I remember the weekend we first got Jenna like it was yesterday. I had been begging for a dog for a million years and my mom finally let me get one. Don’t tell Jenna this, but she wasn’t my first pick for a dog. Actually, I never even thought I’d get her.
My first choice was a purebred Havanese puppy, but he was already adopted. The day I went to the shelter to get Jenna, I was actually looking for another dog. She was the same breed as Jenna, but I’d seen on the web listing and she was delightful.
When I got the shelter, it was full of loud barking. There were so many adorable dogs and cats everywhere. We went to the back area and the volunteers said that the dog we wanted was already adopted, but they told us that there was another
One day, Abby, Jenna, and their parents were going camping. Early in the morning, their mom ran into their room and yelled that they were late and needed to go right that second. They jumped out of bed and dumped one of their drawers into their suitcase. They closed it, got ready, and ran to the car.
Upon arriving at the house I was greeted by an adorable little Labrador/Pit-bull mix she was very energetic and
It started as typical Tuesday with a couple of court hearings, maybe an arrest, but nothing to exciting. That all changed at dawn.
Four years ago I finally got the dog I’ve always wanted. We got her at the Oshkosh Humane Society. There were two other families that wanted her,but they picked us to adopt her!
And on our way home, she almost peed in the backseat of the car because she was so scared. However, when we finally got home, she was overjoyed that she finally had a good home where she would be loved forever. Not only by six humans, but by three other animals including, two cats and one other dog named bella, tiger, my two cats, and libby, the other dog. She had to go right into the backyard because we were worried about how she would act around the other animals. But when she smelled Libby’s breath on the toys she busted through the screen door and she licked all of the animals until they looked like they swam in a pool.
Then we got Rex.. well he was a retired cop dog and I could literally ride him around. He lasted about 5 months then someone stole him. Then we got George Regan, well this dog was so stupid he'd pee on you every time you pet him. He ended up biting someone on dogwood.. I have no clue how he got that far or why.. but the peoples daughter he bit kept him.. or perhaps they killed him and didnt tell me? Well then we got Jack, he was a jack russel looked just like wishbone. I went to work with mom for some reason, and one of her coworkers had him on a leash out front, well I asked if I could pet him and she said of course he's yours! That was a surprise and sweet gift from the Barbara. We had him probably 7 years, he ate her peper spray once and went blind he sill could jump up to your neck. So we took him everywhere he was my best buddy. He was the only one she'd let me keep in the house ( 50% of the time). Then her and amanda backed over him on christmas eve one year (I might have already told you this) I was out at lavanias with the village and here comes amanda in crying, she throws off her wig
My name is Jakeria Harris back at home, I was very antisocial. I grew up in a small town by the name of Ocilla, Ga. I was raised by my grandmother Doretha, most of my life because of my mother, Vanessa, had to work full time to provide for me. In school, I would always stay to myself because people would always push me around and say harsh things to me. I started feeling insecure about the way I looked, so I started hanging with the wrong crowd and started making terrible
On April 26th,1999 I emerged into the world a happy baby given the name Bethany Gavin. I’m now in year 12 and I attend Cooks Hill Campus, Big Picture. My education began here in year 10 after leaving three years of home schooling and have grown as a student as the years have gone on.
Ignoring me, he continued, "She broke up up with me because I bought her a simple neclace for her birthday not the diamond bracelet she wanted."
Maxie came into our lives November 20th, 2013. My sister found her on the side of the road. My dad told us that we couldn’t keep her because we already had too many dogs. We put up signs and uploaded posts on facebook asking if she was anyone’s dog. No one claimed her and she began to grow on everyone. Before long, she was a part of our family. We all loved her and couldn’t imagine our household without her. She was this little blessing that found her way into our house and I will forever be thankful to whoever’s dog she was, for allowing us have two years of joy with her.
I got my first dog at the Humane Society when I was nine years old. Pepper being a cairn terrier, she has become an animal I have become
Jena Zarroli and I were stuck in the same Spanish class together my freshman year of high school. I guess you could say we bonded over our mutual hatred for it. But I never would've guessed that we'd later go on to become best friends. School ended and summer began, but Jena and I rarely hung out. Not until a few weeks later anyways, when we had the most outrageously funny sleepover I'd had possibly ever. After that we were practically inseparable, so inseparable to the extent that I even started going to work with her to help out. We usually worked late nights. And boy did we goof off. But things got done none the less. Afterwards, I would sleep over at her house.
Reflecting on my years in school, my experiences weren’t like those of Alison or Stephanie. I was the quiet one who just never talked to anyone. I would mind my own business and not pay attention to the drama going around me. As I went into high school, I became more social with my classmates, and more confident in myself. However, I didn’t encounter any problems with any of my classmates, like Alison and Stephanie.
A friend of my Dad’s was taking care of a puppy that his elderly neighbor could not take care of anymore, but he already had 2 dogs. He knew we were looking for a dog, so he asked my Dad if we wanted it. Of course we said yes when we met the three month old dachshund.
I remember like it was yesterday, but it was really three years ago. That was one of the best days of my life when I got my first dog Kiki. I was so happy a felt like I was going to explode with happiness.Kiki was half shih shu and half yorkie, but she was more shih shu then she was yorkie. She had multiple color fur of wight, brown and black, but she was mostly white with brown and black spots. She was a tiny little puppy when we got her and I love her so much.
