Peer pressure influences teenagers by making them do things they're not comfortable doing. For example, teenagers will ditch school because of their friends are, but they want you to go with them, so you ditch school because your friends make you or try to convince you that it will be fun along with you not getting caught. What i think Laurie Anderson the author of “Speak” is saying about peer pressure is that teengaers could actrully give into peer pressure, the teenagers think their not cool or good enough to fit in the popular crowd if they don’t give into peer pressure.
