I want to be a Paleontologist A paleontologist is a man or women who finds or studies dinosaurs or fossilized plants and life. A paleontologists work environment is badlands, the artic or around the world. To be a paleontologist you have to have a good diploma in science or geology. The average payment of a paleontologist is $91,920. The future outlook of a paleontologist is geology and excellent. This job stands out from other scientific jobs because you can find new species and why it is important is it tells the past. Why we find these fossils is to find clues on what happened in the past. Some similar occupations are geoscientist, geographer and hydrologist. These occupations are similar because they are finding fossils and the past.
Pursuing geology as a career began as a child, enjoying playing in the rocks as do many adolescent children. Most of my youthful endeavors of this sort took place at my grandparent’s home in Jefferson City, Missouri. Specifically in their front and side yards in which they had pleasant shrubbery to match the gravel of which their grandson had intentions of creating into excavation sites. Minus the commercial equipment of course. For theatrical sake, let us imagine a five year old running a backhoe. Supervised or not, it is quite a petrifying thought. While amongst the rocks years later, thoughts about history that could be found within them arose. Then began my interest in common fossils, preserved in the rocks found at any average
| Geological oceanographers and geophysicists explore the ocean floor and map submarine geologic structures. Studies of the physical and chemical properties of rocks and sediments give us valuable information about Earth’s history.

archaeologist- Its a scientist who studies human history by digging up human remains and artifacts.
Nursing is an important scientific career as it benefits society, by utilising their knowledge in medicine. Nursing is seen as an important profession for it makes the health field function properly through assisting other medical staff such as doctors. They help doctors by caring, cleaning and distributing medications to their patients. Nurses contribute to society by providing help to individuals in need and they work as part of a team of professional and medical staff that promotes and restores patients’ health. Nursing jobs include treating patients who are sick and injured, offering supports to patients and their families and taking care of paperwork. An important scientific career is nursing as it provides patients with medical
Paleontology or paleobiology is the study of plant, animal, and microorganism fossils found on the earth. Paleobotany focuses on algae, fungi, mosses, ferns, seed plants
The first chapter of the book discusses the way we can use fossil records to study the biological world. Fossils are one of the major lines of evidence we use to understand ourselves. Surprisingly, we are able to discover them with a high amount of precision and predictability. In particular, field paleontologists have it easier than it has ever been before due to the current information age. The physical hunt for important fossils, however, is much like it has always been. Three factors limiting the number of useful fossil sites include rock age, type (whether or not it can preserve fossils), and number of exposed rocks. So, it takes a bit of luck to reliably find fossils. Thankfully, rock
There are hundreds of career paths and options, which can be overwhelming and exciting. I have looked into many possibilities and wanted to talk to a speech pathologist about their career and responsibilities. Speech pathologists, also known as speech-language pathologists or speech therapists, help individuals with a multitude of disorders, associated with swallowing, speech, and language. They can work in schools, hospitals, specialty clinics, or through private practice. I chose to interview Sherri Anderson, a speech pathologist for Rock Creek Elementary School in the Beaverton School District in Oregon. Ms. Anderson originally got a degree in English, and worked for a bookstore for a decade before going back to school to become a speech
The palebians made up the majority of the population. But they were not allowed to have any say in political issues. The palebians were the poor, lower class citizens who couldn't become priests or be a part of the senate. They were the peasants, craftsmen, farmers, and shopkeepers. On the other hand, the patricians were the ones who were wealthy (the upper class) and the only ones that could have power in religious offices, in the senate, and could control over the military. Unllike the Palebians, the patricians were the smaller part of the population that had all the power. But just because the Patricians had all the control over Rome, this did not mean that the Palebians weren't important or "necessary"
Even though Paleo is a very easy diet to keep by, the food prepared by its practitioners on a regular basis runs the risk of becoming boring and repetitive. With seemingly so few ingredients to put on the table, dieters can often benefit from a couple of easy tips to mix up their food and add something new to their daily meals.
The biology career that i choose to do my research paper project on was a Microbiologist which is a biologist that studies is a scientist who studies microscopic life forms like cells and processes or works in the field of microbiology. The job of a microbiologist is to study bacteria, virus, cells, and other organisms that can not be seen with the naked eye they do that so they can reroute viruses or bacteria that can harm humans to make life safe harm humans to try to reroute them and make them non harmful towards humans. A microbiologist would study ebola or the flu virus to come up with a cure. This means they have a part in health care because they cure diseases and/or fight against them. I will be discussing a Microbiologist from their
Paleopathological findings indicate the presence of tumors through animals well before prehistoric times. Steven Hajdu explains that written descriptions of cancer date back to the Egypt, Byzantine and other Indo-European civilizations where medicine men attempted to cure it using herbal remedies and did not hesitate to use concoctions of iron, copper, sulfur and mercury (1), elements known for its toxic nature. Failing to treat the diseases because of both the lack of knowledge of the human anatomy and DNA or proper equipment, they would claim that the wrath of God had struck upon the ill patient. Medicine Men of this time also did not strive to further study cancer since mortality rates were low due to lack of food, clean water and constant
Paleontology is associated with geology. Paleontology is the result of the development of the Geologic Time Scale. There are many feature that deals with the period of Geologic Time Scale.
Compared to other fields, Wildlife Biologists have high educational requirements. Because the field requires intimate knowledge of many biological processes, as well as anatomy and ecological systems, this career requires at least a Bachelor's Degree. You may want to get an undergraduate degree in wildlife biology, general biology, zoology, ecology and any other related field. However, this will only get you to access to an entry-level position this may not what you want. If you want a wildlife biology Master's degree or Ph.D. will be required to advance beyond entry-level positions if you want be earning more money or better job choices. To get the most funding for your own and an university research positions, a Wildlife Biology Ph.D. is
Realizing the career that would be right for me. Would likely be a private/criminal investigator. Seeing that I am motivated and committed for a job like this it can become a widely problem-solving, communicational career for me. I’m willing to use my skills to help others in need in the criminal field. Pursuing this career it would allow me to always have something exciting happen daily and always be on my toes. Therefore, this is something that interests me a lot and I know it would be fun for me. As a private investigator, it requires much of schooling, ways to make sure you are a problem solver, and helping people with their cases of criminals and more that can get away from the trouble they had caused.
