The song Outsiders is talking about when someone is feeling left out in the world. In society today, it is a hard to fit in because they say that everyone should look a certain way or act a certain way. Some people are called outsiders, which means we are not like everyone else but can be a good thing because it makes us unique. It also talks about how being outsiders is who we are and forget the other people that do not like us for being ourselves. That means it is better to be ourselves than to pretend to be someone we not just to fit in society.

The song Outsiders can relate to Clarisse because she is different from the rest of the citizens in the society. She is trapped in this society that is broken by making people act the same way, and think the same way. Clarisse is known as antisocial and weird but in reality it's the society that is weird for making it dull and lackluster. The society does not want books because they do not want people to be smart, which causes violence and war. Since the firemen, burn the books and those who read are saving people from violence and are happy people. A society without books and knowledge is a better place and everything is a perfect. The society just wants peace among people and them to stay happy. In the song I’ll Be Good by Jaymes Young is about how a guy who was that had a horrible past and made mistakes throughout his life. This explains to us that we as human beings will have past that we would never want to remember ever again. In reality, our past helps us wake up and realize that we should change and become a better person. Our pasts also help us become the person we are today and teach us lessons from our mistakes. Now in the present, we are a better person because we learned from our past and to find who we are
