The National Honor Society is a prestigious organization that recognizes students who stand out among their peers. Being nominated to be a member of such distinguished organization is a privilege itself. I believe I demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service and character, therefore I would be honored to be a part of the National Honor Society. As an ambitious, hardworking student, I hope to gain the skills and confidence achieved from being a member of this respected society.

I am and have always been a straight A student with school being one of my top priorities. Last year, I finished 9th grade with a GPA of 4.29. I have been awarded for my outstanding academic performance by receiving Principal and Presidential Honor Rolls every semester. I strive to complete challenging courses to demonstrate myself and others how hard work pays off. For instance, I have completed my AP Spanish course and got a 5 on the test, and currently I’m participating in the AP World History course. In addition, I am highly interested in expanding my cultural knowledge. For that reason, I am learning my third language, French. On the other hand, I also pursuit artistic and athletic accomplishments. I am greatly honored of having the opportunity of applying to the National Honor Society. My goal led me to play my three favorite sports, all four years of high school.
