"Human!" Gon stood up, sorrowfully rubbing the back of his head. "Are you ok, human?! Where does it hurt?!" He lifted his head and stuck his tongue out. "Haha, I'm just kidding!" "Ha, see, what did I tell you? Gon wouldn't die even if he was thrown off a cliff." Gon and Killua's joyful laughter was infectious among Toriel, despite how angry she was, she couldn't help but laugh along with them. 'These humans...' "Hey, Toriel, I just remembered," Gon drew out. "You never told us anything about the Ruins." Gon raised his arm, his finger pointing at the hollowed out exit past the black tree. "There's more out there past this, right?" "Yes, everyday I go back and forth between my house and those bed of flowers in hopes of seeing if a human fell down. Usually I walk back home disappointed but today I found you two lying unconsciously on the bed of flowers..." …show more content…
"However, going through that way, you'll only find yourselves back where you started." "...beyond the Ruins there is an expansive world filled with monsters like myself, being humans some will try to kill you so you shouldn't worry about what lies past this place." "But that sounds really fun! I want to see the other places not just the Ruins, I mean, we'll be stuck down here for a while, might as well have
I know I have not seen you in too long, but that is over. I am now the President. As you know, 12 days ago, was the surrender at Appomattox Courthouse. If you know not, Confederate Army General, Robert E. Lee surrendered his 28,000 troops to Union Lt. General, Ulysses S Grant after the last battle of the war in the morning. Then, one week ago, John Wilkes Booth murdered Abraham Lincoln at Ford’s Theatre. Since I was his Vice President, and he died, I am now the President. I am glad that the war is over and the bloodshed is done. The Surrender at Appomattox filled me with joy. As for the Lincoln assassination, I have mixed views. I have deep sorrows and condolences for Lincoln and his family, for I liked the man and he respected me well. I am also
"Maybe you should be afraid, then, because if I had my way you wouldn't be alive for much longer."
"I will take the Dragon Paths, perhaps a scout about the area to see what can be seen from another prospective." He dipped his head toward Marley and with a quick wave to Drogan he vanished.
“No, we have to.” He turned his back to me. “We’ll figure out how to avoid or beat these things and then we’ll be able to seed new trees again… I’ve got to.”
“Why didn’t you say that in the first place?” I bark. “Serenity, we’ve got to go investigate right away. Where are the humans located?”
“Yeah! Lots and lots of stuff!” Ellie said after she had explained everything. “And… that door over there, everyone says a teacher died in there,” she whispered.
Willow sighed, “Well, your world is a lot different from ours for one. We don’t have dragons or Mountain Lyres or Bolesgire.”
"I . . . um . . . I'm not sure where we are actually," Aang said sheepishly. "But I do know that we are not that far from Crescent Island."
“No I am perfectly fine thanks. But really I was in the upstairs room of the building you know and there was a mirror and a monster and…”
“No, I’m pretty sure I know where to go, but something about this map has me perplexed,” I said sounding confused.
I never really thought a little Chevy s-10 could climb out of a ditch higher than it sat. There are a lot of things people don’t know because they’ve never experienced it. Another thing I didn’t know until I experienced it, an s-10 can do some long burn outs. Sometimes when you’re having a bad day, a burn out and ending up in a ditch just might make it better. After this burn out though, we ended up in a ditch and once we got out I made fun of my boyfriend for the longest time and I still do.
“After a while the lake, lodge, and arena get boring. New spots always need be created.”
Most like to imagine what it would be like to be in a science fiction story in real life. Everyone would also like to believe it would be easy to survive and to try and would like to believe fighting back would be the first answer. But what most don’t realize is that survival is going to be more difficult than one might think.
How do I feel about the apocalypse? Good question, let me begin with a little backstory. When I got deployed for my first, and only, time, I saw some things that would scar people. I normally kept to myself when I was there, I only had a few friends. The problem with that is the few friends I had I was really close to. So one day we were charging towards the enemy, everyone firing everywhere in hopes to hit one person. One of my friends was standing diagonally to my left, when a grenade went off. I, thankfully, didn't get the full force of it, my friend did. Bits of her went flying, mostly on me. I just remembered not being able to move, the only reason I was still running is from the groups behind me as they kept pushing forward. We did end
Luka let out a small snicker then he began laughing. "I can't believe you thought I would drink from you, you idiot! I swear you're like those humans who think the sky is falling!" Luka told Eren in between
