Thank you for spending time with me today to explore the Risk Environment within PNC. You are a very straight shooter and I appreciate the fact that you took time out of your day to share in your experience and to talk. Your level of engagement in our conversation was both enlightening and candid. If given the opportunity, I hope that I can use my experience to contribute to your organization. I look forward to hearing from you.
Field Technician with over 31 years of experience in the HVAC industry and who better to interview than ones father. I started the conversation with an important question that will help in the future. “Knowing what you know now, what are some pieces of knowledge you think newcomers should understand?” Chris responded with, “Don’t become discouraged starting out because you don’t have all the answers to the problems you’re faced with.” Chris was trying to get at that many problems arise on calls from a day to day basis and when your new, you don’t have the experience to expertly diagnose every problem to which may become frustrating. My next question asked, “What is the most difficult aspect of your job?” to which Chris responded with, “The summer season is long and grueling and includes many hours driving between calls and the physical demands the job calls for due to the extreme heat and extended work hours.” My last question left on a positive note of, “What is the best aspect to your job?” Chris said, “Meeting a diverse demographic and helping out those who are in need keeps me coming back for more each and every day. Becoming skilled in what you do and also being introduced to new problems each day and being able to solve them reminds me of why I chose this career. Meeting people from all walks of life and being able to solve their problems for not only theirs, but my benefit is one

You always notify me of any significant concerns and seek direction regarding those concerns when needed. During this year, it was imperative that all conversion reassessments were completed. You were instrumental in working through this process. You tracked the pending conversion assessments and worked well with me to develop and put into place a plan to complete these assessments. This included you assisting staff with data entry and completing data entry on provider conversions. You were a tremendous help in the Region reaching its goal for completion of these assessments. You continue to have a positive attitude toward what seem to be ever-changing priorities. This positive attitude is reflected in the attitudes of your staff whose priorities change from month to month.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your company. After our conference call last month, I was very exciting to work with you to provide many different services to your clients.
Thank you for making my practicum rewarding and exciting. I look forward to keeping in touch with you and your staff as I continue in the field of Health Information Technology.

Thank you for your time yesterday in order to discuss FLDP and your career path within the organization. It was great to learn more about the program and your perspective. Most of all, thank you for providing me with an opportunity to interview in the coming weeks. I will reach out the week of the tenth in order to sort out the time, date, and location with the recruitment team if I do not hear anything sooner. Please let them know that I would be more than willing to travel to a J&J site of their choosing to conduct the formal interview on the week of the eighteenth.
The experience and knowledge you have is a great asset of yours. You always welcome my questions (even the ones not connected with PFHS/ time charter/ finalization, etc.) and go into details until sure I have the whole picture. I also cannot miss to mention that it is noticeable how you share information which you consider valuable to be known with the team.
In addition to experiencing an enjoyable and informative interview, I came away feeling genuinely enthusiastic about the projects and clientele I may be working with. The insight you provided to me regarding the duties and responsibilities was most valuable. As you requested, I have enclosed a copy of my resume. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The Department of Defense (DoD) is increasingly challenged to assess and manage risk in an exceedingly dynamic threat environment. Risk Management includes multiple steps of which risk identification is the foundation of the process. A flawed identification of threats is shaky ground from which to build the remaining risk management steps. Mitigating a threat is this actually not a threat is a poor use of resources and potentially indicates that another threat is not being mitigated or managed. To further constrain the process, mitigation strategies are limited by a finite amount of resources, including personnel, money, time and political acceptance. Therefore, it is extremely important that the risk identification process is as accurate as possible.
