While I’m attending college, I want to have a clear visualization of my career goal after receiving my bachelor’s degree and finishing medical school. I believe Sam Houston State University can help me achieve my goals while learning and gathering new information about how I will take the next step to achieve my goals.
My desired career is to become an Obstetrician and gynecologist. The development of a newborn is fascinating to me, as well as the brain development and how the mother and child depend on each other for survival. As an obstetrician my job would be to make sure the mother and child stays healthy throughout the time of pregnancy, childbirth, and post childbirth. To be able to answer the anxious questions new parents have for their

If I can find a way to prevent an umbilical cord from suffocating the fetus in the mother’s womb or a child from being born premature, I will use my education and open mind to find solutions to problems that have yet to be solved. I want to save as many lives as I can, mother and child.
My main goal is to be beneficial to society and a role model to myself, my sister and other children who was told their goals were unreachable, because of their race or where they came from. I want to be independent, not relying on my parents or anyone else to support myself. If I’m not able to support myself, how can I expect to support my future family or my parents, once they can’t support themselves?
Before I can achieve my career goal, I must first achieve my educational goal of graduating from high school with my associates degree before continuing my education for two years at Sam Houston State University earning my bachelor's degree of science and finally heading to University of Texas Houston Medical Center to continue my medical pathway. I feel confident in my goal and what I will accomplish in the next 10 years. Before I am 27 I will be a successful, independent, young, black woman who has achieve their goal. Proving to myself and others, if you work hard enough you can accomplish
My goal in life is to pursue a career I will love participating in and commit to fully.
My career path is to be a nurse and help the unwilling and disabled... My dream is to become a successful person and influence the younger generation to the same for their
My College and Career goals include graduating college and getting a job. I wish to attend the University of Alabama. I plan to major in occupational therapy or speech therapy. After I graduate with my bachelor's degree I wish to get my master's degree. After I finish my schooling I want to receive a job that allows me to provide for my family. I wish to receive this job in my degree's field. After receiving this job I wish to improve to reach a leadership role.
My career goal is to become an Occupational Therapist and specialize in pediatrics. I want to specialize in pediatrics because I have always loved to be around children and be able to help them in whatever they need. Also, pediatrics is important to me because kids are our future and if I can help kids for their future I will be glad to do so. Helping kids become more independent on their activities of daily living makes me happy because I am helping them to become more independent and make them feel like they can accomplish anything. In order to be able to do this I have to get a Master Degree and I plan on getting this degree from Loma Linda University. In five years I see myself working in the Occupational Therapy setting and working with kids. I see myself, making others
I specifically wish to become a Pediatrician, the love and patience I have for children is insane. I love helping kids and working with them. Because of my medical class, I can become a medical assistant right after high school, but I really want to get a college degree and follow my dad’s steps.
As for my career goals, I hope to work in a hospital and use my degree to the best of my ability to help others. My main objective is to commit myself to lifelong learning. The medical field is an ongoing field; the learning never ends just like technology, medicines and new findings never end. Therefore, I have to be fully committed to continue learning even once I have obtained my degree. In addition, I want to
The career I would like to pursue would be Ultrasonography. Ultrasonography is a diagnostic medical procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to see images of a patients internal organs, tissues and blood flow. I first became interested in this field when I became pregnant with my first child. I thought that the ability to see images on the inside of a person's body was very intriguing. I've had many ultrasounds in my lifetime and my favorite were always the ones where I got to see the development of my baby. To be able to see a human being before it's even born is one of the most phenomenal things you could ever imagine. To be an sonographer would be a very rewarding career in so many ways. I would be able to help my patients who were hurt or injured, yet I would also be able to show expecting parents there
My goal since middle school has always been to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Neonatal nurse practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses trained to work with newborn infants. Ever since I was younger I have always felt a connection to little kids, especially babies. I find it gratifying to know that I can help save a newborns life so they get the chance to one day be where I am, chasing my goals and aspirations. I also like the idea
The career path that I am choosing to follow is Diagnostic Medical Sonography. This career involves the use of frequency waves to view tissues; organs and blood flow inside of the body. My main career goals involve getting into the program, then getting a solid career in this profession. From there I plan on growing and getting even more education if it is offered, as well as branching out into other fields of Songraphy.
Many people think that doctors are stuck up and only care about themselves but I do not think that is true. Everyday, doctors come into work to save someone else's life and that is not selfish by far. If someone is in need of help and there are no doctors around except for myself, I would be able to help them because I have experience. I would also appreciate life more because I would know how it feels like to be in a life or death situation and how devastating it could be. One day someone could be doing just fine, then the next day they could be laying on their deathbed with only a few days to live. Being a neonatal physician, I would learn many things about medicine and how to treat others. Overall accomplishing my goal, I would become a better
When it comes to my education and career goals I have very many. The first one is to finish high school and in Fall 2017 I will be attending National Park College for the RN to BSN program. After I gain field experience I plan on furthering my education and becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Currently taking a Medical Professions and Terminology class at National Park to help further my knowledge for this career. Through this class I have also become a Certified Medical Billing Specialist (CMBS) and a Certified Medical Records Technician (CMRT).
Once I complete school, my plans are to obtain a degree in nursing, and I plan to become a Neonatal Nurse and work in a hospital with a high risk NICU: I knew I wanted to pursue a career as a nurse when my oldest son was born prematurely at 24 weeks. I watched a group of nurses’ work day in and day out for 4 ½ months care for a room full of sick babes. After seeing first-hand, the dedication and hard work it took to care for these sick babies I knew that it what I wanted to do.
My life’s goals have never always been clear to me. That is until my educational objectives came into perspective. After highschool, I plan to further my education by attending the University of Evansville. At the University of Evansville, I plan to major in nursing. After I get my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, I am going to stay at the University of Evansville to pursue my graduate degree to become a Physician Assistant.
The career that I have been ardent about for many years and hope to pursue is in the medical field. I hope to become a Registered Nurse in the near future. Also, to fulfil my dreams of helping people everyday and doing what I enjoy tremendously. I find this particular career very fascinating and alert.
My selected career would be an OB/GYN or something in the medical field. I am very interested in that career because it's inspiring how someone can have such a huge impact on people's lives. I became interested in being in the medical field at a very young age, and it is a huge goal of mine to stay true to my dream. From being at doctors offices and hospitals monthly and sometimes weekly when I was in elementary school, I am very used to being around doctors and medicine.
