“Persons who do not conform to the group pattern tend to have fewer communications addressed to them if they are rejected but tend to have more communications addressed to them if they are not rejected.” (Leon Festinger and John Thibaut) At first upon being introduced to Pam’s family and friends, Greg is made to feel out of place due to a multitude of inside jokes and unfamiliar references and behaviors. He is treated with condescending comments and jokes at his expense, like when the swimming trunks he borrows ‘turn out’ to be too small for him. Even during the volleyball game, Greg did not get any support from his teammates and was jeered at for not playing well, which leads to him accidentally giving Pam’s sister a black eye when he actually did do well. Needless to say, that did not get him any closer to the others. The first instance of him being accepted into the group was when he finds and returns an impostor of the lost house cat, Jynx,

A saying that stands true to Bristol Blues infielder Max Goione as he has turned it around both offensively and defensively for the Blues this season. In his first six games with the Blues, Goione was batting .150 with no homers and one RBI. Since June 13, Goione is batting .257 with one home run and three RBIs, raising his batting average to .218. In this article the writer, Greg Silver, starts out by talking about a 25 year old waitress who has broken her arm, and has no insurance or money for the medical bills. Due to these reasons her arm healed on its own but healed crooked. This has caused it to be painful for her to hold a tray while working. She asked the writer what was she supposed to do. Greg Silver has been a primary care physician for 30 years now and he’s heard so many stories from Americans who don’t have insurance or the money for their medical bills, so they suffer in pain. “Even with the affordable care act we leave 28 million people without any coverage.” He talks about how we need a streamlined single-payer program that would provide universal coverage for everyone, “such as Rep. John Conyers’ House Resolution 676 and Sen. Bernie Sanders’ Senate Bill 1804.”
