my favorite super bowl commercial was the doritos commercial and the car one where he followed his a daughter and boyfriend by his car because he had a tracker on it. and the doritos commercial was funny because there was a guy and he was the husband and he was eating doritos at his wife’s ultrasound so every time he moved the dorito away from the baby it would kick and you could see it on the screen and then the wife got irritated at the husband and threw the dorito a long way away from her and the baby jumped and i guess was coming out because everyone was screaming that was hilarious and the only thing i didn't like about the game was that the denver broncos won but i think the panthers had a pretty good season. but i was rooting for the
During the Superbowl people usually enjoy the some what famous commercials. Some are very good and others are not that good. This year's Superbowl contained both the good commercials and the not so good commercials. The two Superbowl commercials that were very entertaining was the Skittles commercial and the Febreze commercial. Both were very entertaining because they wanted to catch the audience's eye on how funny they were plus to get people to buy their products. Both of these commercials were very entertaining. But, which one was a better commercial?
Kaleigh, I agree completely with you and Aaron. The decrease in the price of aluminum and how to affects companies, our country, and other industries are all great examples of how this issue affects our economy. Not only is this article illustrating the issue of outsourcing to other countries but it is alCheryl,
A Superbowl commercial I thought was good was a Mountain Dew Kick Starter commercial. They made it very entertaining to watch. In the commercial they used a strange made up animal called a "puppy, monkey, baby." They combined 3 things that people liked, or thought was cute. They took all "three awesome things combined" and made it one. The puppy, monkey, baby just said it's name through out the entire commercial.
There are many top ten lists of SuperBowl commercials available on the Internet. This one has been defined by the cumulative number of views on YouTube as of this writing, correlated to the number of mentions in Google search results. That approach has ensured an unbiased list of the top ten SuperBowl Commercials of 2012. Based on this approach here is the list:
The Superbowl Commercial I thought was good was the one with Antman and the Hulk. In this commercial Antman had a mini coke and the Hulk was chasing Antman for it. They both stopped on a buildings roof and the Hulk told Antman that he wanted it. Antman gave the mini coke to the Hulk and he could not get it open because his fingers were to big. Antman jumped onto the coke and opened it for him.
The Skittles and Mr. Clean commercials where the best Super Bowl LI commercials. They were the best because they were funny and really got the watcher's attention. They were persuasive by for Skittles showing how good they are and for Mr. Clean showing how good their products work. Showing how good something is or how well it works is a big part of advertising and selling products. These commercials really are the type that makes you want to rewind them and watch them again. That is why the Skittles and Mr.Clean commercials were the funniest ones.
An advertisement is a paid notice that tells people about a product or service(Advertisement). One of the biggest platforms on TV for an advertisement is the Super Bowl. It is by far the most watched TV event every year. A platform this big cost a lot of money. Super Bowl XLVII and Super Bowl XLVIII cost on average $4 million for only thirty seconds of airtime(Schwartz). Toyota used this platform to introduce the all new Prius 4 during Super Bowl 50 when they aired their commercial, The Longest Chase. This ninety second commercial cost Toyota a bunch of money but, the company believed that it was worth the price. This advertisement shows that the Hybrid group, like the Prius, are the way to go now. And the car’s power and performance are enough to turn any drive into an event worth sharing with the entire world. This Toyota commercial uses reasoning (logos) and emotion (pathos) to show why everyone should own the all new Prius 4.
Gatorade has been sponsoring the NFL for many years, starting in 1968. Its involvement with the sport has made the drink known to many today “The official drink of the NFL” (Gatorade). According to Naomi Klein “…the wave of mergers in the corporate world over the last few years is a deceptive phenomenon: it only looks as if the giants, by joining forces, are getting bigger and bigger”(4). And that is exactly what the corporation of Gatorade was trying to carry out. By joining its name with the NFL, which at that time was becoming a famous sport to watch, Gatorade has become the number one sport drink for athletes. In the “Peyton Manning-Gatorade Commercial”, the corporation of Gatorade is not only selling their product, but is also
Super Bowl commercials are always the one of the best parts of the Super Bowl. They persuade you to do or by something. They do this in a way that everyone loves, being funny. The commercials usually get attention, by being so funny. For instance, the skittles and Kia commercial were hilarious.
