It was the best experience ever! I remember getting into the car with my friend and his mom. We had the most intense argument who was going to win. My friends uncle was cursing and talking so much crap. “The Cowboys suck and the Steelers would win,” his uncle said. After the argument I knew the Cowboys needed to win after all the crap we all talked. It would be embarrassing if they lost. I showed up to the hotel two days before the Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers. The temperature of the game was going to be mid 60s but the day after we checked it dropped to lower 40s and 30s. So we all rushed to a store to get gloves and hats and I made sure I got the best gloves in the store because I did not want to freeze during the game. “Wow …show more content…
I was so nervous for the game that my insides felt like I just did 50,000 circles on a roller coaster. My seats were so neat because I was at a high enough point to see the whole city. Cowboys got the ball first and did nothing. When the steelers got the ball they did the complete opposite, as they scored under 5 minutes. When they scored I thought to myself that this day was going to be a long day, and when they scored that was the worst feeling I ever had as it felt like a lightning bolt strike me not once, but twice. Then the cowboys answered and that first touchdown was to ezekiel elliott who scored on a long screen pass. It felt amazing and to see all the cowboys fans cheering. Then the scoring went back and forth for a little and at half the score was 13 to 15 steelers. Then the Cowboys took an advantage and when Dez Bryant scored the Steelers fans looked like they got mugged as they were in disbelief. Everything went quiet for the steelers fans and the players and the cowboys fans were getting crazy. At the end of the third quarter the Cowboys were winning 23 to 18. Then the cowboys fell to a 3 point deficit with 30 seconds left. Then Ezekiel Elliott busted a 30 yard touchdown run for the win. The Steelers had one more chance with a deep ball and everyone got quiet and you could only smell the charming hot dogs, hear the beer guys yelling at the top of there lungs form the whole other side, and some insanely drunk fans. Then the Steelers did not score and the Cowboys won the game and I had more excitement than the players. It felt amazing seeing all these Steelers fans shut up. That win made my
First, I walked through the gates and smelled the great food and could see the amazing field. Then, we had to find the suite where my friend’s dad’s business had bought for their employees for the game. We had to climb a ton of stairs to get to our seats because they were way high
The Carolina Panthers had to come out of the locker room after the first half needing to get something going if they were going to come back and beat the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50. The first half was dominated by the defense. Whose defense would be able to hold out for the rest of the game would determine who would win the Super Bowl.
quarterbacks and coach vs. coach. The announcers began the game by talking about each coach, Dan Quinn and Bill Belichick. They described how each coach was in honor to be in their position and to have their team make it this far. Both teams had good seasons, so now it’s time to see who the true champion is. The announcers expressed several times how the pressure was on for each coach, its team and their quarterbacks. They described how this shouldn’t be an easy game for either team.
The Cowboys offensive line was perfect last season, and they kept the defense away from their star quarterback Tony Romo. The "Great Wall" was a big reason for the Cowboys' success, and if Tyron Smith can remain healthy this season, defensives won't stand a chance against the Cowboys' offensive line.
OK Cowboys nation here it is. Football season is finally upon us, and it couldn't feel better! Just seeing our boys out on that field was incredible. Hearing the announcers and seeing the fans was the anticipation we have all been waiting for. I am very happy that we decided to keep our heart of the team on the sidelines. The blindside hit to Weeden made that even more clear to me that it was the right decision. The Cowboys have nothing to be ashamed of, however I do think that some of the same Cowboy's problems have still surfaced. Ball protection is still an issue. Coach Jason Garrett spoke on the issue after the game “I thought the biggest things were the turnovers, we drove the ball pretty well. We
It's the first quarter and the ravens won the coin toss. The Ravens decide to differ to the 49ers. it has been a battle between these two teams. You can tell that both teams are nervous, but that soon stopped after the wide receiver Anquan Boldin scored a 13-yard touchdown. After the Ravens scored the 49ers kicked a field goal. This super bowl is going to be a battle of wills and who wants it more. At the end of the quarter the Ravens had a 7-3 lead on the 49ers.
With the Dallas Cowboys trailing 23-17 with little time left in the 4th quarter, Longley found an open Pearson for a 50 yard touchdown pass; therefore Dallas won 24-23. This dramatic win with the odds stacked against the Cowboys has yet been beaten as the greatest moment in the Thanksgiving day series.
because they were the cows I herded and without them I wouldn’t have a job
I could feel the pressure of all of Wrigley Field on me. The whole nation waiting to see if the Cubs could do it for the first time since 1908. I watched the first pitch come in, ball. Then the second pitch which had always been my luckiest, I hit and I hit it hard with great power and height. No way that ball could have not have been going that far. We all then witnessed it go right out of the park. I heard first major league grand slam for Jacob Wyler get shouted from the speakers then the ‘Go Cubs Go’ song blasting. My whole team was on the field astonished that we just won the World Series. Those moments after we won will never be able to be recreated it was the best feeling in the world it was just the cherry on top to making it to the
It was week 8 and the Panthers (white) had recently lost to the Panthers (red). Thus, that was the worst season that the Panthers (white) had had in the past 3 seasons. Meanwhile, we did not have a game in week 9, so the coaches, Klinger and Howell, made us practice from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday through Friday. In practice, one day we found out that we were going to play the Dragons. Consequently, we all knew we had to win or we would be the only team that had not won a game by week 10. Coaches Klinger and Howell trained the defense against the offense constantly. Finally, the defense could anticipate the quarterback’s decisions and the offensive line would protect the quarterback long enough for him to throw the ball to a wide receiver. In summary, the coaches knew we were ready to defeat the Dragons.
The defense looked elite last week, as they made Dak Prescott look truly uncomfortable for one of the first times in his young career. The Cowboys’ offensive line struggled as mightily as it has since Prescott arrived in Arlington, which
There was six of us altogether, my mom, dad, sister, great grandma and grandpa, and I were already for the game. Even though it was 3 hours before the game started and we were only a 10 minute walk from the stadium. We just hung out and watched tv while we were waiting for it to be time to go to the game. My mom, dad, sister and I were going to leave early to explore the city a little bit but my grandparents were going to catch a cab. We ended up stopping at a Cardinal clothes shop and we all got more Cardinal shirts and I got a
At the end of the 2014 season, Dallas finished with an impressive 12-4 record, only to be knocked out of the playoffs on a controversial call. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw a fourth down pass to Dez Bryant and Bryant seemed to make the catch, but officials ruled the pass incomplete, stating that Bryant failed to keep possession of the ball after reaching for the end zone. A possible Cowboys run to the Super Bowl was taken away in one play.
We drove to the Tiger Stadium, I was wearing my Metallica, “Master of Puppets” album shirt, which I also got for my birthday. It seemed like the shortest drive because we were jamming out to Metallica. I was so excited because another great band was going to play before Metallica,
It was amazing to see all the smiles, laughs, and greeting from old friends who have graduated from high school but still return to support the team. It is so much fun to watch the football players after they get a touchdown because they go around the whole sideline yelling and jumping up and down. They are a band of brothers including the stars of the team, the sideline players, and even the manager who is handicapped boy who gets to dress out and have that team bond with the rest of them. Being at the football field has such a family
