to choose a name." "It's fine," Mushroom Man said. "So, what are you going to call yourselves?" He said in curiosity. "Well I'm calling myself Banana Queen, and Kevin is calling himself Bomb-om Boy." Jessica said. "So wait, you have a costume. When will we get ours?" Jessica said. "I thought you'd ask that question, so I came prepared." Mushroom Man pulled out two costumes, one yellow and white and one black and navy blue. "Wow," Kevin said. "Those look awesome." Mushroom Man handed the yellow and white one to Jessica, and the black and navy blue one
I remember a time in my life not too long ago when my family and I went white water rafting for the first time. We had been spending some of our summer vacation at a cabin in the Smokey Mountains, close to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The next day we would experience feelings of exhilarating excitement, with a sense of suspense and anticipation as we rafted down the Nantahala River.
Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three- day long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. We needed to be in Tampa for our departure, so we drove the two hours from Orlando, Florida to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My Dad and I used this time to talk, make plans for the trip and think about our upcoming adventures on the cruise.
Our family has rules set that say you have to be 10 years of age or older to go on our Canada family fishing trip. At our family gatherings I hear so many stories of how many fish that they caught. I am filled with anticipation to go with them and catch some of those great big fish. I have dreamed of the day now it is here I am ready to go, my bags were packed, the boat all clean and off we went.
Everybody is on or has been on a journey before. Being on a journey is very important because it gives you a goal or task that you want to accomplish. When you go on a journey you find is yourself through the experiences and obstacles that life throws at you. Throughout a journey, you are taught life lessons and have the capability of applying that new knowledge for the future for a better outcome. Sometimes, these life lessons challenge you and you ultimately succeed at the end. For the past 5 months, I have been on a journey as I have been learning a new instrument that I’ve always wanted to learn since I was a little kid. Being on this path has taught me many life lessons and how to stay focused on what really matters.
One morning my dad and I woke up in our hotel room watching the glorious sunrise and were quietly walking down the hallway of the hotel to go to the lobby. In the lobby, there were these huge advertisement banners hanging up that said, "Take a roll through the desert." There were pictures of people riding ATV's in the desert so we decided to go on an adventure.