There are more than a few reasons people watch the super bowl. Some watch for the game (surprisingly not the majority), some watch for commercials or good deals, etc. Whatever makes people watch, makes the super bowl one of the most watched games every year. I saw a few really good commercials during the game and a few commercials that make me believe that a new generation is upon us with a T-Mobile commercial that used word play to joke about marijuana and other commercials that were very…. Sexy? With all of this being said I am one of the viewers who tune in for the actual game. I was scheduled to work Sunday night during the super bowl so naturally as a football fan I called off so I could catch the game, for homework of course. The game
What makes the Super Bowl commercial "Bleep Don't Stink" persuasive? "Bleep Don't Stink" is about a man named Dave who's bleep doesn't stink, bleep is what they actually say. At the end they say how Dave wont be at your super bowl party, thats why you need Febreze. This seems very persuasive and clever. It seems that the focus of persuasion is emotional.
In “No More’s Official Super Bowl Ad”, No More reveals the audio of a woman calling 911 ordering a pizza for delivery. The 911 operator addresses the woman questioning if she is aware she called an emergency line. The woman answers questions from the operator by disguising her responses with a pizza order while the background noise comprises of a television and a male voice accompanying her in the room. While the audio plays, visuals of the interior of a home flash upon the screen. A hole in the wall, a picture frame on the ground, specifically of a woman and a man, and an untidy bedroom all show signs of a previous violent struggle in the home. At the end of the video a message appears which states, “When it’s hard to talk, it’s up to us to listen…” associated with a website. In their powerful and informative public service announcement, “No More’s Official Super Bowl Ad” proves to be a campaign opposing domestic violence and sexual assault in which No More thoroughly establishes the need to stop domestic and sexual abuse by using pathos to evoke multiple distinct tones, ethos to demonstrate concern to the audience, and as well, using ethos to provide credibility.
Just as youth matures, and a bright passionate flame begins to fade into adulthood, companies expand and grow to a point in which the founder’s purpose of the company may become diluted to a point where it simply isn 't able to be felt. My intended purpose of this paper stems from questioning this very concept through the method of analysis of rhetoric used. my choice on example was chosen on the basis of using a company nearly everyone knows, a company founded most certainly on a purpose, one of being “different.” my test to find if this spirit of the founder is still present is to compare two ads from Apple: one from the very beginning, “the 1984 Super bowl Ad” as well as one from modern day with, “Broken Promises” coming from the year 2009. Both ads were chosen on the basis of time being the only variable in which was changed as both ads are presented through the same medium, as well as representing the same product, Apple’s Macintosh.
I went on YouTube and watched the Top 10 Super Bowl Commercials of 2017, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF3wOrWBKjc. The one commercial that stood out the most to me was the Skittle commercial. In the commercial there was a guy throwing skittles at the window, trying to wake up this girl, on the inside of the window the girl was catching the skittles in her mouth and so was everyone else in the house, including her mother, father, grandmother and others. The company that was being promoted was obviously Skittles. I feel that the company succeeded in promoting the product. I believe that the ad was something that created a buzz and had people talking about it. When I typed in Super Bowl commercials on YouTube it came up multiple times and
1. Without a doubt the best play of the game would be Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller's sack of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton that forced a fumble. The fumble was recovered for a touchdown, and was really the first (and one of the few) impact play of the game. Miller went on to win MVP and his team the Super Bowl, and this clutch play early on in the game definitely had some influence on both those things. It also set the defensive tone of the game. However, I think the best play of the Super Bowl in general would have to be the infant's quick moves out of the womb in the Doritos commercial. That baby had, arguably, more speed than Miller when he got around the Panthers's offensive line to make the sack, and the newborn deserves
