O.J. vs the People
Have you ever been accused of an atrocity? Orenthal James, otherwise known as O.J.
Simpson was vindicated for the murders of his ex-wife and her friend. Everyone was wondering how an elite football player could commit this abject crime. He is not guilty yet; however, he is most likely the murderer.
Mr. James became a part of the National Football League, joining the Buffalo Bills in
1969, and he was nicknamed “The Juice.” Even though he was a famous person, many people still accused him of the flagrant act. In the year of 1989, the couple got into a fight, where he wreaked his anger by threatening to kill her. He contradicted his statement in an interview with ESPN, noting "We had a fight. We were both guilty. No one was hurt. It was no big deal, and we got on with our life." She filed for divorce in 1992.

Simpson's legal problems were far from over. Particularly, he was brought back to court for a civil trial, and in February 1997 he was found liable for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, and ordered to pay their families 33.5 million dollars because he razed, or destroyed the two people’s homes. This has caused many uprising questions about O.J. Simpson. Furthermore, Simpson did not go to jail for the murders that he was accused of. On the other hand, Simpson continues to serve his sentence at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada, for kidnapping, robbery, and burglary with a firearm. He will be eligible for parole in October 2017.
Given these facts, I believe that Orenthal James committed the two murders, even though there was no real evidence. With this in mind, I believe that the truth will come out, for Mark 4:22 says, for nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light. This is one of the most famous trials, it even aired on television. Even though the evidence never lies, which side do you choice O.J. or the

This topic has been all over the news and all over social media. It has been announced that O.J Simpson has been released from prison. After serving nine years behind bars for armed robbery and kidnapping conviction. O.J is finally out of prison. Although he is out from prison, Simpson isn’t yet quite a free man. He will have a lot to face now that he is back out in the streets. It isn’t going to be as easy as he thinks it will be for him to be wondering the streets.
If I was a juror in the OJ Simpson case I believe I would find him not guilty. You would think all the blood evidence would be the strongest but it’s not. In both ways the blood evidence could find him guilty and not guilty. The blood evidence if it had been collected correctly would have given us great clues pointing us to the fact of if OJ had committed the crime. Since it was not done correctly the defense attorney(s) were able to disprove the evidence as not true. This is why the blood evidence is the strongest evidence but also not the strongest, it all depends on what verdict you believe OJ should have been found as.
This documentary was a collection of many primary sources, mainly news footage, from June 17, 1994, that showed how various events unfolded as most of the public at the time would have seen them happening. This day was already a big day for sporting events: the NY Rangers won the Stanly Cup, the soccer World Cup was kicked off, the Nicks eventually win the NBA finals, golfer Arnold Palmer plays his last U.S. Open, and in baseball an attempt is made to break the record for home runs. However, as notable as all those events are, they were eclipsed by OJ Simpson’s thrilling attempt to evade police after his ex-wife’s murder, even the sports reporters covering their respective events were talking about it.
"You never know someone until you've seen them behind closed doors". Orenthal O.J. Simpson lived a rough life growing but, instead of that taking over his life he decided to make a change by becoming a football hall of fame, actress/tv star and later being turned to a serial killer. Was the killing done out of love or spight? Or did he even do it?
The prosecution called 78 witnesses with Allan Park, O.J.’s limo driver, being the best witness they had placing O.J. within the timeline of the murders(Geis & Bienen, 2016). The crime happened sometime after 10 pm before O.J. had left for LAX to travel to Chicago for a business meeting(Geis & Bienen, 2016). Allan Park testified that he was at O.J. Simpson’s house and knocked on his door at 10:25 pm but there was no response(Geis & Bienen, 2016). Mr. Park stated he did not see O.J.’s white Bronco anywhere and assumed he was not home yet(Geis & Bienen, 2016). At 10:56 pm, Mr. Park saw O.J. enter the front of his home(Geis & Bienen, 2016). Mr. Park noticed O.J. was very anxious and was
Former NFL Star, Heisman trophy winner, Orenthal James Simpson, better known as O.J. Simpson, has a lengthy history of encounters with law enforcement. He was incarcerated when he was fifteen for gang related fighting (“O.J. Simpson” Contemporary). In 1989 he pleaded no contest to beating and threatening to kill Nicole Brown, his wife at the time, and faced minimal consequences (Mydens). In 1995, after a yearlong criminal trial, he was acquitted of the murder of Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman, and later found liable for the murders in a civil case in 1997. His final account with the law, that defined his destiny, was in 2007 when he was arrested in Las Vegas on ten felony charges. The final case went to trial in 2008, when he was
Simpson showed up at his first court appearance on June 21 and he pleaded not guilty to the two murders. A jury was formed right away to see if there was enough evidence to press charges on OJ Simpson. Two days later on June 23, the jury was dismissed because there was so much media coverage on this case and they did not want the jury to be influenced by it. The new jury was also likely to be influenced by the media. A week long hearing took place and finally a California court superior judge ruled that there was enough evidence to try OJ Simpson for the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ronald

Most crimes now-a-days just get swept under the rug. Unless there is public outcry or the media decides that it can benefit their company. Then there is Orenthal James Simpson aka “O.J. Simpson”. Former 1968 Heisman trophy winner, and 1985 NFL Hall of Famer inductee. All those accolades didn’t do anything to help him on June 12, 1994 when Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman were found murdered at the Simpson household in Brentwood, California. O.J. was charged with both their deaths, he later would be acquitted of all charges. His lawyer was Robert Kardashian the father of Kim Kardashian.

A crime being committed is the first event to initiate our criminal justice system. On June 12th 1994 a double murder was reported at the residence of Nicole Brown Simpson the ex-wife of the then beloved Orenthal James (OJ) Simpson. It was discovered that Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman had been brutally murdered and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) began their investigation, this being the second step in our criminal justice system.
It is difficult to believe that O.J. Simpson was once a respected and celebrated professional football player, sports commentator, and actor. However, his image was irrevocably shattered on June 17, 1994 when Simpson was involved in a car chase that lasted about an hour on California's I-405 (O.J. Simpson leads L.A. police on a high-speed chase, 2013). Dubbed the "Crime of the Century," O.J. Simpson's trial was a media circus and was sensationalized for a number of reasons including Simpson's status as a celebrity, the mishandling of evidence, and the issue of race.
O.J Simpson should have been found guilty due to his violent actions on June 12th, 1994. There were many actions or causes that led up to his violent act. The main and most known cause of Simpson’s act was “infidelity”. Simpson’s wife Nicole Simpson had been spending too much time with a man by the name of Ronald Goldman. When O.J became suspicious, he took immediate action.
