In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania of 1837, the first higher education institution for African Americans was founded on February 25th given the name Institute for Colored Youth (originally the African Institute). After changing its name again to Cheyney University of Pennsylvania and moving to Delaware County, Pennsylvania, it continues as the oldest predominantly African American school of higher learning. The institute was founded by Richard Humphreys, a Quaker philanthropist who donated 10,000 dollars to establish a school that would educate young African American male and females the skills needed to become more competitive in the job market (Conyers, 1990). The school taught basic subjects such as math, reading and writing, as well as agriculture and mechanics. William Peace University in downtown Raleigh, NC, is a little, private school that offers single guys degree programs in a large group of human sciences and sciences majors. As a military wife one of my greatest duties is to support my husband while he supports our nation. That duty has led to our family having to relocate and change many aspects of our lives including which school I attend. I am thankful that that obligation is now making it possible for me to potentially attend The George Washington University. While transferring midway through a degree certainly is not ideal I do feel like this is a remarkable opportunity that I am eager to embrace. I cannot help but feel as if my journey in higher education is finally getting where it was supposed to be all along. As a teenager, I envisioned life at my age and it never involved four children and a halfway complete English degree. I had planned to attend the university in my hometown and then, after four perfect years of course, become a wonderful high school English teacher just doing what I loved every day.

Florida State University, founded in 1851. It has an undergraduate class of 32,948. Its urban lifestyle makes for a comfortable life on campus life. The campus has 475 acres. It uses a semester based calendar. Florida State University's ranking in Best Colleges, 96. Its in state tuition and fees are $6,507. Out of state tuition and fees are $21,673.

Upper Iowa University began on very humble terms. The university started out in 1854 when a pioneer woman convinced her husband and son-in-law to donate 10 acres and 10,000 dollars to start a local school. Through the years, Upper Iowa University gradually expanded into one of the most popular higher learning institutions in the Midwest. During the 1990s and until the present time, the university has expanded into 25 campuses throughout the nation and globe. These 25 educational locations include single campuses in Arizona, Illinois and Oklahoma and two locations in Kansas. There are five locations in both Iowa and Louisiana and Wisconsin has ten campuses. There are global campuses in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

My college is southern methodist university in Dallas, TX which is 181 miles from home. Southern methodist university is 234 ares wide and has approximately 11,739 student enrolled there.They are ranked on of the nation's most prestigious institutions of higher education. They were founded in 1911 by the Methodist Episcopal church.

Washington State University starts accepting applications in January for the spring semester. Applicants who are in the top 10 percent of their class or have a 3.5 GPA may automatically qualify for admission. Students should submit their official high school transcripts and official SAT or ACT scores to the school. Washington State University requires ACT or SAT scores as part of the freshman admission process. Adult students over the age of 25 must submit additional information. This includes a resume covering the last five years and a short essay about motivation and goals. The university accepts the ACT and both the old and new SAT scores. Graduate students must submit letters of recommendation that should touch on their skills, interests, leadership and academic standards. Certain departments may require GRE or GMAT. International students must submit TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB scores.

The admissions process is analyzed by determining what “ideal students” are, as a more concrete answer may be deduced about how this admissions game works and how to solve this equation. I believe that education is the key to every person to be successful and to develop his/her society and the country. My aim to pursue Construction Project Management is to improve and widen my skills and knowledge and have a professional contribution to the world because this course will add value of my bachelor degree of science in Quantity Surveying. I am building my career in construction industry and it is required to have a high education background to be competitive on the market. This will only be achieved through learning, practicing and getting experience. The course will open a whole new world of opportunities to enhance my employability by adding to my curriculum vitae an internationally respected and recognized qualification. The mean GPA for the sample was 3.23 (4.0 = maximum). Students’ mean performance in the six majors’ courses ranged from B to A-. The 200-level foundational course had the highest mean quality points (11.72) compared to the other five required courses. Across all six courses, students were more likely to earn A’s (22 - 90%) than C’s (0.5% - 6%).

Additionally, engineering program curriculum of the 10 universities, mentioned previously, are also researched in order to find out whether their engineering programs have any cooperation courses for BIM education. In engineering program, BIM is able to apply on administration of construction process, integrated design delivery project, construction management, structural analysis, and costing construction, and it has many other related subjects which is able to applied indirectly. However, only 2 universities have BIM course, and 1 university is planning to apply into the engineering program curriculum among the previously mentioned 10 university. According to the Universities’ engineering program curriculum, their major goal of the courses is that students have effective architectural digital design skill and flexibly responding technique to the design changes during the project. Moreover, during the courses, student can understand how data or information of architectural design is shared with construction by computer science and digital technology in design and construction phase. Therefore, according to the researches in terms of BIM course in architecture and
