From the day we’re in our mother's stomachs, to the day we die, we have always been listening to music. For me, listening to music all my life helped me develop a passion for it. When I was around the age of 6 my dad introduced me into the world of Rock. The very first band I remember listening to was System of a Down and ever since then, I fell in love with rock music and all its possible variations; for a long time this was all I listened to. It wasn’t until high school that I started listening to all sorts of genres and realized that I wanted to have a career in the music industry. That's when I learned about producing music. A music producer has many different jobs, of course the most important being to help make the music. They help make sure the artist is on time to their recording sessions and that they are happy with the way things are sounding and other things like that. Another big part of a music producer's job is always looking for new talent to help develop and improve to eventually get them to sign to the label they work for. The people who do want to be a music producer do research with many different things in order to help them develop a greater understanding of what goes into this career. The pay range for a producer can be anywhere from twenty thousand to over a million dollars a year. The pay can also vary based on what artists you work with. The more popular the artist, the more money they may be willing to pay for your help. A popular producer right now would be Metro Boomin, he has helped artists such as Drake, Future, 21 Savage, and many other artists such as these.
