1. Discuss why Chris started her company and what was the opportunity?
Chris’s opportunity was that people are constantly reaching out to companies for photo archives. She saw this with her previous work experiences with NASCAR. Fans were constantly reaching out to get copies of archives. These companies are unable to fulfill the request of these people fully. If these companies had someone who took control of all of these photo archives they would be able to fulfil these requests with ease. This opportunity prompted Chris to start her company. She understood the process she would have to go through to get these photo archives out there. Chris would scan and upload these images to online search engines. She would also tag them with easy to read labels so people could easily locate them. Her company would be able to make a profit by doing all of this.

NASCAR is a sport of racing that most people try to say it’s not a sport just because they just make left turns only which is false, because the also make left and right turns on two scheduled events that they make twice a year. Many people don’t understand the physics of a NASCAR car of how they run and how they are developed to run as fast as they go and how they handling speeds from 55 to 200+MPH.The physics of NASCAR also is developed on wind tunnels and simulation different race tracks as well. These cars have a lot of key roles that science is important for these, for example a car body has to be so smooth that the air flow goes over the car in areas that are very important so the car won’t have some drag but has some drag so that the
The Board of Directors consisted primarily of Gerry Wiegert, John Pope, and Barry Rosengrant. Gerry was the President, so it was typical for him to be a part of the board. John Pope was a financial consultant; therefore, he was adequate to be the financially literate person on the board. Barry was in real estate, but he was a consultant of Vector Car which gave him some knowledge of the company. Dan Harnett and George Fencl were also a part of the board for some point of time; they also had adequate knowledge to be capable additions to the board with their knowledge of law and

This will explain the basics of a Dragster Racing, how you would race and test a Dragster Car and what vocabulary you need to know for the Dragster car’s function and structure.
NASCAR is one of the most rapidly growing sports in the world. There are people who think that NASCAR is just a bunch of hicks going around in circles, but it takes skill to drive at two-hundred miles per hour. I am going to talk about the history of NASCAR, early drivers of NASCAR, the three NASCAR divisions, the rules, and the new technology.
Bob did a really good job in selecting the outside talent to represent on the advisory board. Bob knew that the family owned businesses had their own challenges so he chose Barry Ready, President of Readymade Office Systems, to join the Board because of the similarities between the two businesses. Bob also brought in functional experts Dick Crandall (finance) and Jim Carter (sales and marketing). Later, Bob added Peggy Thomas to bring diversity to the board and Mark Anderson, COO of Portland Timber, because of his real estate expertise.
There are two popular sports that many feel is both number one in the sports entertainment world today, NFL and NASCAR. Both the NFL and NASCAR have many things that compare them to be the same, but there are differences that set them apart. These two sports have sponsors that support or fund each sport. They also are a team sport that takes many players to achieve a goal of winning. Lastly, each sport wears uniforms to show identity.
In barrel racing circles, Latricia Duke, trainer at Schiller Ranch, is known for her uncanny ability to take a young prospect and turn it into a top-producing futurity horse. But her horses don’t stop after their futurity years. Many of them go on to become open and pro rodeo horses, a clear indication she trains them to be in the race for the long haul.
Chris Peterson is racing in the biggest and the frist race of the year as his frist cup stock car race. The cup level is the highest level of stock car racing competition. Chris Peterson cut right in front of another car and that cause that car to spin hit another car. That
A. Describe the skills, knowledge and expertise each member that you selected brings to the team. As appropriate, what specific role would you assign to each team member?
NASCAR is one of the biggest sports in the United States. It is also one of the more dangerous sports. Within the past 20 years alone we have lost NASCAR great Dale Earnhardt as well as fourth generation driver Adam Petty to fatal crashes on the track just to name a few. Earnhardt’s death came as he hit the wall going at 160 miles per hour at the 2001 Daytona 500. Petty lost his life in a fatal crash at the New Hampshire Speedway during a practice run. Petty lost control of his car crashing head on into the turn three wall. Both of these accidents killed the drivers instantly when they collided with the wall fracturing their skulls. From these tragedies rose many new safety features such as the Steel and Foam Energy Reduction (SAFER) barrier and the Head and Neck Support (HANS) device. But even with all of these safety improvements there still have been drivers injured in crashes. So what can NASCAR do to further ensure the safety of their drivers? Actually there is a lot that NASCAR can do and some of it is a lot simpler then what we have anticipated.
Members Characteristics – Overall, Hausman did a good job on assembling his board of directors. When determining who will make a good board member there are several things to look for. First a good board has an expert in legal matters, accounting, marketing, human resources, and finance. The only expert missing from RO’s board is a human resources expert. Next it is important to ensure that all board members will be able to regularly attend meetings. While most board members were local, several were not, and it was an area RO could improve. Also for outside members of the board, it is important to have knowledge of the industry and/or target market. With the appointment of the EVP of a large health snack company, Hausman made a good appointment (although location is an issue), but the knowledge that the CEO of the tech company may bring to the table may not be valuable. Finally, it is important to have complimentary personality traits. Overall, the RO’s board of directors is a strong, valuable board.
